It IS a great show. Debbie Allen did an amazing job with it. But keep in mind that this is an idealized version of reality. Things weren't quite as open, or woke, as they are depicted on this show. I know, I was in college at the time. But, YES, keep enjoying the old shows. They do provide a a sort of window to recent history. : - )

So greatful to have found this show! Lord knows i was even a thought when it was created, but it sure is cool to watch my mommas shows. All the teen celebs are legends to me now, crazy😪

I love this show, it absolutely pushed the head to the surface of what was going on in common day society and helped the generation grow through stigma's and stereotypes. It's a shame that the 90's were about measuring a woman's worth based on whether or not she "had a man." This show was everything!
