- In this video, I cover How to KNOW if you have BLASPHEMED against the Holy Spirit. Matthew 12:30-32: "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. Therefore I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Blasphemy is INTENTIONALLY doing it over and over again without care or remorse for what you’ve done.
You did something wrong. You know it and you care therefore you have not committed the unpardonable sin. Repent and ask God for forgiveness.

If you no longer crave God or feel you need Him, that's the sign. I can honestly say i have never turned from God, although i've sinned as we all have. I am right with God and am grateful for his forgiveness over all my life.

Get someone to help hold you accountable, if you can't turn to God first then you tell them, it'll be embarrassing and you'll be hesitant but one of my best friends has been telling me every time he watches and how embarrassing it is drives him to do it less

READ YOUR BIBLE. It won't make sense at first, but if you spend time in His word, these things will take care of themselves. He will work in you. Romans 12:2 - Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, by reading the Bible.
Romans 8:1 - No condemnation.
Also, the bible says you're already worthy in Christ. Instead of trying to change your behaviour, change the way you see yourself, your identity.

If you’ve truly blasphemed, you will feel proud of it in your mind. If you accidentally think the words ‘I hate God’ but quickly try and erase it out of your mind, its not really blasphemy. Lord Jesus loves you ✝️ ❤️
There is a word for accidental thinking: "intrusive thoughts". It's a far more common issue than people might think. The whole "don't think of pink elephants" and all that.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is simply just never going to God for forgiveness throughout your entire life. It is: “conscious and hardened opposition to the truth.” "because the Spirit is truth" (1 John 5:6)
“Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.” There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss.
So, don’t be worried about thinking you have committed this; it’s a trick from the devil.

Sanctification takes time, by the renewing of the mind, understanding your identity in Christ. You wouldn't want to sin if you're a Christian, but if you do, Repent and move on. Where sin abound, grace abounds more. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. This is all scripture, yet people think oh no, I made a mistake, I've lost my salvation. Doesn't make sense if you understand blood covenants.

I am someone who is struggling a lot right now because I am always filled with guilt and shame because I choose sin and not Christ and at times I do my best to pray but the prayers are all about me, my issues, problems, and how weak I am to change. I don't want to reject Christ but I know I am pushing him and I don't want to. I am backsliding and is having a hard time giving up the things of this world for him, this even includes my family. Now I don't want to get comments about how much Jesus loves me because I already know that but the thing is this, I want to believe and to trust God that he has everything in control. I’m in the exact same situation recently, I’ve been terrified that I’m not good enough to be before God.
A great way to pray and not make it about yourself is to just worship God. Speak of how wonderful he is and how much of a blessing he is, and he will move upon you. When ever I feel bad I try to worship the Lord and he makes me feel better.
Remember what Christ did for us, he made your spirit clean the moment you first came to him. He will set you free from all sinful habits and make you into a mighty soldier in his word, just keep praying and remember Gods sacrifice every time you sin.

It must feel like a chilling, dreadful experience to ever consider blaspheming against God. It would be like having your life sapped out of you, feeling completely vulnerable and having cold sweat, and yet, still choose malice. Great and profound pride and blindness to ever believe a life without God would ever be better than a life with Him. The mere thought is disgusting. That's a position I definitely wouldn't want to find myself in, nor anyone. It must be pretty scary. But God is greater, and we just have to keep being careful and focusing on Him.

I was going to comment something similar, that disgusting feeling when you realized you were wrong in an argument you were confident about/proved wrong about something you're passionate about. That awful gut feeling I know is real and probably would feel like having blaspheming against the holy spirit.

There are two kinds of blasphemy.
Blasphemy, and blasphemy of the holy spirit.
Blasphemy is the outward mocking and rejecting God with words. But this sin can be forgiven, if you sincerely and truthfully repent. The blasphemy of the holy spirit is another thing. It's the rejection of God inwards, and hardening your heart 100%. That's why if you are worried that you committed this sin it means the holy spirit is still working inside you. All of you guys will be in my prayers. ❤✝️

My testimony: I went though a phase in middle school were I thought i knew everything. I thought there was no God no Jesus none of that. Back then i made terrible jokes about God and Jesus. Many to this day I'm too ashamed to even use as an example. I was so ignorant that I didn't care because i didn't think any of it was true. Now years later the LORD has opened my eyes. I see how my ways back then where so wrong and I feel horrible about it. I feared that I would never be forgiven for what I said. Until today. This video 100% came to me for a reason. Because as you said I feel guilt. If i wasn't saved i wouldn't feel that way. Even though I still have anxieties over this subject and will forever feel horrible for what I have done I have comfort in my LORD knowing no matter how I FEEL the lord has forgiven me. Thank you

I'm coming out of a 10 year phase of drinking, smoking weed and using psychedelics like LSD and mushrooms. I was trying to cure PTSD, I may have made it worse. I knew Jesus before I got on drugs. When I was on drugs, I got split down the middle. Half of me rejected him, because the drugs felt good and accepting Jesus was accepting that I was in the wrong. I didn't want to be in the wrong, I wanted to justify my drug use because I didn't want to stop. But the other half of me wouldn't shut up. I was constantly plagued with guilt over what I was doing, how I was starting to treat people, over my lack of prayer, and the blasphemous things I said while intoxicated that I would remember later. It was getting bad, and worse, I saw my friends who were doing the same thing dive deeper and deeper into the occult and eventually break away from each other, some fading into obscurity. It was maddening. I began following the teachings of philosophers, instead of God. I got my power from the universe, instead of God. It was demonic in nature. Demonic power feels strong, but it pushes people away who can feel your vibration change, and it twists your face into something not even your mother could love. I loved the world... I didn't love God.
I'm changing now, and I'm so sorry for the past 10 years. The times I once remembered fondly as being "good times" I remember disdainfully now as each party, trip and smoke sesh pulled me further from grace. My greatest sin is that I destroyed myself, and I gained nothing for it. So now I'm starting over. I threw away my weed pipes, my pens, my grinders and have turned down 3 different offers to smoke with people. I haven't used psychedelics in over a two years, I haven't smoked weed in two days and I'm giving up drinking. I've spent a lot of time reflecting in prayer, I started going to different churches with my friend who walked away from the same things, and we've been engaged in highly biblical conversations as he tries his best to help me cast out all the demons I've gathered across my 10 year hell trip.
I'm giving up porn. I'm turning away from masturbation. I've reduced 90% of my video game time. I cried, a lot. The drugs kept my emotions pent up inside, locked in a cage and cast into darkness. Now they're flowing out of me. I cried out the shame, the guilt, the embarrasment, cried over the times I got taken advantage of. Then I could feel Jesus forgive me. He missed me, he has been waiting for me. Now I cry tears of happiness, that the dark cloud that enshrouded my mind is gone I feel a profound sense of joy and happiness just knowing Jesus is real, that he cares about me, that he never gave up. I'm going to therapy for my addiction and mental health problems. I'm helping around the house again. I'm reading the scripture, taking the lessons to heart and am putting all my effort into repenting. I can see some of my friends starting to take it all more seriously too.
There is salvation in the Lord. And only death in everything else.

Generally speaking: You truly commit the unforgivable sin when in the presence of Christ, when he stands there before you.
Denying God in ignorance alone doesn't make it the unforgivable sin, nor does blaspheming against him, you could spend your entire existence hating God, but if he stands before you and you change your heart, acknowledging your sins- then you'll be forgiven

Please explain what you mean. When I think of eternal suffering which I'd never get used to its pretty scary. Do you mean it that way? Or that the fact that that we dont go to hell shouldnt be our reason of being religious?

@sharkpoos6962 Once you've accepted Christ, there shouldn't be fear of losing your salvation or going to hell. That's the entire reason He came. To free you from the bondage of sin and the fear of going to hell. You are now free to live your life as you please. But once you come to know Jesus, read your bible and have a relationship with Him. You wouldn't want to sin because you'll start to lose your appetite for anything contrary to Gods ways. Yes, sinning as consequences, it always leads to death. But not in-regards to your salvation if you've accepted Jesus. Working out your salvation is about understanding who you are now that you are born again, not about doing good works to get to heaven.

If you have guilt and you feel afraid that means you haven’t. It sounds like you just need to repent and run back to the Lord. He will soften your heart and send the Holy Spirit to dwell within you again ❤

I have a question. One time a few months ago I was in the car mentioning a church I went to, where someone was speaking in tongues. I regret that when I was in that car I had the audacity to say that it may have possibly been something demonic. I dont even like typing what I just said. But now months later I felt an urge to go back to church a few weeks ago, and now I’m scared today because I am thinking about what I said and I just want to know if it is too late. I feel guilt but I think that what I said sounds exactly like blaspheming the Holy Spirit and I am afraid that this is the end. Please tell me if you think that it is too late😢😢😢

It only counts as blasphemy if you truly mean it. A one-off foolish utterance isn't the same as high-handed sin. Remember that Peter denied Christ three times but he was still saved because he repented.

Personally I'm neutral on modern tongue-speaking. I don't speak it myself, but I try not to judge unless they're saying that you must have this ability to be saved, which obviously isn't the case.

I feel like I have given up so much lately. I fear blasphemy because I have become very angry now. The end of the world is here and there is no bride for me, there never was. I have bent over backwards just to meet a girl it is comical. I am invisible all my life. I hope God will have mercy because the wind has left my sails these last few years. I went to Japan and I mingled with the girls of Shinjuku. Knowing now what I know, I realize I have become dangerously like Lots wife, and I am looking back at what appears to be the only place to find happiness now. I hate it... I have prayed all my life for a bride, and now i have to leave the country to even talk to girls it feels like.

i think i accidently committed blasphemy against the holy spirit but it was because my words slipped up but i knew full well of the consequences, but it was because my words slipped up so i don't know.

I had read few Heretic gospels and it made me believe that God was evil and that he made this world just to detain us from spiritual land.
I randomly rejected all these heresies and turned to Father and became more devout and faith full into him and accept his grace.

I also get anexiety and my heart rate increases when i th8nk about it. I mean people have different doctrines regarding this, but what I would recommend is to read it contextually, in context it refers to the Leaders of Israel calling the miracles of Jesus that of a demon, that is the blasphemy of the holy spirit because the holy spirit was doing the miracles behind Jesus as he performed them. Do not be afraid you did not commit the unforgiveable sin since that is only available if Jesus was still here.

When it happens you think you did it and feel condemnation at the realization, but we have to be wise as serpents. While watching I remembered what God said in D&C when Joseph Smith asked why this sin was unforgettable, He explained that it was because those who commit the sin refuse to repent, and if they would repent and turn to Him, He would forgive them.
Remember, Jesus died for all our sins, and He has promised if we turn to Him, repent with all our heart, and live His Gospel, we can be forgiven and find peace in Christ.
I like to remember these teachings when I do or say something that I wish I hadn’t.

Testimony: I had a time where I was being disobedient towards God. Sinning and KNOWING that I was. Not just slipping. I had an inner struggle, and after weeks I finally submitted to Him to take over in the things I tried to be master of. In that same day, I FELT the Holy Spirit and was USED by Him to share the gospel. He even spoke to my spirit that same day, and I asked Him "why if I am unworthy?"

Even i blasphem against God in my past (i think never close to blaspheem the Holy Spirit), but when i remember that, i start to feel remorse and sorrow for what i sayed. That's the key; if you still feel remorse and sorrow for the bad things you'd say to Him or the actions you did, you didn't blaspheem against the Holy Spirit, your Holy Spirit still acting on you because you show remorse for your actions until today and the Lord forgives you and makes you feel peace and love (besides other things). I always felt like I should have known better, though I may have acted in ignorance and I was miserable. I'm glad guilt is a sign now even though it made me feel horrible earlier. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is LORD, and believe in your heart that God rose Him from the dead, then you will be saved(Romans 10:9). If you are saved, then your sins have been forgiven. Jesus loves you friend 💖✨
