You can customize the Festivale Items by talking to Cyrus at Harvs island. You no longer need to worry about crafting Rainbow Feathers just to change the color.
Cyrus is the most useful vendor in Harv's co-op. No cap.

I think the wearing your villager's matching outfit comment only happens the first time you talk to them on a day. It looked like you had already talked to Erik that day since he said, "We meet again..." or something to that affect.
I did happen to me one time when i had the same costume on as a villager on halloween
And he wasn't wearing the same pants either.
For the graveyard wall paper you don’t need the second click (custom light) in fact you don’t need to turn on and off the lights, just turn the camera away by circling the camera around and the specter will show up closer. Also Joan may give you different amounts of turnips. I got 30 today as of a few Mondays ago ive gotten 70.
If you add a 2nd user to your island, you can replay Happy Home Paradise again, but this time they will always have different villagers and different items in Lottie's Office.
I have a second user and when I go to my airport I cannot go to work. I think what you really need to do is purchase it again for that user and that’s a lot of money
Both of my characters can play HHP, one purchase. However I had to make my Switch Lite my primary console (I was originally on my daughter's Switch).
@@Dfoto679 No you don't need to buy the DLC again. All the users have access to the DLC once its bought once .
@@Dfoto679 Bro I have 7 other users and you can all access the DLC. Once you bought it all of them can gain access so there is no restriction.
That’s not the case for me unfortunately, it makes me buy the dlc again for the other users... that’s unfortunate because now I can’t use soundscapes, hallway styles, and special lighting in my other houses. Luckily I can still use celing items, accent walls, and walls and pillars though.

The one where Blathers reacts worriedly to you showing off the bug is one I've known for a while. Also, the only requirement is that he's awake--so even if he's awake because you talked to him, he'll have the reaction, though there's always the danger he'll fall back asleep before you can show off the bug.
Something to try if the stars align: if you have a villager from your main island invited to your archipelago (e.g. via the souvenir chocolates), and they are working at one of the facilities, and they're either sick or have a birthday, they won't show up for work that day, and you can't assign them as a worker at any of the facilities. This actually happened to me (specifically with the birthday) and it gave me a special message when I visited the facility the villager normally worked at.
If you're on a friends island you can use the ABD to access your bell account. So you no longer have to go back to your island just to get bells from your ABD machine.
You can now buy tools from Nook Shopping. I am not sure if this was a thing before the 2.0 update but someone told me that it was recently added in after the update.

You do not need to upgrade your hospital. I had Joan waaaaay before I added the patient ward. Just go on Mondays

If I buy turnips on Sunday, then Joan will be in the hospital on Monday. I buy 30 gives 30, I buy 50 gives 50.

I didn’t upgrade my hospital but I still had Joan in my hospital on a Monday. I did talk to Daisy Mae the day before to see the price of turnips but I didn’t buy any

I could be remembering this incorrectly, but wearing armor to not get stung was a myth in New Leaf as well. It was also said the spacesuit protected you, which neither did. I think the idea was they had no way to get to you in that outfit (especially the spacesuit), but clearly they can.

Villagers WILL point out you're wearing the same outfit, the first time you speak to them that day. The pants/shoes/hat/eyewear doesn't matter, but the shirt has to match.
I already confirmed the alien for myself, it has been around since the original AC, if I'm not mistaken. But I'm sure it happens everyday and not just on Saturdays.
Nope, I don't think so. I accidentally tried to watch on a Friday night and nada. Didn't happen. I stayed up the next night and "voila" aliens.
Great video! I didn’t realize Blathers wakes up at 6pm. You said you always see Blathers sleeping. I read somewhere that if a villager is visiting the museum during the day, Blathers will be awake. It seems like I’ve seen this happen. (Apologies if this has already been covered.)
If you have a friend visiting your island, Blathers will be awake.

When shaking trees stand facing them with a net (back facing you) and don't move just spam A when wasps fall, you'll automatically catch them! :D

I remember once that a villager gifted me an item (I can't remember exactly what the item was but it was furniture) in the mail and later that day, I forgot that this villager gave me this item and regifted it back and the villager said something like the item seems familiar but can't remember where they have seen it before 😂
Don't forget to check in for a doctor checkup and you can get medical-related clothing items.

Yeah you can make your character look like that got into a serious accident and they had to be patched up. So thats how you get most of the medical clothing.
Also... Making a lazy villager as the doctor gets your really funny dialogue. 🤣 You should definitely try it. 😊

Palm trees can only be planted in sand, though they can be found in grass, but only on certain mystery islands. Stinging insects never appear in dream suite islands. Vines and fixed ladders can be picked up in dreams, but not placed. Fruit on a tree placed on a cliff edge using the cliff glitch can't be shaken off. Neither Redd nor Daisy Mae can fall into a pit when walking around your island.
i think for the graveyard wall you dont need to keep turning the lights on, i think if your just keep spinning it comes closer but im not sure!
I didn't have to upgrade my hospital to have her come. I randomly went in on a Monday and she was there and she terrified me. That is the creepiest character design ever

Villagers will comment on your appearance if you are twinning! One time I was wearing a flower sweater and Deirdre was wearing the same thing, she was like “Oh! You decided to wear a flower sweater today? At least one of us can look good in it.” Or something like that. I think it only happens sometimes.
Blathers' reaction to you showing off the bug is because it's not in a cage. When you donate a bug Bathers says something like "No, no, keep it in its cage," because he doesn't want the bug running loose in his museum!

You should definitely do a part three. I had Nan? the lizard show up on my hhp beach and talk at the school about how you can decorate with bugs now. It was right after I went back to hhp for the first time after 30 houses. Not sure if it was a certain day or not. Maybe go back and check your beach for him running around.

On rare occasions when you start up the game, there's a chance that Isabelle will tell you she's read her horoscope and it just so happens to promise good luck. When this happens, players have discovered that you can make some serious bank.
In order to do this, you must listen very carefully to Isabelle's morning announcement, when she reports that she has had a 'lucky horoscope day' signals the day to bury 99k. On this day, search your island for that glowing crack in the ground, dig up the 1000 bells and bury 99k.
You can de-spawn bees by opening the Happy Home Paradise app
(1) A "more" valuable fish will appear. So maybe a fish has to be there already for a more valuable one to appear?
(2) Maybe you need pants on for Eric to say you're wearing the same thing? Because this one has worked for me, but I was fully clothed.

You don’t have to upgrade the hospital to get Joan…I’ve met her twice since building my hospital. Although, she didn’t give me 50 turnips, so you must get more after upgrading.
But, to create the turnip basket DIY, you can ONLY use the turnips she gives you. You can’t use ones purchased with Daisy Mae

Honestly villagers do actually comment on your clothes and even if you change hairstyles, I actually even had a villager be surprised we where matching, they even comment on the custom designs they wear, but thing is, its actually pretty rare to get these moments! They are hard to come by, if you are lucky you might get em
My hospital isn't upgraded and Joan still appears there every Monday. The myth part of that ACNH rumor is that it needs an upgrade for Joan to appear.
That Alien one would scare the crap out of me if I had stumbled across it without seeing this first.

In a dream address, I encountered a villager not from my home island, but one that I had built a home for in HHP. She called me by name in the dialog when I spoke to her and cast shade on her digs on that island. That has never happened before that I'm aware of. Try it!
Joan is at the hospital every Monday, regardless of whether or not you have upgraded it. I haven't upgraded yet and she comes to my hospital every Monday for her check up, and she gives me turnips. So you can still see her with out upgrading.

There's special dialogue you get if you give a villager the item of clothing they are currently wearing.

Of you press the bathroom stall item it will make knocking sounds
If you talk to a jock villager right after you get stung by wasps they will give you a recipe for medicine
The Joan myth should be mentioned by Tom/ Lottie in the game. I haven’t played other AC games, New Horizons it’s my first so even if I unlocked her by chance, I wouldn’t have known who she is. I would’ve probably thought she is just another villager and I would’ve totally ignored her.
I feel like no one talks about how the chef in your restaurant will give you a cooking DIY every day.
I've dressed the same as one of my villagers many times, and they have never mentioned it once.

If you push Timmy and tommy to the top of the store in the corner they’ll stop following you around lol

Just wanted to correct, you don't need your hospital to be upgraded for Joan to show up. She visits there every Monday until 12 NOON. I haven't upgraded but i already saw her multiple times.
I've actually had Joan turn up at my hospital without the upgrade , so I don't think the upgrade matters

You can get Joan without actually building the hospital ward upgrade. I paid it off, but never ultimately built it because I hate the idea of a room full of sick villagers. She has given me 10, 100 and 30 turnips.

Joan visited my hospital today, but I know I still have a balance on upgrading the hospital. She gave me 50 turnips. I don't think the upgrade is a requirement.
You didn't need to turn off the light each time with the graveyard one you just move your camera around you had the ghost you just didn't notice it. :D, if you want another wallpaper one put the candle wallpaper and the magic circle flooring and turn the lights off and get a magical surprise. I think it's a card capture sakura easter egg imo. Also I love the alien one, I did it once and I thought it was creepy.

I really wish the armor protected you from the wasps, but it doesn’t unfortunately. I mean, I rarely get stung, but sometimes it does happen, and I wish I had that luxury to protect myself like that.

You do not have to upgrade for Joan to come to the hospital. She came to my hospital every Monday before upgrading.
