I absolutely love this radio along with the r7fg receiver. When I built my 1/10 I threw one in. And then I bought another to put in my slash. I just picked up another to throw in my 1/24. Multiple receivers on one radio is super convenient
I picked up the v2 radio also. It feels a little better in the hand, and as you noted the new handle buttons are a nice upgrade. Got the Radio, which comes with the newer RG7G Rx, and I purchased the combo that came with a 2nd RG7G Rx. Total cost was 93.00 and some change, shipped to my door from the US Supply. Have a 3s 2350Mah lipo installed in it.
I really like this radio . It is so much better than the radio that came with my 1941 Jeep . I can go Backwards and Forward slowly and not jerk real fast any more . I also like knowing the battery level in the Jeep . I added a Throttle Guard . Hope that will stop my bumping the throttle and getting run over ! HA , HA . It has happened to me Twice working on Jeep . My Bad I Know. All in Good FUN . Love your Vids . Keep UP THE GREAT WORK , AND HAVE FUN ! BEN V.
Was gonna get a Flysky GT5 but was at my local hobby store recently and got a Spektrum DX5C for cars/crawlers/bikes and a DXS for sailboats. Anything that isn’t a DX2 is an upgrade imo. I have 3 or 4 DX2’s and some other RTR radios. Looking forward to replacing all of them with one DX5C. Still want to try FlySky in the future though. It’s weird how hard it is to find a 2 or 3 channel stick transmitter now. They basically don’t exist. Great video as usual.
It’s bigger than one might realize from the info/sales pages. I had to send mine back unused, where I had planned to thumbsteer and it did not work out for my thumb/grip.
I just got this radio and am running my E Revo 2.0 and an Element Ecto. I had to reverse the throttle on my Revo but other than that it works flawlessly. Keep your gyro off for the crawlers :)
Thank you Francis! Love my radiolinks.....I envision lua script style functionality in the future😎 In most cases, Spektrum still doesn’t support Rssi, which has been standard for many years on budget systems😂

Great video. Love ur enthusiasm. Would u be able to show us what channels u have ur trx4 set too and why? That would be really helpful. Thanks again and god bless my friend. 😁👍
First of all congratulating you on your videos, I learn a lot with them. I need help with my RadioLink RC6GS V2 station, I wanted to program the SWD button to power channel 3, Where I have my Crawler lights connected. Thanks in advance, a greeting Antonio
I made a test review of it on my channel (IN SPANISH) and a deep configuration tutorial and my conclusion is that it beats the FS-GT5 for most of actual high-end crawlers like TRX4 or SCX10 III. The switches and options to configure the different channels adapts better to that cars than FS-GT5. I have both of them (FS-GT5 on my wife's element, and RC6GS v2 on my TRX4) and for me is a clear winner!
ALL THE WAY ALL AMERICAN AIRBORNE ! I am using this radio with my 1941 JEEP with 82 AA Troop Action Figures ! Loving This Jeep , Bring back Fond Memories of Younger Days . BEN V.
I've been away from RC completely for 5 years now. Getting back in now, Jan/Feb 2022. My interests are crawling, short track play and race, and general bashing. My old Airtronics/sanwa is a good transmitter but biggest pet peeve is No Backlight on LCD screen! Hate that. Also receivers were getting hard to find and expensive back in 2017. Do y'all think this radio in the vid is a viable replacement option for my entire collection? I've got about 10 vehicles now and have my eyes on several new models as well. Any input is much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
Hi, you mean RC6GS V2 is can bind with many receivers at same time? Yes, it can works with many receivers at same time. RC6GS V2 support seed ID function, you could specify any one receiver to work. (up to support 10 unit)
Yes mate I have the v1 and linked all 5 of my cars to it Xmaxx 8s DBXLE, Infraction, Outcast Traxxas Slash and works absolutely phenomenal. Love the range of this thing.
Dumbo 6x only 35bucks i know thy cheap and the name but i changed all my arrmas to the dumbo i must say the dumbo rc is so much better than stock ,super fast response and range is awsome iv had good luck with them dont know if they are what your looking for , they are great replacements for me im happy ,
Can someone help me I'm having a problem with my connection my bars are dropping really early in the run as I'm trying to do Street runs on a 6s typhon
The 6 batteries is the one turn off for me. My AA chargers are all 4 slots and as a photographer everything I use with AA is 4 slots. It would mess with my mojo so bad. Maybe I just need to get a battery pack for it.
RC Review, which ones? Traxxas mainly has one that looks semi-modern. And any spektrum being sold looks better then this one.... not hating the radio link, just wish it looked better... thank you for the video, keep it up! :)
I bought this radio but i have problem with the GYRO, it seems to work backwards🤷♂️ no matter what i do... i drive forward the car just is all over the place, i reverse it goes straight line! I already sent the buyer on ebay but im still waiting for soulution.
"Modern Vintage"! I'll stick to my Flysky radios. 600 meters range, for what? Not sure how that is a valid feature, kinda pointless engineering for the intended purpose. I like simple, the Flysky GT5 gets my vote. That radio just looks antiquated, and clunky. Somebody will buy it, just not me. The threaded hole in the top is to mount a telescope?
Sure. Personal preference is good. Good to know exactly what you're getting for the money though. Sometimes, extra receivers cost as much as these capable complete radios.

According to RadioLink on a recent post on RC Groups, the R8F receiver will give you about 800 meters of range for about $23!! Thanks for the video.
After seeing this video, I’m saving up for a V2 after I purchase my first RC car (after a 20 year break). Thanks for the video!
Glad I could help!

Thanks for the regular videos! Great informative content, great to see the highly technical/analytical side of RCs
Glad you enjoy it! Hard to pump these out regularly so appreciate the support.

Great review love Radiolink RC6GS Cruise control and vehicle voltage telemetry function.
I just bought a spektrum dx5 rugged and I love it.
Pretty good one! Great outside design.
It’s bigger than one might realize from the info/sales pages. I had to send mine back unused, where I had planned to thumbsteer and it did not work out for my thumb/grip.
The v1 works great. I may have to look into the v2.
OT. Can I just say how much I admire those driveshaft angles...?

Like your video style. Thanks for the info brother. 👍
Man still love my V1 so much, but this v2 us tempting, I am going to wait and see if they will come out with a redesign radio.

Right on. Much appreciated.
I brought this the other day I didn't know it was the V2 one lol. But yea this a great radio running my outcast 4s with it and having a blast.
For fast, powerful vehicles, this is ideal.
Love the hat, hope you're still riding!
No longer everyday. Every other day!!!! Big rides.
That logo sure looks like RadioShack. 🙄
Would not surprise me to find the parent company is TANDY. They are still around, even if Radio Schwack is gone.

Great vid again 👍😎
Awesome information thanks a lot :)
you can also run 8v thru these receivers ....love me some radiolink
I ordered four of these, and 10 R7FG receivers for my RTR's... I'll have to work with them for a while to decide if it will replace my DX5 Rugged.

sha zam!!!!
Will you be reviewing the FlySky Noble NB4? It got updated to 8 channels with a firmware update and the value looks incredible for under $200.
Oh man, we'll try to ge that gem.

What's a good waterproof/resistant controller. Yeah I go out in the rain...a lot. Yeah rc'ing in the rain is awesome :)
Does it have a 4WS option/menu?
Hi, we don't have it at this time.
How about that "glitch" the car runing without you applying throttle. Was a radio/transmitter fault or ESC?
Nice review. How does it compare to Flysky Noble NB4? Yes it is a 4 channel, but with another receiver it's a 8 channel radio with telemetry.
...with 3ms response time
It is *five* football fields when you think about it. ;)
How to unbind the transmitter if you setup brake and throttle the opposite way
Just turn off the radio and press bind button, they will be clear bind record!
652 yards. Holy smokes that’s one awesome radio! Can these multi bind?
Hi, you mean RC6GS V2 is can bind with many receivers at same time? Yes, it can works with many receivers at same time.
RC6GS V2 support seed ID function, you could specify any one receiver to work. (up to support 10 unit)
Radiolink well that settles it.. I’ve got 10 RC’s that need one controller. Thank you! 🙏🏻 💯
Is this v2 worth it for basher vehicle and track vehicle...can you link multiple r/c to just that one remote?
Yes mate I have the v1 and linked all 5 of my cars to it Xmaxx 8s DBXLE, Infraction, Outcast Traxxas Slash and works absolutely phenomenal. Love the range of this thing.
Need a good replacement remote for my trx6x6 can make ur recommendation for a budget conscious consumer?

My question is? Does work on racing tourcars?🤔
Long time ago, used to race a bit. Lost my local track though so i quit.
And yes, this Radiolink is ideal for touring cars.
@@RCReviewChannel thank you, i knew this would work! and now i am very happy.

I swapped out the 6AA battery tray, and use a 2s 1700 mah lipo. It actually supports up to 3s, but I find thoes to be too thick.
What if I want to crawl 700 meter away?
Can you make a video on the best 50 Dalla rc car controller

Hi
I wish it didn’t look like it was from 2003...
To me that is a plus, I don't like the spacecraft-ish look of new transmitters
traxxas and spectrum do that too.

Hi, you could contact us to address it, and did press twice of 1 second of the bind button to change the Gyro reverse

Will it take a lipo pack?
Most definitely. There's a JST connector and there's configurable lipo cut-off built in.
Hi
I still like the flysky more the radiolink is just so bulky for no reason
does this comes with a fail safe?
Yes, you could set any channel on F/S menu
It is ok for drift rc car?
Yes, of course, there is gyro function in R7FG receiver, the gyro sensitivity can be adjustment by transmitter VR channel.
It’s nice but I’m no fan of chrome wheel radio y preferred black.
yup. The industrial design on this is not first-rate. Flysky GT5 is another option.
did they fix the gyro issues?

Camera mount
@@BradHedges you don't understand sarcasm? With a 600 meter range you will need a telescope to see what you are driving, hence the comment!

Spektrums are overpriced crap. To this day the only radio to fall apart on me and I've owned FlySky, FrSky, Futaba, and Sanwa as well.
Your crazy to think spectrum is bad. Spectrum is king in my county!
Futaba would be my choice but there is a lot of competition.
Futaba radios seem a bit over priced for a 4 chanel. There nice though.
