Browning BAR .308 Carbine... First Shot Sight-In Results

2 inch group at 100 yards with a 1500 dollar rifle with a large scope is not what I would call decent accuracy, I shoot 3 inch groups offhand with aperture sights on my 30 30.
I did have a BLR in 358 that would shoot half inch groups off a bench with a 4 power scope.

Try better ammo . I have 4 BARs and all shoot .75 inch groups or better when you find the ammo the rifle likes.
