I did brakes on my sprinter today and oil and new wipers as it hit 60 degrees today in Boston I installed CQUENCE slotted rotors and ceramics pads as I seem to get more miles than those terrible factory mattallic
It’s probably a boost leak, but the most likely scenario it’s Particulate filter is clogged, on that model it’s held by 2 clamps, just remove it and see how it runs, clean EGR as well
Alejandro Babilonia It can be multiple things that would cause that. Fist of all, is the check engine on? If no check engine is on, more likely a boost problem. Hoses busted or cracked or the intercooler tanks are cracked and leaking pressure.
It could be the turbo Hose . I have to replace it two times for the same reason losing bower. The third time I have to replace the fuel filter for the same reason. On 2005 Sprinter
On the 2006 and older vans, when talking about brakes, I would advise to start with finding out first what type of calipers you have. There are to different style of calipers, Bosch and ATE. The pad will not match and can't be used from one system for other. For example, on my 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500, on the front I have Bosch calipers and on the rear I have ATE. This information is very important, especially if pads are bought online.
If your pads are wearing unevenly from one side tot he other, I would suspect there is something wrong with the system causing it. Likely there is air in that brake line.
It is so funny that you just posted this... I am literally doing a brake change right now!
Lol that’s so cool, btw some footage did not record so I had to do voice over and explain what I did, but it’s easy to do
I'm learning about my 2006 Dodge 3500 T1N from you. Thanks so much!
