I’m surprised you didn’t know about the fountain. Joan is at the hospital every Monday. She gives different amounts of turnips. Mostly 30 but I got 100 once. This was fun. I hope you do a part 2.

This week I was running from the wasps, and Leif was on my island. When I ran by him to get into Resident Services, they stopped chasing me and hovered around the plants on his cart!
Jone DOES show at the Hospital but only on Mondays and keep an eye on the school for other NPCs who are not part of New Horizons. you may need to unlock the event. Also the doctor and the chef can give you special items when you make an appointment with the doctor threw the receptionist or when you talk to the chef. You can also spot interesting NPCs at the roost either sitting down at certain days and hours or walking in after you place an order. This will take many tries. other fun things, the haunted forest wall paper has a ghost that only appears when the lights switch from on to off this ghost will appear in different spots for you and your friends the magic circle floor in combination with the candle wall will glow Animals will get freaked out if they visit your house and have your furniture facing the wall/ unusable Animals will be happy if they visit you and have there photos on display and examine your photo if a lazy animal visits you and you tap on the snapping turtle they'll ask if they can eat the turtle you can eat a few different fish if you catch one you can eat you'll learn a recipe. while this is true of sea bass it does happen for a few others if your 1st log on is at night and Celest is on the island Isabell will announce her. if you 1st log on after 3 Am Isabell will yawn and look totally out of it if you have multiple accounts and log on when its night, and two or more things are happening at the same time (snow, star shower, Celest, an other NPC, a camper etc) Isabell can read one announcement for one account but a different announcement for an other account uneven ground and arch ways can some times freak out the tarantula/ scorpion so they spin if you place CD players all over and have them all play different songs your animals might start to sing two different songs at the same time if you have 2 animals singing at once. the Plaza clock has a drummer who comes out and plays on every hour if you have zodiac items in your inventory when you talk to celest she'll tell you facts about them if you use the plaza duck game you can actually toss the ball and hit the ducks if you place, remove objects directly next to an animal they get surprised if you buy an object an animal is looking at they get surprised if you do a Kappin ride or a KK song you can clap along to the music the ants are escaping from there exhibit in the museum on certain days and hours an Alien will broadcast on your TV, I seem to recall it being weekends at 3:33 am on HHP Niko is working on DIYs check his room for details HHP will continue to reward you even at and beyond 40 homes gyroids on your wall can clip threw objects and appear to be in them if you place a magazine and a hot tun on a cliff and climb up on the magazine side you can clip and glitch inside the hot tub some of the fake paintings will move if you look at them closely if you push a cooking or crafting animal out of his place they will stand there until you move away then they will walk back you can build a perfect snowboy with out using the max size snow balls as long as the head is smaller then the bottom by the same fraction two dung beetles can roll a snow ball to the right size but can not make a snow boy on there own ants can be attracted to things other then rotted turnips. They seem to like candy at least. if an animal invites you to there house they will give you a copy of the music in there house. if you talk to animals on HHP after making them a house they will give you the floor or wall you used in there house if you make a new account the 1st time Redd shows up for the new account he'll have all real art When you buy turnips you can now ger turnip recopies and DIYs when you make a new account Celest will now next appear on the 1st star shower animals will tell your new account how they 1st met your main account
i think the arch one does work but the reason it didn't seem to do anything for you is that you didn't stop directly under the arch. if it's the same concept as the pergola, wasps can't get to you when you're "inside" objects, sort of like how you can't plant weeds or anything in the space where pergolas/arches sit. so as long as you stayed directly under the arch they wouldn't touch you but as soon as you leave they continue chasing you. i'm surprised though, i thought running into the pergola actually dispersed them!
Another “myth” although its worked for me, if you do the same thing as the cat tree with the dog house it should growl and flash red eyes in the dark opening in it. Please do a part 2!
Can confirm about Joan, the fountain has been doing that for a long time - I hope whenever you do the DA for the Vegas island your time is at an hour so that it’ll kick that off. It would be cool for you to have a whole area of fountains spiking high in unison. Super excited about the cat meow! That’s adorable!
OMG YES!!! Two words: Bellagio Fountain! (even though it's more like a small, manmade *lake* ) The nighttime water shows are fantastic and on the hour IIRC
I heard that if knock on the bathroom stall item 3 times.. the stall will knock back This is so cool I feel like Pat is the new Mythbusters for animal crossing

I love that you love how Brewster slides the coffee cup back to his wing - I love that too! I also feel that the best update in 2.0 is the little flourish your character's hand does as you open the door in Paradise Planning!
Amazing video!! But I can confirm on Joan at the hospital, I saw her there a couple times. She isn't there all the time so you have to check in pretty often. My favorite myth was the cat tower one, I am definitely a cat person :)
This was a fun video. I heard about the cat tower, but I could never make it work. The fountain one I knew. It works on both fountains. Joan also comes in Mondays. I stopped buying turnips on Sunday because I was getting them for free lol. Would love to see more of these videos. Ty for sharing
Oh! Speaking of items promoting the hour! I learned this from Jelli: the Plaza Clock from the Plaza series is like a huge cuckoo clock. A little soldier pops out and plays the drums.
I think Joan is either only there on Mondays or doesn't trigger until you upgrade the hospital by donating 120,000 poki. But I've seen her at my hospital once.
Joan is definitely there for her check-up on Mondays! I get my turnips from her now so I can sleep in on Sundays lol. I wonder if you have to finish the storyline in HHP to unlock her.

The glowing eye one does work, it's just not red and not precisely at 2am. It glows violet/gray like you saw. The skull doesn't normally do that during the day. Also I have seen Joan at the hospital and she gave me turnips
Ok I found an old Reddit post from 2020. The skull had the same glowing eyes you saw late at night, but they don’t glow during the day. Could have sworn it was red!
Another way to avoid wasps is to go open the custom design app and go to the custom design portal or open the happy home network app and the wasps just disappear
If you talk to your receptionist at your hospital you can tell her what’s wrong with you and the doctor will see you in the back. I think there are four different options with different treatments. I’ve done the headache and I think the runny nose one. I got an eye patch and kleenex stuffed up my nose. I’ve known about the fountain forever.

After being attacked by wasps, I was wearing a Venetian Carnival mask and they didn't notice. I could see my eyes and of course, normal glasses don't hide it, but the masks do. Cool trick unless you're looking for free meds. ^_^ And I always wanted the cat tower to do Something, I love this!

If you always first hold the net before shaking the tree from the front and there is room for the hive to fall to one side (no rock or fence or shrub on both sides), then your character always turn toward the hive and you simply press the net button to catch the bees effortlessly. Of course, if you are standing on flowers, your character will pickup flowers first, which wastes time, and you would get stung.

When I used to plat City Folk, I just wore sunglasses all the time because I was terrible at catching wasps, so I did it in ACNH too till I figured out the trick to catching them. Joan is in on Mondays for her weekly check up (I'm sure you've figured that out by now)
Go to the museum when Blathers is awake and you have a bug in your inventory, any bug really, stand next to blathers and open your inventory and click "Show it off" on the bug right next to Blathers, watch him SQUIRM in fear. xD
I think the stone arch works if you have more than one next to the other, so it does something similar to the Pergola. And Joan is every monday at the hospital after you’ve upgraded it ! I remember a glitch that would make her give you infinite turnips, when HHP came out. I think it’s been patched, though.

I can confirm the Joan one. It's only once a week, and you get like 5 or 10 turnips, I think. Not enough to make any profit at the Stalk Market, but it's a nice little Easter Egg. She's usually in the back, in a wheelchair. You get a little lore about why in this game it's her granddaughter selling the turnips and not her as well.
I knew the fountain and pergola thing. I wonder if the skull thing would glow red if it's not in the museum. I know some of the dinosaurs are interactive and do things if you set them up on the island. Then there's the fake version of the one statue with the antennas and it floats and stuff.
@@XxBrittany20xX the triceratops moves its head up and down and opens and closes its mouth when you try to interact with it. To be honest that's the only one I know of but I haven't tried them all yet either.
For the stone arch, there's a chance the hornets will get hung up on it--not 100% but it can happen. It's more visible--and effective--if you have a series of arches arranged in a tunnel configuration (all immediately next to each other) and run through them all. I've known about the fountain for a long time, as I placed one between the town plaza and Nook's Cranny when I was configuring my town center way back when. Always found that a neat little detail. One thing with the hot chocolate--careful examination of the dialogue shows it's actually slightly different from what you normally see. Also, usually when Brewster says "drink it while it's hot", it gives your character the option to do so or wait for it to cool. Not this time; your character drinks it straight away. As for Joan... you have to visit the hospital on Monday. I've gotten turnips every time I've visited that place on a Monday.
Please test this myth. Make a donation box, put bells in the donation box, wait for it to be a hot item in the shop then sell it. That would double your bells plus a little more.
Oh! Another one that I've heard, tried, and had a certain amount of success with. If you clap at Orville before you talk to him about your flight, you'll get better Nook Miles Islands.
I discovered a myth where if you placed a Skull radio (Switched on) in a Science Pod, then place the camera in a certain way it looks like you can only see a pair of red eyes in the pod. It looked cool😮
It would be hilarious if your char spat out the chocolade yelling "THIS AIN`T COFFEE! ARE YOU TRYING TO RIP ME OFF YOU BASTARD?" 🤣 Edit: I love your Silent Hill inspirated hospital.
I also met Joan at the hospital, it was a Sunday before noon and I think she said something along the lines getting a check-up every week around that time, but I have yet to meet her again
The Lucky Cat and Gold Lucky Cat also meow when you interact with them. At first I didn't know this. One time I heard a meow and I thought it was my mom's cat. Looked around the room, NO cat. Then looked at the screen. One of my villagers was playing with my Lucky Cat. Joan IS at the hospital on Mondays. Try time traveling to Monday.
How did you not know about the fountains? The new plaza fountain does it too it’s so cute. The Joan thing is true BTW. All you gotta do is catch a Monday morning stream on KayDaisy 💅🏽
The stone arch is actually true but only if you stay under it, as far as I know. It has the same effect like the pergola but the safe zone is incredibly small. I have seen people do it but I never managed myself, I always seem to miss the spot. Unless Nintendo patched that out. I was surprised you didn't know about the fountain bc there were effects like this in New Leaf, too, a lot more actually. The new fountain does that too and the Plaza Clock opens and a little drummer comes out striking his drum as many times as matches the hour. :)
If you get a donation box as your hot item in Nooks Cranny, if you load the box full of bells beforehand the bells you donate with the box will also get doubled when you sell it to them 😈
I'm curious about the wasp and arch thing.. Maybe you're just supposed to stand under the arch, not walk through it. Because it worked when under the pergola. Maybe if you passed through the pergola, you woulda been stung?
that wasp mask thing, i wonder if is new addition, cause in the past year, i recall getting stung wearing the the mask covering my face and villagers still react about me being stung.
the stone arch one i think it only doesnt sting you if you stand directly under it. i think it has to do with how items you can go under work since you cant place items beneath them its probably treated as a filled space by the wasps

The fountain spiking happens every hour on the hour, it also works with the new park fountain (the one with the seals)

As long as you're good friends with your villagers you can get a valentines card from all of them and not just your favorite.
You didn’t see Joan bc she only goes on Mondays and you probably weren’t on a Monday so thats probably why you didn’t see her!

Go to the museum when Blathers is awake and you have a bug in your inventory, any bug really, stand next to blathers and open your inventory and click "Show it off" on the bug right next to Blathers, watch him SQUIRM in fear. xD

I think the stone arch works if you have more than one next to the other, so it does something similar to the Pergola.
And Joan is every monday at the hospital after you’ve upgraded it ! I remember a glitch that would make her give you infinite turnips, when HHP came out. I think it’s been patched, though.

I can confirm the Joan one. It's only once a week, and you get like 5 or 10 turnips, I think. Not enough to make any profit at the Stalk Market, but it's a nice little Easter Egg. She's usually in the back, in a wheelchair. You get a little lore about why in this game it's her granddaughter selling the turnips and not her as well.
I have had Joan about 4 times in the hospital. And she does give you turnips. Love your videos

I knew the fountain and pergola thing. I wonder if the skull thing would glow red if it's not in the museum. I know some of the dinosaurs are interactive and do things if you set them up on the island. Then there's the fake version of the one statue with the antennas and it floats and stuff.
Really!? What fossils can u interact with outside?? I knew about the statues and creepy paintings. But not the fossils
@@XxBrittany20xX the triceratops moves its head up and down and opens and closes its mouth when you try to interact with it. To be honest that's the only one I know of but I haven't tried them all yet either.

Cool video. The new seal fountain looks even better on the hour mark. The seals and fish squirt water out of their mouths.
For the stone arch, there's a chance the hornets will get hung up on it--not 100% but it can happen. It's more visible--and effective--if you have a series of arches arranged in a tunnel configuration (all immediately next to each other) and run through them all.
I've known about the fountain for a long time, as I placed one between the town plaza and Nook's Cranny when I was configuring my town center way back when. Always found that a neat little detail.
One thing with the hot chocolate--careful examination of the dialogue shows it's actually slightly different from what you normally see. Also, usually when Brewster says "drink it while it's hot", it gives your character the option to do so or wait for it to cool. Not this time; your character drinks it straight away.
As for Joan... you have to visit the hospital on Monday. I've gotten turnips every time I've visited that place on a Monday.
Please test this myth. Make a donation box, put bells in the donation box, wait for it to be a hot item in the shop then sell it. That would double your bells plus a little more.

I discovered a myth where if you placed a Skull radio (Switched on) in a Science Pod, then place the camera in a certain way it looks like you can only see a pair of red eyes in the pod. It looked cool😮

I also met Joan at the hospital, it was a Sunday before noon and I think she said something along the lines getting a check-up every week around that time, but I have yet to meet her again

The Lucky Cat and Gold Lucky Cat also meow when you interact with them.
At first I didn't know this. One time I heard a meow and I thought it was my mom's cat. Looked around the room, NO cat. Then looked at the screen. One of my villagers was playing with my Lucky Cat.

The stone arch is actually true but only if you stay under it, as far as I know. It has the same effect like the pergola but the safe zone is incredibly small. I have seen people do it but I never managed myself, I always seem to miss the spot. Unless Nintendo patched that out.
I was surprised you didn't know about the fountain bc there were effects like this in New Leaf, too, a lot more actually. The new fountain does that too and the Plaza Clock opens and a little drummer comes out striking his drum as many times as matches the hour. :)
If you get a donation box as your hot item in Nooks Cranny, if you load the box full of bells beforehand the bells you donate with the box will also get doubled when you sell it to them 😈

that wasp mask thing, i wonder if is new addition, cause in the past year, i recall getting stung wearing the the mask covering my face and villagers still react about me being stung.
the stone arch one i think it only doesnt sting you if you stand directly under it. i think it has to do with how items you can go under work since you cant place items beneath them its probably treated as a filled space by the wasps
