You can see hes been through hell. He lost a lot of weight and muscle mass. Im glad he is still here entertaining and annoying people 👏 And Scotsmen never forget a debt🤣 whether your dead or alive! (DC)
I used to see Eddie doing his shopping in nutgrove when it opened first he would be with his wife and his kids they only had 2 at the time happy Christmas to Eddie and Dc from me brax and lando
Hey Eddie, my 87 year old father is a bladder and prostrate cancer survivor…11 years post surgery and chemo and still going strong. Stay positive brother.
Get well Eddie and I think f1 has lost the plot to meny Street races money is not everything just greed far to meny races I personally becoming to lose interest bring back more old school race track mite be good for liberty but for me there killing it for me and probably meny other supporters
EJ - what a complex and also straightforward character. It's taken me a while to work out when he is serious, joking or deliberately provocative and I can now see what a great man he is. Best wishes to you Eddie.
I hope you recover well, Mr. Jordan. My son who is 30 has just been through chemotherapy for hodgkins linphoma. My father in law is also having treatment for cancer. My son said to me that the only thoughts you can allow yourself are positive ones. Healthy thoughts are really important. Take care.
This has been the best podcast I've discovered this year. Please keep up the great work guys and hopefully it will take off and become as popular as it deserves to
EJ story about the dinner seating arrangement. It just shows who has character. Since Max was there early he could have moved but didn’t. Max left the door open but baby George was butt hurt and ran away
Eddie’s take on it was pretty eye opening. It doesn’t make George look great, especially calling Max a “bully” about his “run him into a wall” comments when that’s just normal driver talk. He looks like a little boy going against a grown man.
As someone who followed every session in f1 from the early 90s to now, I felt really exhausted after this season. (And that is just as a fan, I can't imagine it as someone who works in f1) This season had gone for way too long. I always compare it with fastfood.. it's nice once in a while, but eating it everyday is just too much. It really takes the joy out of it.
@@daarom3472I agree, seems there is no consideration for the ordinary football fans anymore. As a 68 year old the prices and amount of games just blow me away. No wonder there is so many injuries with players are expected to play more and more games. I have watched and been an F1 fan for over 40 years it seem to be moving in the same direction. No consideration for the drivers, the teams and most importantly their families.
That’s very sad to hear. My husband was diagnosed and unfortunately it was too late for him to have chemo. I wish you all the best. The season goes on so long now. The mechanics and everyone in the background must be exhausted. I hope everyone has a great rest.
Love these YT presentations. Good luck and best wishes to Eddy with his cancer recovery. David you and Eddy make a great duo. Hope the channel goes from strength to strength. Looking forward to the next video. Aaaarghhh
I 100% agree with DC. The George hissy fit all looked a bit planned, and it came off as being rather pathetic ("handbags at dawn" was the exact thought in my mind). Please, please keep this channel going. It's so hard to find commentary that just says it the way it is!
Hi Eddie, so good to see you on the road to recovery... i had testicular cancer 12 years ago when i was 32 and it was no picnic with 4 chemotherapy sessions but thankfully i made it to the other side so i know kind of what you have been through... i hope you carry on with your recovery and i wish you the best. Great podcast guys keep it up and i hope you both have a wonderful christmas and new year.
This is one of the first times I follow the podcast. Honestly EJ talks about sport, something that disappeared long time ago in the paddock and the sacred rooms of FIA and the various business people that couldn’t care less about sport. I really admire him. THANK YOU!
Each team have a total of 48 races so why don't they say that each driver can only do 16 events, there is a skill in choosing which races to do to maximise the points and there is 3 drivers per team therefore in the championship fight which solves another problem of great talent not being given the full opportunity in F1.
Great show. I had the pleasure of meeting you both in the eighties. I met Eddie at Silverstone through a mutual acquaintance, the late Alfonso Toledano. Also I met David Coulthard in "The Griffin" near Snetterton circuit years later. Best wishes and speedy recovery to the one and only Eddie Jordan.
What do you mean you don't know whether you would there next year wit this podcast. Will be breaking my piggy savings to come to Monaco and get you on a mic. You two are just brilliant. Wishing full recovery to EJ and wonderful Initiative By DC here. Merry Christmas and HNY.
Wishing you well EJ, my fondest memories of F1 come from the bbc era, 2010-2012, with you, DC, Jake and that legendary generation of drivers (hamilton, button, alonso, vettel, webber, raikkonen, massa, rosberg, etc, plus dad of the group michael schumacher) 👑 thats F1 to me
So glad you’re with us Eddie. A special human being. Listening to this show cheers me up no end and I am grateful for that chaps. Hoping you get stronger now Eddie.
I have only one thing to say after this season: Stay and get healthy Mr Jordan. Hope to see you during many more F1 seasons to come! Enjoy the end of the year all in good health and spirits! Thanks David and Mr Jordan.
Fingers crossed for you Eddie, I was luckier, my prostate cancer was found and robotically removed before it could spread, like millions I had no idea how easy it is to detect, I tell anyone who will listen, get checked, get checked regularly, I’m hoping beyond hope you’ll be okay, and be with us for a good long time yet🤞you’re a good man😉
The only good advice he gave was take care of your self. Doctors do not know what cancer is (if they did they would simply treat it with something that fits humans-biological treatment and not some chemical hell) and the chemical therapy is nothing less then killing as much biology in bodies as possible, not something i would recommend to anybody. Glad you are both well tough.
Russell is a company man through and through. He'd make a fantastic lawyer. But he comes off as two faced. Like the kind of guy who'd sue his own mother. Common folks like us generally don't like his kind of men. He is the wrong kind of posh. If he were the gracious, loyal, and steady kind of patrician instead of the cunning, ruthless, and petty kind he'd be liked a whole lot better.
You didn't just hit the nail on the head you sent it through the earth! This is such an accurate description as to why myself and a lot of others dislike him so. I don't hate him and I'm not stupid enough (like some people) to wish harm to befall him I just don't like his personality he gives off snobbishness in the way he speaks
For me this sums up max, ‘cunning, ruthless, and petty kind’. It incongruous for people to accept a well spoken ‘posh guy’ being just as ruthless, but when an entitled, spoilt, arrogant bully MV does it, it’s all good?
im still puzzled why is russell seen as 'two-faced' for arguing in the stewards' room, the stewards' room is as much part of the sport as the track, its like saying someone is two-faced because they race hard on track then act polite in the media, something all drivers do. just because max took it personally or doesn't play this kind of politics doesn't mean the opportunity to use the means to his advantage isn't there for him
Even Toto said in an interview with ORF that 24 race weekends is too much for ALL MECHANICS AND ENGINEERS, the ones that are doing the physical part of F1…. Especially Vegas was impossible for the teams he said. The teams are not happy with the 24 race weekends.
Russell has always been two faced, he's a slimeball. Toto clearly doesn't think he's championship material either, it's why they were courting Verstappen when Red Bull were going through a rough patch.
Slainte agus fad saoil Eddie, and thanks to both of you for an entertaining and amusing commentary that's developing even more personality as it goes along, with the finest of guests.
I love you Mr Jordan, you are strong. You don't need me to tell you that but if by some chance you read this comment that means you said it yourself YOU ARE STRONG and if it ever gets too much please don't feel pressured to perform for us, we all love and support you guys and I'm sure we'll all understand whatever happens stay strong Mr Jordan, big live from Australia
Bless you EJ, you’re a fighter. I was tested earlier this week for prostate, haven’t heard anything yet (no news is good news?!) so fingers crossed it’s clear🤞
Hello my friends at FFS. My name is João Pifre, from Portugal. Eddie, I hope the worst is gone and that you'll be with us for many, many years. Me and David Coulthard will gladly become deaf listening to your growl.
Went to Abu Dhabi in 2019 and the facilities were very impressive. The racing was a bit dull but still worth attending. Fingers crossed Eddie 🤞you are not alone
I didn't know Eddie went thru chemotherapy recently, I'm so glad he's still with us.
Get well Eddie.
You can see hes been through hell. He lost a lot of weight and muscle mass.

I used to see Eddie doing his shopping in nutgrove when it opened first he would be with his wife and his kids they only had 2 at the time happy Christmas to Eddie and Dc from me brax and lando
News to me too, but if he already had that chemical therapy and recovers from it Eddie will be around for a bit.
Hey Eddie, my 87 year old father is a bladder and prostrate cancer survivor…11 years post surgery and chemo and still going strong. Stay positive brother.

Well done Eddie I love your honesty my god your one of a kind you the only person I know has the guts too tell as it is
I believe Hamilton is there for ferrari only one session for his pension thanks it
I agree with Eddie, the tests are only embarrassing to us, the hospital staff have seen thousands. I've had the tests, once it's done it's done..
David, Ferrari and Hamilton = shirt sales
EJ - what a complex and also straightforward character. It's taken me a while to work out when he is serious, joking or deliberately provocative and I can now see what a great man he is. Best wishes to you Eddie.
If personality is a cure, Jordan has no worries.
hear hear!!!
So happy to hear you’ve recovered well EJ. You’re a bloody legend. Hope your recovery continues and look forward to many, many more FFS’s!
EJ's positivity is the best message and medicine for such things. Keep on keeping on.
EJ just heard about your health issues. Love you man, take care and good luck. You will always be a legend
You're an animal EJ! Thank you for putting in the time and especially effort into this podcast. DC you're a star also :D
"Handbags at dawn" Haha classic!
Kinda wanna hug Eddie, stay strong our Irish king! You're very loved and very appreciated for all you've done and still do ❤️
So glad you are both here giving us quality videos on this channel. Best regards with your health Eddie . Keep up the great work.

Let's not forget that Charles drove from the 19th position on the grid to 3rd, the most positions gained during the race.
One of the most positions gained in any race
these guys don’t ever mention anything leclerc does so i’m not surprised
how on earth is Lando vs Max even a discussion for DotY? Max overperformed the material by 60-70 points. Lando underperformed the car by 60-70 points.
As someone who followed every session in f1 from the early 90s to now, I felt really exhausted after this season. Also, the number of 3-4 week breaks between races, they broke the rhythm
agreed. One of the reasons I stopped watching footy was that it became tóó much. F1 was doable but now also is becoming too much.

EJ always fought against the odds
THANKS EJ, DC 👍👍🏁
Thank you both for your insights during the season. Best Christmas to all and hope we'll all have many more years of EJ's growls in years to come

thanks DC and EJ, god bless and happy holidays

I 100% agree with DC. The George hissy fit all looked a bit planned, and it came off as being rather pathetic ("handbags at dawn" was the exact thought in my mind).

planned by whom? Any evidence, or just wild conjecture?
Huge love EJ! Keep fighting ❤

There is so much F1 content around these days but none of them come anywhere close to you guys. Well done as always.
Good to see your on the other side of it EJ, merry Xmas to you and DC, roll on the 25 season
Hello Gentlemen, Fantastic pod cast. Lovely to watch and listen to 👏👏
All the very best to you EJ ……. “ Best Wishes “.

I think it’s more likely that Max said ‘I’m taking back my pole at turn 1 tomorrow, if you turn in on me, you’ll be in the wall’

Best wishes Eddie, I know that situation. You are strong, and we are with you mate.
I really enjoy this channel. Long may it continue. 🙂

Russell has always been two faced, he's a slimeball. Toto clearly doesn't think he's championship material either, it's why they were courting Verstappen when Red Bull were going through a rough patch.
I wonder if the drivers want him to remain their spokesperson if he's SO FRIENDLY with FIA.
@@Cloxxki Not everyone is a politician. I think most drivers dont like to be bothered.
For me, the fact that a rookie can score points in their first race, shows me that the cars are indeed far too easy to drive.
