Hi Natalie, I love the idea of little trinket bowls for stitch markers, however all I can se is our cat playing with them, I need a better way to store my notions though, my stitch markers are fine where they are, love your “new look” in your room, have a great week and happy knitting.
Haha oh no! You definitely don't want the cat knocking off any bowls! What about a tackle box sort of plastic divider with a lid. Then you can store it away?
Knitty Natty, Hi Natalie, I repurposed an old wooden sewing box, since my knitting never leaves the house, it houses everything and as I locate another notions pouch those items will go in it too, it has a drawer for none essential items and the top section holds everything I use regularly and it locks.
This was inspirational! It’s so hard to know what odds and ends you will never need when crafting!
That's so true! My mark is usually if I haven't touched it for 5 years, lol!!

I'm inspired to work on my yarn storage. I did give away some of my yarn to the nursing homes in the area. I'm not buying as much and im using a lot of the scraps for smaller projects as not to be wasteful. This is so helpful.

Great organization!! This is something I definitely need to do. I have yarn everywhere and I love my wool but I still have way too much acrylic yarn. I keep hanging on to it thinking I can do a lot more charity knitting. You have inspired me to organize.

I'm right with you on this. I've been cleaning out my craft room all morning. It's now noon and I sat down and saw this video. Kismet. I'm also minimal and find more inspiration with less. I just bought a 16 cube wall unit like you have. It's annoying how full it is. I have to knit faster.

super amazing to see the finished decisions! a hint for wires is to get velcro and strap them to the legs of your new (and amazing) desk! also would you be up to making a video about what yarny supplies you use (favorite needles/hooks, notions you typically use etc. or the technology side with what programs you use?

I have one tote bag I have my project bag and I used it .
All of that cotton yarn would have been good to make a scrappy project. Your yarn room looks great. It is beyond me how you do it all! When you showed Toaster sitting on the stairs he looked like he was in doggie jail. I love me some Toaster! I love watching your decluttering videos, but that is a lot of work. Ugh.
I thought the same about the cotton yarn! But then I've moved it to three different homes over the last 4 years and still haven't use it.. so it was time, lol! We love Toaster too!

If I was you I wouldn't get rid of your tv stand you can keep your Yarn in there.
