I have to force myself to skip past those videos because the more I clicked them the more the algorithm fed them to me non-stop to the point where I was more obessed with "Hearing from God" than doing what I should be doing. For all the young Christians out there just remember your faith is not and never will be established or reaffirmed by a social media post. I’ve come across those videos as we all have, but pay them no mind. Why? Because I don’t believe when I stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ that He’s going to ask me,” how many IG reels did you watch about me?” Your faith is how you are living your life in close adherence to God’s Word. Everytime I see a video telling me “God needs you to see this” or “Stop scrolling, the lord wants to speak to you”, I always get that guilty feeling that I’m making him disappointed but I thank God this video showed up on the algorithm. being honest, i needed this. its currently 2:03 as of typing this, and i just finished having a mental break down, and asking myself questions like, "Am i going to heaven?" "How are these people so assured of there salvation?" and telling myself, "Im lukewarm," "im going to hell," ect. So true. I used to always finish videos on my social media that were all about God bc I thought to myself that God would be disappointed and I might actually need to hear it. I would always feel the need to hear from other people instead of hearing from God directly. I used to think that everything I saw on social media about God was actually God speaking to me at that exact moment lol but they really aren't. My relationship with God became deeper last year and I started not feeling guilty whenever I skipped videos saying "God wants you to see this" HAHAHA. It feels great once you learn that your relationship with God doesn't depend on consuming every God-related content on social media.

I would constantly click on these videos to the point where they would be recommended every other video. I had to take a step back and remind myself that my relationship with God and Jesus is bigger than these clickbaiters. I still get skeptical sometimes, I really don't know if I should ignore them or not. Those videos got me trippin', bruh. Someone needs to stop them.
The fact that "God wants you to see this" or "God says this" and "You will be punished if you skip" are in my recommendations is downright annoying. Just more false hope for people like me who are tired of being alone and never seeing anything change and 90 percent of the comments on those videos consist of the attractive and strong genetics types of people who make a claim that they prayed one day and the very next they were engaged to be married. That enrages me. I dont need those damn videos or comments throwing in my face and taunting me with something I'll never have or be good enough for. I've finally come to terms with my issues and problems and the fact I'll die alone because im not good enough and those videos are not helpful.
"Your kingdom spouse" very much a concept not in the bible, but occasionally I'll see it in the comment section of one of these weirdo videos like it's something I'm supposed to know about. What??? also you won't die alone no matter what-- because you can reach out and hold God's hand. His love and peace will be there for you no matter what. and we'll all make lots of friends in the next Age I get the "your breakthrough is coming" ones a lot. I am seeing a slight breakthrough but it's not because of those dumb videos, it's because I made a conscious decision on my own to change up my methods, combined with prayer. Those videos would almost have you just sit around waiting... waiting around for the breakthrough. Sometimes the vaguely tell you to cut people off, or God is "removing" people from your life--- but I didn't cut anyone off recently, I just added people. I don't like those videos.

being honest, i needed this. its currently 2:03 as of typing this, and i just finished having a mental break down, and asking myself questions like, "Am i going to heaven?" "How are these people so assured of there salvation?" and telling myself, "Im lukewarm," "im going to hell," ect. I just had to feeling to turn on my laptop, and just put my mouse on a random video before the title OR thumbnail loaded. It was the only christan video. God bless you, and thank you, so, so, much. So true. I used to always finish videos on my social media that were all about God bc I thought to myself that God would be disappointed and I might actually need to hear it. I would always feel the need to hear from other people instead of hearing from God directly. I used to think that everything I saw on social media about God was actually God speaking to me at that exact moment lol but they really aren't. My relationship with God became deeper last year and I started not feeling guilty whenever I skipped videos saying "God wants you to see this" HAHAHA. It feels great once you learn that your relationship with God doesn't depend on consuming every God-related content on social media.
Yeah same and tbh it came to a point where I realized that God is omniscient, He could see the future and know if I will skip a video or not. He can't be beaten 😂 so He'll never mean to send something that I won't see because He knows if it will happen or not already

I would constantly click on these videos to the point where they would be recommended every other video. I had to take a step back and remind myself that my relationship with God and Jesus is bigger than these clickbaiters. I still get skeptical sometimes, I really don't know if I should ignore them or not. Those videos got me trippin', bruh. Someone needs to stop them.

The fact that "God wants you to see this" or "God says this" and "You will be punished if you skip" are in my recommendations is downright annoying. Don't get me wrong I love God and Jesus with all mine heart it's just the type of annoyance that'll make me pass by without a thought and I happen to listen to people who are bout Godly business no strings attached. I skip them because they're all the same. "Your breakthrough is coming. Your kingdom spouse " blah blah blah. Just more false hope for people like me who are tired of being alone and never seeing anything change and 90 percent of the comments on those videos consist of the attractive and strong genetics types of people who make a claim that they prayed one day and the very next they were engaged to be married. That enrages me.
I dont need those damn videos or comments throwing in my face and taunting me with something I'll never have or be good enough for.
I've finally come to terms with my issues and problems and the fact I'll die alone because im not good enough and those videos are not helpful.

I get the "your breakthrough is coming" ones a lot. I am seeing a slight breakthrough but it's not because of those dumb videos, it's because I made a conscious decision on my own to change up my methods, combined with prayer. Those videos would almost have you just sit around waiting... waiting around for the breakthrough. Sometimes the vaguely tell you to cut people off, or God is "removing" people from your life--- but I didn't cut anyone off recently, I just added people.
I don't like those videos.
