Thanks Tim, I just saw a post that specifically stated the parachute hackle should be as long as the whole hook when wrapped on the post. I haven't ever seen a video that specifically stated to use a larger hackle when tying a parachute. I did notice your hackle on this fly did reach the bend in the hook shank. I was messing around, learning how to tie a parachute post. Got done, and thought, “now what?” Then I thought, “ I bet Tim Flagler has a video for that”. And here I am.
tightlinevideo kk I made a brahma bugger with grizzly chickabou as the tail and coq de Leon soft hackle in speckled brown and cought a lot of fish when it's wet the little white on the grizzly triggers the fishes take while the rest of the barred white is covered
