I still think Hamilton has somehow developed some kind of mythical status with his followers and people just don't want to accept, he's not 21 any more and though there are freaks of nature (possibly Alonso) the most likely answer is that he's just softening a touch.. Still very fast. Still extremely talented but as I've said before, in a sport separated by 10ths and 100ths of a second, he's dropped from regular No.1 to regular 5th - 8th.. Leclerc is still young and very strong but Hamilton will cost them constructors points compared to Saintz. Let's see if Im wrong...

So....Charles playing second fiddle to Lewis? Not a chance. Both will be running each other off the track or stealing points from one another. This change is another screw up by Ferrari.
They're pretty fair racers both of them. There will probably be friction, but still fair wheel to wheel racing. Fights will be fought elsewhere I think.
Ferrari isn't bright , because they continue to make horrible decisions. Hamilton is a distraction and out of his prime, Carlos will be trying to embarass Ferrari in a Williams.....😂😂
F1s greatest loss is the commercial and sustainable elements have overtaken the spectacle and to some degree raw driving feel and skill. Too many drs reliant tracks, and reliance on power delivery, excessive tyre management and driving aids over feel and reflex. Like everything that's dumbed down to appeal to the masses
I only wish that with all this "sustainability" struggle, we will reach a point where we can reintroduce the "sustainable" v10 engine and get rid of the electricity, making the cars smaller and more nimble again. This would also highlight the real talent in the drivers. I wouldn't also mind a little competition between more tyre manufacturers. There must be a way to fabricate more durable tyres so that we won't need to watch such races as Monaco 2024... Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅
@jamesevans2702 have you seen the steering wheels compared to the 90s. They can change brake balance corner to corner, differentials, they have engine modes, battery deployment and of course drs (which I actually quite like for some tracks). A Tron minded driver can have the advantage. Teams can decide to deploy more power at the expense of additional wear but brake bias micro management especially can make a big difference. Nico Rosberg talks on this.
I think if Ferrari provide Lewis Hamilton with a car that is fast in a straight line and Lewis trusts to behave itself in the corners, he'll be a very happy bunny indeed! I know you can say that for any driver... but Lewis isn't just any driver. The stats don't lie. He's the best racing driver of all time and is still very much a supreme driving talent. Only a fool would dismiss his skill, experience and abilities. He's going to be pumped and excited to be joining Ferrari for sure. If Ferrari give him a car he's happy with, a car he feels at one with, he'll quickly become that relentless race-winning machine again that made other drivers question whether they're really in the right job. I think he's definitely capable of winning more driver's championship titles... IF Ferrari can deliver the goods.

"2025 has untold possibilities" as informed amidst this banter and as spoken by Eddie Jorden in the register of indifference and some matter of fact Irish style in brogue. Finding myself as an English man in on this mix and much as it loathes me then I too would give best driver to Max and really now off of the back of Eddie's call on Interlagos 2024 which was a race against which I was unable to witness any highlights. So informed, I am not sure we may say and inform the same when considering the period from June 2024 onwards in isolation? Max's talent is increasingly finding itself occluded and Interlagos may well prove to have been a short sunny interval before some thick blanket of grey cloud mediocraty sets in over team whereas, and for McLaren and Ferrari, the clouds have cleared and the sun is more regularly showing its face enabling their star turns to shine 😀 In summary, yes, we have more good reason to look forward to the start of a new F1 season in 2025 than we have since 2021 (if you ask me the mother of all disasters in F1 and the year which cased me to fall out of love and most essentially divorce the category and this following my teenage marriage to the sport which dates back to 1976). "Race of the Year" should have two subcategories: "By Intent" and "Serendipitous". The British Grand Prix wins the first category because the organizers produce a great race due to huge effort and intent. Brazil wins the second due to the completely unpredictable conditions that just fell into place, it could have just as easily been a total disaster a la Spa '21. I /expect/ the British GP to be great every year because of this, and the Brazilian race, who the hell knows?
@@lukeharris2826Cancer of the prostate & bladder which is being treated successfully at the age of 76. He is still just great at this age, especially in these videos with the excellent David Coulthard. Pure magic!
Time will tell. Age does play a role. Lewis looks still like he still has the racepace and racecraft. But his quali-pace seems to have dropped 1% by now. 1% matters in quali. And in qualifying i expect to see the first signs of aging, as the car is driven to the limit then.

So informed, I am not sure we may say and inform the same when considering the period from June 2024 onwards in isolation? Max's talent is increasingly finding itself occluded and Interlagos may well prove to have been a short sunny interval before some thick blanket of grey cloud mediocraty sets in over team whereas, and for McLaren and Ferrari, the clouds have cleared and the sun is more regularly showing its face enabling their star turns to shine 😀
In summary, yes, we have more good reason to look forward to the start of a new F1 season in 2025 than we have since 2021 (if you ask me the mother of all disasters in F1 and the year which cased me to fall out of love and most essentially divorce the category and this following my teenage marriage to the sport which dates back to 1976). Fortunately, I don't feel the same way about my wife. 🤩 Have a great break, guys.
Let's hope you guys are still doing these reviews in 10 years - and let's hope I'm still here!
Forza Lewis. GOAT in a Ferrari, can't get better than that.
Schumacher always be ferrari goat 🐐
Wish Lewis well too
i wish someone would get Eddie a pair of headphones that look ok and fit properly, but on aa serious note Eddie please take care and fight that horrible thing that you have, my father had the same thing but also a dodgy heart valve. fight it EJ you can do it
Hamilton to Ferrari was a "license to print money" for Ferrari that they could not pass up.
Who else could Ferrari have fielded if not Bearman? It was Australia. Who were even there? Kvyat wasn't there probably? Would maybe have needed superlicense renewal? WTH else?
F1 is entertainment for us paying punters at the track and watching at home so anything upsetting the apple cart and causing chaos whilst good hard racing is absolutely fine with me .
🏎🏁👍
Bearman P7 with a Ferrari blew your mind?
The thing about Ferrari is they always try and walk in it.
Lewis' drive at Silverstone in 2008 pisses all over Maxs Brazil drive and its not even close, Eddie needs to wind in the hard on he has for Max.
Ahh yes, Hamilton starting in 4th and winning is now way better than Max‘ drive from 17th to first and winning 20s out front 🤦♂️
@@Felgenfahrt he lapped the entire field up to 2nd place and finished the race 1 minute and 8 secs ahead of 2nd place, do you know what lapped means? the race had prime Alonso and Kimi (he lapped both of them) and prime Massa who he lapped twice. get a grip.
@@rohnnyjotten3985yeah, not all that special if you hardly have any overtaking to do before driving out front, is it?
I‘ll choose someone cutting through the field first and then pumping out fastest laps (by 1.5s margins no less) over going from 4th to 1st every day of the week 👍🏼
@@Felgenfahrt ok, so you don't know what lapped means, thats fine, maybe english is not your 1st language.
@@rohnnyjotten3985 aww, british boy all salty now because someone doesn‘t appreciate his favorite driver as much as he does :(
Good luck Eddie!
Oliver Bearman 🤴
...Marry Christmas everyone 🎄🎅💜
I get being a fan of Carlos, but come on. Eddie has been on this for a year. Get over it already!
I would have done the same thing in a heartbeat. Stop underestimating Lewis and overestimating Carlos.
I wonder if Eddie would have had the same reaction if they kept Carlos but got rid of Charles. But Eddie isn't a close friend of the Leclerc family, is he?
EJ you are the man GRRRReat
Eddie says Ferrari should rip up Lewis's contract now he is saying he can win next season.Never change big man.
both things can be true. To Jordan they can win with lewis but should have kept Carlos because he is capable of winning now and longer into the future
I’ve always thought Ferrari got rid of the wrong driver , leclerc just ain’t it
It seems to me Jordan wont see the end of 2025 season.
This studio is sooooo sad. I’m depressed now.
EJ looks unwell, what have we missed?
He was unwell this year the big C, hes bouncing back.
Ferrari 100% made a bad move swapping Hamilton for sainz!
Sainz is a better driver then an old Lewis
MERCEDES WAS SABOTAGING LEWIS'S CAR. 2023 F1 CHAMPIONSHIP: LEWIS CAME IN 3RD PLACE IN A CRAP CAR. LEWIS HAS ACHIEVED MORE THAN DAVID AND JORDAN PUT TOGETHER. CAN'T WAIT FOR BOTH OF YOU TO EAT YOUR WORDS IN 2025.
Jees cult chil out
My team already has their legend his name is schumacher a god for ferrari forza 🟥
The great Fangio won his maiden 1951 title as a 40-year-old, his second at 43, third at 44, fourth at 45, and fifth at 46. Lewis Hamilton is the fittest he has ever been in his life. In my opinion, Lewis Hamilton and Juan Manuel Fangio are the greatest F1 drivers and have similar driving styles; they find the corners.
Pewis admitted he isn't fast anymore, its taken a couple of seasons for him to realise it even though we could all see it, Fangio's age has nothing to do with modern racing so your comparison is bullshit, oh also pewis isn't the goat either
Lol are you comparing the 40 year olds driver results from THEN to the possibilities of 40 years olds against THE YOUNG GUNS of F1 now? You are funny
Max fan here I agree be fool to rule out Lewis
"Race of the Year" should have two subcategories: "By Intent" and "Serendipitous". The British Grand Prix wins the first category because the organizers produce a great race due to huge effort and intent. Brazil wins the second due to the completely unpredictable conditions that just fell into place, it could have just as easily been a total disaster a la Spa '21. I /expect/ the British GP to be great every year because of this, and the Brazilian race, who the hell knows?
Hamilton is passed it, Sainz was a big costly mistake. No other driver is at the same level as Max, past or present..
Sainz was demolished by leclerc over all seasons in the stats
Irrelevant. The question should be: is Sainz or Hamilton the better option next to Leclerc?
He sitting on the toilet, isn't he ?
Silverstone was the best race of 24.
Brasil was championship won their Silverstone close 2nd brilliant driving
Can someone buy Eddie a burger?!?
He has the big C ffs
Lewis will not be good with Charles
Is Eddie sick? He looks terrible
Yes. Unfortunately the big C 😞
@@lukeharris2826Cancer of the prostate & bladder which is being treated successfully at the age of 76. He is still just great at this age, especially in these videos with the excellent David Coulthard. Pure magic!
Carlos pissed off someone at Santander. It's as simple as that.
Hamilton was handcuffed this past year. The cuffs are off now. He hasn't lost s - - t.
Time will tell. Age does play a role. Lewis looks still like he still has the racepace and racecraft. But his quali-pace seems to have dropped 1% by now. 1% matters in quali. And in qualifying i expect to see the first signs of aging, as the car is driven to the limit then.
@makkert true.
Yes sniff a win Lewis will be their he be fine and i prefer max
Merry Christmas.... Hamilton will probably win the championship with Ferrari. However it is really sad what F did to Carlos, and specially to Charles. Hamilton is not Ferrari material either....
Nah, Max is winning WDC, and constructors is probably not going to happen for ferrari either with those two egos.
@@EntropicExergy Oki.... whatever. Hamilton did the change as he wanted to drive for Ferrari. Ferrari is was 2nd this year. So it might happen. Not that I would be happy that Hamilton wins... 4 sue, I cannot stand him, but it might.
RB was not so good last year, and Max has a priority. His baby might probably due to July or so, I doubt he will be very focus on something else than his child during the last mid of the season. And good for him!.
Charles, will def suffer with Hamilton unfortunately.
Happy holidays EE.
@@silvina6287 Yeah, fer was 2nd, but with a car that will be 95% or 99% new (as they claim themselves), they'll go back to their usual mediocrity. Max does not have any priority in racing but winning. Baby or not, he is fully focused on winning, he can't give it any less than everything he has.
@@EntropicExergy Lets see. I will be 100% happy if Alonso gets the 33...... with that my year will be done. Of course it will be a plus to see Hamilton failing..
@@silvina6287 As much as i like Fernando, i doubt that's going to happen. The AM won't be fast enough compared to the top teams. But i can't wait to see the 25 season, ferrari is going to destroy itself from the inside with all the egos in that team. Going to be great fun to watch.
😮still talking abt Lewis even now..... this just shows how Big Lewis is....u substitute Lewis out of the conversation then u left with nothing interesting to talk about...
F1 will survive fine without max or Lewis get over it
Most attendances last 4 years most watched on TV last 4 years f1 doing fine has been 25 years I was watching.
So u can leave then when Sir Lewis does bye
eddy your wrong, it's not points when you drive a car that is unbeatable, Lando first and foremost.
So what will all the armchair experts say if Ferrari win the constructors next year?
Impossible, this year (2024) has ended.
@@GonzoJohnny DOH!
I'll edit my stupidity out.
@@fablewalls Much better now :)
