Have you ever paired one of these up with your Arrma Felony or Infraction? If so, how do you think this Gyro compared to Arrma's AVC?? I feel like my Felony drives unbelievably str8 for the speeds it reaches. Dont want to give that stability up but Im also tired of having multiple receivers
From what iv seen of mine, the gyro is amazing, have ut on a other car of mine that ad it ix has steering issues made worse by recivers making it return to 0 slowly and not exact, with this it tracks true and works beautifully even at blistering speed
Most expensive receiver is $20. They also have a micro 4 channel reciever for 24th scale. AND, the 14 channel recievers DO bind/work on even the rc4gs.
Ive got on of these my self set up for my drift/touring car and my crawler , its absolutely BOSS and extra Receiver's are cheap enough , Great review 👍👊
When you set up multiple rc’s with different receivers in each with the same transmitter, do you need to bind each time you select a different rc that you have stored? Or does the transmitter know which receiver to transmit to when you select the saved rc?
Much appreciated hope you're doing well, and not bringing any work home with you (mind you they'd be good at decorating and sorting out the lawn!) :-) Stay safe thinking of you! Will try and email, just went out with maxx and wide maxx kit, 10 metres in and diff let's loose..... oh like I do not have enough spannering to do!
Hi Rich thatks for the video, I'm trying to decided between this and the DX5C. I heard you say the Gyro and AVC are about the same thing is that right?
I've just installed a brushless cooling fan that turns on with ch3, and been looking for things to add to my receiver like lights, glitch buster, wifi module, and servo for pop up headlights. I just wish this Transmitter could show speed and temp telemetry
RICH, I would also imagine you could program the E-brake servo on the infraction to gradually lock the E-brake as you use the trigger to slow down the car in order to not use the motor and drain the battery for stopping. We don’t EVER go reverse FULL THROTTLE so we don’t need to worry about the brake locking while driving in reverse.. with the all around channel function adjustments we could creat the perfect breaking.
Get a Y for your battery's to ur esc..of course you'll need the adapter of whatever your battery's & esc r. To go to the xt60's. Thats what I did. So itll read my single 6s. And now my 2 3's
Definetly gonna get one of these. My only wish is that the graphics on the stickers where a bit different. Radiolink looks like RadioShack, which in my opinion wasn't known for high quality rc stuff
I currently have Futaba 4PV and want to do speed runs but the range is abysmal.I had Traxxsas 2.4ghz and it goes up to 200m,had Flysky FS-GT5 and it went up to 250m(loved it), Dumborcx6 was impressive for the price goes up to 400m( only problem is it has some glitch and would drive max out without me doing anything every now and then). The 4PV only goes safely up to 100m which is really not suitable for speed runs although it is a very feature packed radio it seriously lacks range. That's why I purchased this radio and can't wait to get in my hands 600m (wow!!!!),Hope the gyro is great to.
@@DriftomaniacsRC That's my only beef. I so wish they would update to 20 model memory. Before my downsizing, I had 22 vehicles. Use my 6gs for crawlers, & bought the 4gs for my bashers.
The gt5's range at most, is 100 feet. IF u have it's antenna straight up. If the tx antenna is down, I've ran out of range on mine (b4 I sold it), crawling a course.
Fantastic Informative Vid "as always" Rich. Had my eye on this radio since it dropped. Looks like a bargain, well equipped, well priced & aesthetically looks like a higher end piece of kit. TY for sharing. 👍
It's got so much adjustability it's crazy, best thing is to do 'real world' testing, which would bore the hell out of people although I'm gradually getting it all dialed in.
I chose to get the RadioLink RC6GS V2 because it claimed a range of 600 meters and I am building a WLTOYS 124018 buggy with FPV so I thought this having telemetry (RSSI, battery voltage...) would be a great radio. My disappointments: 1- Physical issues: - Radio looks and feels cheap in the hand, plastic feels flimsy, its grip is thin and has no rubber or anything, my plain simple Spektrum DX2E is by far more ergonomical, better built and feels good in the hand. - The DSC plug was off center which looked ugly and there was a large piece of dirt/crap was lodged under the screen glass and there were fingerprints under the glass. So, upon receipt of the radio I had to disassemble it, resolder the DSC connector on the board properly so its hole gets aligned with the hole in the radio body and disassembled the screen to wipe it properly and remove the dirt! 2- Functional issues: - Most disappointing functionality lack for me is the absence of a steering dual rate knob/button. i.e. there is a steering dual rate function in the menu, but you set it and it remains fixed, there is no knob or button to adjust the steering dual rate on the go which is very important to me, during speed runs I lower the rate and when I want to do offroad, more steering is always helpful. - There is no Timer function. - The telemetry car battery voltage reading is off by 0.25 volts. This is sad and unfortunate and now I am looking at getting rid of this radio especially after reading a lot of forums where everybody says the same things and apparently RadioLink don't care about their customers' feedback and won't be doing anything to resolve that. Also if you watch some youtube reviews on this radio, they are all good and positive, typical of paid commercials...
@@michaelcondrey8681 okay, I will record your feedback to our team, follow us channel or website, we will update information after we have new function.
If the telemetry wires are plugged into the receiver it will show vehicle battery voltage on the radio

The xt-60 lead is for the battery telemetry
Great review and awesome remote
Thank you for helping me make up my mind about radio/receiver. Awesome 👏🏽 CONTENT Bravo Rich

Best video explaining the features thanks
Can you set it up for drag racing
Just gone mine today great review
thanks!
Is this radio compatible with a 3s lipo?
Great review. Thanks for all the info especially about the ABS stuff, never knew that. 👍
the named "Digital Servo" is supported by the Radio System?
Ok, I've ordered a RadioLink RC6GS V2, now how do I rain proof/water proof this? Thanks.
A balloon.
How do turn the beeping off lol ..
Has the same issue with the battery telemetry cable plugged in. Tried changing the settings and nothing worked. I gave up on the battery telemetry
Is it good for offroad to
VERY good for crawlers two of the switches are 3 position e.g dig, diffs etc
how about the flysky gt5 compared to the radiolink?
When you set up multiple rc’s with different receivers in each with the same transmitter, do you need to bind each time you select a different rc that you have stored? Or does the transmitter know which receiver to transmit to when you select the saved rc?
There's a few different ways to do it, but NO you don't have to bind everytime... 👍🏼
i have one of these and haven't used it yet. i also have 2 un-used dumbo's and was wondering i can use the receiver that dumbo for this remote?
I have wondered the same thing. Have you found an answer G RC?

Even still while having the 3rd channel for an E-brake feature too? Is that also possible to have it both ways?
The XT-60 wire could achieve vehicle voltage telemetry.
much appreciate that feedback

I’ve heard many good things about radio link . I believe they are owned by Radio Shack.
Kinda. RadioPost (during my sponsored rc career,) RadioPost was 'sponsored'/ owned by radio shack.
Lotta features the radiolink uses are RadioPost.
I Have This Remote Right And Mine is losing range before 300m...It’s A Old Lowe’s Parking Lot I Run In
Watch the aerials they need to be kept apart. Tested it late tonight at 400m light was too poor to go farther
Have YOU updated your transmitter? IF not, u need to.
Radiolink releases new updates every month. Always improving.
