DC can’t go 1 event without having the multiverse being threatened
Its a pretty fragile construct
That's literally because of Perpetua, the multiverse she made/envisioned is very fragile and her 'Whispers' cause Crisis events to happen. Now that Perpetua is alive and well, only her drath can put a permament end to Crisis events.
DC is stuck in the 90's.

This is such a cool idea. It would be cool if he fought Darkseid in this state. Only thing about it is the design. Doesn't look all that much different from his regular costume in the thumbnail.

@@heartlesschaos8796 I'm with ya there. It was really cool in the first Metal series. A lot of funny nods and easter eggs, but it made sense in the overall world/timeline? This seems like way too out there an elseworld that they tried to fit into the mainline world, like a square peg in a round hole

I'm so happy Scott Snyder was able to go batshit crazy with this series and I can't imagen how exciting it must be for him to have free rein to do what ever he wants with it.
The different batmen from the dark multiverses is such a cool idea. But being honest. There would really be no way to stop that. I mean, you have a batmanhatton a darkseid knight and a doomsday Batman. Just those three alone would be almost unstoppable but then throw in the rest. How could you stop that? Without any powers Batman is one of the top strategic minds in all of comicdom. Okay let's just say Batman had the power of multiple man. An army of original recipe batmen would be a problem but then in this story each one has powers. Just unstoppable. What I would like to see though is a constentine Batman. Now I think that would be super cool.

Also dc: doesn’t make origins of these characters, but origins of baby Batman, the robin king, b-rex, and Batman/monster truck

Death Metal is slowly just becoming a story I wrote when I was 7.
"Oh man! What if Batman was Brainiac! OH! What if Batman was a Silver Surfer! OHHHH! What if Batman was Darkseid?!"
Just Some Guy with a Mustache The Dark Multiverses were already stupid because of Batman Who Laughs.
Batman who laughs is actually the weakest of all Batmen if you think about it.
MOST comic books characters could conceivably beat Batman who Laughs if he didn’t have Batman’s metapower of “Beating everyone with prep time,” and being able to do it off camera.
What are Batman’s advantages? His physical prowess and dedication to his own physical health and muscle development.
Batman has an incredible training routine (that you can see in The Batman Files Book), on Wednesday, he runs 20 miles in one hour.. And it’s a off-day !
This training is Impossible for the Batman Who Laughs to keep up with in his current state, which is obvious from just looking at the Batman Who Laughs who has the Joker’s emaciated physique. One punch from Batman would kill him. His legs are so thin they look like they would snap from one kick from Batman. And Batman has an organized mental state and deductive that Batman who laughs and every Metal Batmens can’t keep up... Since, you know... They’re all insane !

I'd go with the idea of his being protected by the black lantern ring, myself, and his comment about a bat blocker was bravado, playing on his reputation for 'branding'.
Maybe Batman is the equivalent of King from One Punch Man?
@Darth Pancake Studios in this instance, Darkfather specifically references the gun as having been a modified version of the one Batman was shot with.
But yes, originally it was the Omega beams.
Personally, I'm thinking that's not OUR Batman, but a Dark Multiverse Batman who went uncorrupted.

It could’ve been due to the “truth” Clark was talking about if that “truth” wasn’t referring to the black lantern ring and how it would eventually possess batman the more he used it

While death metal does have its ridiculous and crazy moments I’m freaking loving it. Seeing all these evil Batmen making me think of each And every individual origin. While it’s a lot of batmen remember they were selected by the one who laughs who would only choose the most capable and that would be other batmen
Imagine if we have a Avengers Endgame scene but with every single GOOD Bat-Man like DCAMU Bat-Man or Bat-Man Beyond that would be EPIC as Hell dude!

This issue was rad but Snyder totally messed up the Darkfather gun part. Darkseid never used a gun in Final Crisis, Batman did. Darkseid shot him with his Omega Beams sending Bruce back in time through all the timelines in the Return of Bruce Wayne mini series. Not sure what the disconnect was here but the remainder of the issue more than makes up for it. Really digging Death Metal and freaking Robin King is pure evil. I'm wondering if he turns on The Batman who Laughs in the end. Great update Arris.

Hey Variant ..while unrelatedly am a Long time fan ..probably for about four -five years now..(99.99% u probably won't see this or bring this up but I try..at least),so I would love if you could bring this up in your next video(or even a podcast) if you could about the overexposure of batman ,and how it gotten to the point where the character, logic and certain storylines(i.e. dark knights metal and death metal) has become just ridiculously and almost tiring. How it affects other characters not getting their due or respect.
Please please do a recap of everything that happened since the rebirth I have not been fallowing comics and I thank a lot of people get confused about it too

I honestly forget what the series was called but I just remembered finding it funny and thought about the duo today to sadly realize there was not video on them! Their not a very common topic so I don’t expect many other people to be interested... but maybe?
