hi bud thanks for watching yes the media did moan about it but as I said in my video still a good bike to ride I have a few other reviews you may like to watchmark
My dad is 62 owns a 99 blackbird and a 2010 vfr1200. Both of em beasts in their own way. But vfr1200 feels so much better to ride than a hayabusa 08. Maybe not a 200hp easy to modify beast but in matters of materials and geometry Honda knows the game very well. I ride the vfr sometimes and i am 60kgs. Is an amazing machine and feels so flickable and light once it rolls. And as for parts is amazing how many parts of other honda bikes are the same. Honda and mass production i guess haha Great review man
I owned the 2014 model for 6 months before a Wallaby took me out at 90kmh.I loved the bike and was going to keep it but the bike was borderline write off. I did a few long trips and it has a stonking engine. I just bought the VFR1200 X simply based on that phenomenal engine.
I honestly love the look of this bike in all colors but blue. Red being my favorite. The biggest problem I have with the VFR is the exhaust note. Sounds a little too much like a dirt bike. There is an exhaust system that does make the bike sound more like an F1 car, and it's the Raptor exhaust. Unfortunately, I can't find it here in the US. Great review, and thanks for posting!
Thanks for the review Mark. You're right, the 1200 did get a bit of kicking in the reviews when it came out, some of which was quite fair (19l tank on a sports-touring bike? 240kg+ unladen? Stuff-all electronics on Honda's newest and best?), some of which wasn't (much of it from grumpy old VFR faithfuls like myself). IMO Honda themselves contributed because, after years and countless "leaked" design concepts, they turned out a bike that - for all its merits - bore no relationship to previous VFRs. It was also bl00dy expensive new. But secondhand, it's a helluva good bike for the money. I'm not all that fond of the looks myself, but I rode my mate's 1200DCT and the stomp it's got in any gear is addictive. I think it's Honda's version of something like a BMW K1200/ K1300 - if Honda had sold it as that, I think it would've received much better reviews.
Great sports tourer, when touring, range isn’t an issue 160 miles and 25 in reserve, drops a bit when doing the sport bit. 2014 dct with foot shift best quick shifter ever if you don’t like using the buttons, counter steering best way to flick it over. Took new tiger 1200 out and loved it but when back on vfr realised how good it is ,the vfr is over 10 kg heavier but lower to the ground. Good review Mark. Point to point very little can put the power down as well coming out the corners in the real world.
For city driving I am getting just over 200km per fill, but on the highway I was able to get 330 km no problem. This is probably the best bike I have ever driven.

Looking for touristic bike for 2 per. 2 years experience with xj600 diversion. Any ideas? Is this good one?
have a test on one of these then a Yamaha fjr1300 and a triumph trophy then maybe a bmw gs1200, I have videos on all of them on my channel so check them out as they will help
but really it comes down to you and your size and weight as these are all big girls so you will know you have them under you, a big jump for yours but great all round bikes
I still have the trophy and love it for everything as in my video
please take a look bud and like and sub

thx man. I'm 1,9 m high, 100kg. I was also looking for 1200rt but many people say that all those BMW are terrible expensive in service and aren't reliable. Honda VFR, Pan European or Yamaha fjr1300. I'm still not sure.
Bumblebee it’s true about the serving but if older than 3 years you can do the basic services your self like in my videos
The trophy is like the rt if you watch my video on it
Your the right height and weight so all should be fine
Best test ride them so to get the righty bike
As for the pan they are good but hate the rear end of them lol
Xj600 are beautiful bike .love them
I had a vfr 800 53 plate. Will I like this?
Its different all round but all in well worth a that ride
Still a honda and you can pick up a good deal

I had a crosstourer, i sell on last month. This muffler is for crosstourer. Is that compatible?
@@kaSperPT you would have to email them bud but sure they will be able to sort it for you
If not
E bay
Nice
Which is better vfr 1200f or cbr 1000 sp2?
that's two very different bikes bud a sport tourier and a super sports bikes
it would depend on what your after , speed and fun or longer rides with some luggage
Mine looks good in sylver as well
Perhaps English subtitles are in order.
It has them.
Well i cant understand American accent.
Hey Mark, nice Video thanks ;) Abo and like for you!
Look my VFR 1200 F on FRIVDRIVER
Good video but that aftermarket exhaust is awful
I had one very smooth lots of power but as most people say a very heavy bike, i own a mt09 more comfortable and about 70 kilos lighter , im having more fun with a light bike as im 63
I've had many bikes , loads of videos here on my channel
These look good ride well but like I say heavy, tiny tank for a tourier but great value
A lot of power is lost through the drive shaft....these bikes only getting around 140hp at the wheel
Never seen a uk test dyno less than 152bhp. Either way they are quick👍
DAM exhaust
yes bud I know right , thanks for watching
Shame that the exhaust covers the single swingarm. The designer messed up there definitely should of been on other side
ThE GaMEEeEEee how that’s where the cardan is
Drive the thing for crying out loud ...
Sorry I didn’t do a ride! Of this bike just a look around and review
I have many other RIDE out on other bikes you may like to watch on my channel with over 430? Other videos
Why are the British number plates (tags) so ugly ?
never noticed it as lived with them all my life , guess its so the police can identify them and nick you when your speeding lol
thanks for watching
mark
having to push into bends could be under inflated tyres, most Hondas are susceptible/sensitive to tire pressure
no they are fine, it was the last owner who only rode straight so they have a flat spot but as I am riding it they are getting better as I do bank the bike , thanks for the comment bud . mark
feio
I am a Dunlop or Metzler guy - but the PROFILE on Michelin works best for me
170 hp
MNC SAY THE FACTS ARE 1237cc - 160 bhp SO I'M ONLY REPEATING THE FACTS THEY SAY IT HAS!!, I'LL KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR YOUR NEXT REVIEW PALL ..
173HP ?
From 160 to 170 bhp depending on bike or mce specs
Dino 173 as mod
What's yours running ?
@@marksavage but the spec says 173 right? Or has the 2112 model less power then 2015 model?
5000....that's in my range..
great bikes bud worth a test ride
5:13 :)
169hp
160 bhp standard this had a little extra
@@marksavage just checked 170hp. 150 hp at wheel.
@@toneskill different sites give different specs bud
So 169 was a fair review
They are always less to the rear wheel
Many other bike reviews on my channel worth a watch
@@marksavage some say 172hp. I had one for 5 years. a 1200 dct
Jelek beud modelnya, ky cbr250 bagian depan, ky revo 110cc bagian belakang. Nothing special
ok 250 110 and nothing special , that's all I got !!!!!!
It doesn't have gear driven cams ...soo it's kinda not worth anything 😅
