I’ve gone from 17:30 to 10:22 on the 2km run time within 2 months but I’m struggling to break the 10 min mark now so I’m going to implement the tips in this video and hope I can get to sub 8 mins within 2 more months so I’m fit enough for paras or at least fit enough to make basic easier for 1 rifles.
smash hill sprints. Trust me. I got down to 9 minutes after smashing those
I dont know that much about exercise but that seems like excellent advice.
thanks kyle really helpful video🤙🏼
Thanks mate 👊
Mate that tempo run Tip is mint 👌 hadn't even thought about it. But 4k in 16 minutes is going to hurt
Nice one mate. Yeah it tough but very rewarding!
Looking good
Loving the advice. Thanks mate. I'm a large fellow ( quite a bit of muscle with the odd chubby bit)... Fitness is up to standards very easily but is there any weight requirements for joining? Cheers mate
Yes mate they use the BMI scale, I believe the highest you can be is 28 however if you have a small waist size you might be able to get a bit higher on there as the BMi scale does not account for muscle mass. Muscle mass is dense so it can have a massive effect on your score 😀
Thanks for watching 👊🏻
I have my assessment on the 9 of September..I found this video very useful..i m not like running
That’s great man good luck. 1 month to work hard 💪🏻
Thanks for the support.
@@KyleSmithFIT I will keep you posted..I follow your channel regularly
@@Fran-iv4fj cool man, thanks.
Yes definitely let me know how it goes. 👍🏻
Lovely video sir, which leg workouts Can I do to build strength on my Lower body.
I would stick with waking lunges (with or without weight), squats and maybe some deadlifts if you have access to a gym.
By running and doing hill reps you will naturally build leg strength.
Thanks for watch mate, appreciate it👊
@@KyleSmithFIT thanks sir
@@noelfuh8153 anytime 👍🏻
When did it become 1.2 mile thats not a mile and half
i have my assessment tomorrow it sucks that it’s still the beep test
I know, a lot of people feel the same way. Good luck 🤞😀
@@KyleSmithFIT i appreciate it mate 👌🏻🤞🏻
I run 3x a week I run a 3mile 2 mile and a 1.2 should I add a speed session?
My 2k time has gone from 9:30 to 8:55 in 6 months
Definitely add a speed session, maybe do what you are doing, take out the 2km run and add one of the speed sessions I spoke about.
Then give your 2km run best effort a go every 2 weeks instead of every week.
I would keep the 3 and 2 mile run nice and steady, possibly start adding some more miles to build it up to 4 and 3 miles.
Hope this helps, the most important thing is your getting it done. 👊
@@KyleSmithFIT cheers
Sir, which syllabus or what kind of questions should i prepare for the mathematics test for the entrance?
Thianpa elementary mathematics zir rawh... Ssc exam vel nen hian a in zul zui lutuk.. Gorkha ho exam question ka en chhin a..
I have not seen the questions, they change everytime but it will be questions based around a GCSE Grade 4. If you google some questions based on that grade you should be fine.
@@KyleSmithFIT Oh, okay Thank You So Much Sir.👍👍 Please do keep in touch for us, you are a blessing for many people here. Thank you for your kindness Sir.👍
@@laltlanhluakhawlhring7542 Yes Sir.👍
Is it still the bleep test. If so when will it change?
Yes it is still the bleep test. I am not sure mate, there has been no information on when it will go back. Will keep you’s posted on when it does go back!
@@KyleSmithFIT Thankyou. A final question when you said anyone should be able to run 1 mile. I’ve been training for 4 months I can do 2km in 12 minutes but even a minute or two in I feel really breathless and I just force myself to push through it is this a normal occurrence. Love the videos
@@ReganJH2 Probably a bad choice of words from myself. Yes “most” people should be able to do a mile and not be too tired if they are going nice and slow. If you have a device to track your heart rate, try to keep the heart rate between 120-140.
Slow runs should be done at an easy pace where you can hold a conversation throughout, the speed workouts are where you get faster!
Hope this explains it ok, it’s quite difficult to get my point across through comments 👊
@@ReganJH2 thanks for the support man 👍🏻👍🏻
@@KyleSmithFIT thanks man. I have about 4 questions so it would be great if you could do a QNA sometime soon if you can fit it into your schedule. Thankyou for the help
When will they take from the commonwealth nations sir?
I’m not sure my friend, I don’t think it is going to be this year. They have already hit their recruiting targets as far as I am aware.
@@KyleSmithFIT okay.. Then lets hope they will be recruiting next year
@@laltlanhluakhawlhring7542 yeah i am hoping so as well! good luck
@@laltlanhluakhawlhring7542 Hope for the Best.
