Every single one of us has had a virtual meeting like this one. Kudos to you for adapting and just going with the flow!
Lots of things to think about to rearrange my space! Thank you for posting this video!
Too funny!!! Walking around the hardware store sticking pins in things?!?! LOVE IT!!!!! Are we quilters a determined lot on a mission or what!!! I’m not the only one!!!!! LOL
Your sewing room will be wonderful when you are done. Take your time choosing & get what you really like!
My bamboo floor is indestructible and love it! My mom had cork in her kitchen and dropped items, chair legs dragging etc. damaged it easily but nice for your back where you stand all the time. Laminate is amazing now!
I have hickory laminate flooring and love it. It has a few scratches but unless you study it they don't show. It cleans easily and is more comfortable for my legs and feet when standing than tile. I have pale yellow walls which go well with my white cabinets and do not distract from the colors in the fabric.
I have a Bernina 740, purposely to avoid the temptation of doing embroidery. I purchased a stitch regulator which works beautifully (well, other than the limitations of the user.)
Bottom line, I really like my Bernina and my sewing room which is a bit small but well organized.
Love the piece on your wall behind you!
That is the Spinning Spools project she will start in May 2021
It’s ok when things don’t go as planned it makes you a real person. I enjoy your shows so much.
I had bamboo and as we moved the fridge back into place on the first day the rollers left big marks. This was even with something under it. All the bamboo came out. In my studio we put in vinyl, I was resistant but after having it for several years I still love it. Looks great not like the original stuff at all.
I have cork tiles. It's great. Not so hard to stand on. Easy to care for, damp mop occasionally.
Alex, I just bought your book, "Fabric Shopping" on AQS website. I am interested in what you have to say about it!
I did a light grey.
I'm still learning
My LVP has a cork base.
We’re there any chemicals used to fix the dye?
LVP. Luxury Vinyl Plank.
I saw you then you went black...my son put a vinyl flooring in the bathroom at the cottage, it's like laminate click lock, the back is recycled tires so it's completely water proof, and looks like hand hewned old lumber. I find it not to be hard like my laminate in my house. How did you not say one bad word in a year....lol
Dear Alex - Maybe other members is shot off to watch the quiltshow, just like I am?
I am Pia from Demark, been a member of QUILT SHOW many years, almost from the very beginning. I know its not the right place to ask here - but I cant get through to your staff - as I cant log in, I tried to become a new member and...and....and - after all of this and that, I just want my old account back and a way to pay for my membership.
Its probably due to the new site - but I think its not okay to treat an old member like this - or any member like this! Please help
Why is it important to have your machine go down into your table?
I have a pale grey

Bamboo is susceptible to moisture.

A soft gray will not interfere with the true colors of fabric
