I've loved 50/50 music since their 1st EP, their dreamy vocals and songs are so refreshing but yet in a different way than NewJeans does for me too, it's a whole different vibe that I also cherish and appreciate too and is very rare in kpop, or at least underrated.
I'm so glad they are finally getting the recognition they deserve with Cupid.
Personally NewJeans and Fifty Fifty are taking the right musical and concept direction to last for a long time and grow bigger and better, good music is winning thanks to them again!

Actually Fifty Fifty debut in November 18 2022 so it’s like IVE debut in December 1st 2021, they will be dominate on the next year rookie as they debut end of year. So Fifty Fifty has a high chance to win Rookie of the year in 2023. I hope they perform Cupid on the award stage, it will be ICONIC.
Fifty Fifty is such an amazing group! Their unique voices and the quality of their music are definitely the things that hook you into this group which is why I'm not too surprised that they stood out musically from other new groups (it's why I can't get any of their songs out of my head!). I hope that the company continues to trust their talent and give them good releases regardless of their album sales (which are looking good with natural growth!)

exactly, all the talk has been about cupid. their other songs haven't gotten much attention, even "higher" which is closer in sound and aesthetic to cupid. i haven't seen much attention to the members or their non-musical content from the kpop community. even stayc got the type of attention with isa and yoon which is very important for even growing a small dedicated fanbase. atleast their next comeback will get attention from the general if they play things right. but for now they're not permanently out of nugudom.

I’m so so proud of my girls, I’ve been a fan since predebut and it truly angered me how underrated them and their music were. Their voices are honestly beautiful, and they are really sweet and seem to really care for each other like family. I REALLY recommend stanning them as a hunnie because they are just amazing 🤩

Their chill, modernized retro-pop sound hits perfectly with both general appeal and specialized tastes.
That combined with the producers distributing lines and subunits into roles according to their vocal colors, as well as the skills of the girls themselves in properly using their voices to fit the lines, roles, and concepts they’re given (or created/helped established) makes for a great girl group with great music. I really hope the best for their success because the girls and their company seem to be making all the right choices and being rewarded for it 💘

They pressed all the right buttons. For better or worse, I think the English version has been a huge boon for their international growth. It is one of the best English versions of a kpop I have heard.

I see a shift now in kpop where vocals seem to be stressed more and it should! FiftyFifty is just that. With Baby Monster coming soon, we could see more. Of course NMixx, Classy, and Craxy are there already. Good times ahead for the industry.

their music is fantastic so far
Their music is so good. They all sound good with and without auto tune or backup vocals. They sound better than a lot of the most popular girl groups. I honestly see a good future for them. They have like 5 songs out and half of the songs are something I would listen to. They’re just different and they’re headed in the right direction. Cupid is literally on the billboards top 100 they’re #50. But I feel like they’ll be more popular outside of Korea. Lovin me could be an OST for some kdrama. All the members seem so mature. I thought they were around my age early to mid 20’s. The person who recruited them didn’t only go for looks but talent as well. And the fact their album was given a 4.5/5 days something. I love how they’re not forced to change their voice but they are made to work with their vocal colors. The way they talk is how they sound in their music.

i agree with you and also think that a lot of people might be riding the "oh they're so popular wave" and completely leave if they don't release music soon. i'm just hoping attrakt doesn't overwork them but they seem to know what they're doing, so only time will tell.
i'd also suggest you get a little farther from the mic. the fast talk and constant gasps for air are kinda anxiety inducing.

Sio and Aran are secretly a twin cuz they both have Jeong as their surname, born in October 2004, both having vocal position. Actually, Saena was also Jeong and 04 but she was born in March. So they are triplets secretly.

I’m hoping what they’re experiencing will be an epic journey. A BTS kinda meteoric rise. But that’s asking too much…lol
I never listened to KPOP, and never liked American pop music either. Decades of Iron Maiden, Metallica, Tool, Slayer, Pantera etc. Most pop is simplistic, and shallow, both lyrically and musically. The first song I heard by Fifty Fifty was Lovin' Me. Their sound is lush and interesting. Aran's voice is rich, and Sio has a crystal clear tone. Saena has a very pretty low register, and then there's Keena. She's magic. The more I dug into her, the more I love her. She sings on the live version of Lovin' Me and I was stunned, thinking that she was just a rapper. Astronaut in the Ocean is outstanding, but she can do so much more.
I'm now a hunnie and I love Fifty Fifty. Keena is hands down, my bias.
