- dryo got a killing machine. to be totally honest, I love the danielsan memorial kick. it's hilarious. but, the kick and tail swipe are too strong. I don't know the numbers, but, it feels like 80-100 biteforce each. therefore I guess this won't last long and recommend you to play dryosan as long as you can ;-)

@@da.mombie Ikr! Burrow Will be so much better! But i think the devs not even gonna consider it. Because, they tends to prefer the realism to the extreme. And we know that dryosaurus is not built for digging, unlike those cynodont or other synapsids in triassic period
@@temujinchannel8584 the burrow will come and even get an upgrade to the Legacy version. Kissen confirmed that a couple of times and after I didn't hear much about it for a long time, they even mentioned it in one of the recent dev blogs. at least they said something like they do or did some work on the burrow
Dryo was never meant to fight back, there's a reason it'll be getting burrows. Somehow you think it's normal for a dryo to be demolishing an herrera with a few hits.

To anyone wondering, ye they are working on burrowing, hoping for a more advanced beasts of bermuda burrowing, where you can dig tunnels. I hope dryos will be able to nest in burrows
Kissen was talking of an upgraded burrow to Legacy. I was hoping for tunnels or at least multiple exits, but, I don't what they will actually look like. anyway, can't wait for them and also hope we can nest inside
It was really fun to see all the dinos underestimate Dryo and they got their ass kicked! I didn't know that Dryo is stronger now lol

The Devs do have a sense of humor at times adding in easter eggs (or Xmas gifts), hiding abilities or features from us, letting us discover it for our selves
Herrera can one-shot a Dryo from a tree attack, which is what it is supposed to do. I don't think Dryo deserves to be nerfed just because a herrera decides to fight out of its element. Also, the tail whip and kick are stationary, Dryo can't even use them to hunt down other things.

Exactly lmao. It’s herras fault for being too cocky and thinking it could take an animal only slightly lighter than itself on the ground
@@theotheseaeagle Nah that's the devs fault for making a weak little dryo tail somehow do more damage than the teeth and claws on a creature that is quite a bit bigger.
@@colecampbell1906 no honestly this is fairly realistic. most herbivorous creatures, especially IRL, are equipped with enough firepower to absolutely DESTROY most things attacking it if its self defense as they are not hunters. There are videos of zebra crushing the skull of a lion because it got a good kick in and videos of cows, rams, and horses killing or seriously hurting wolves (even in packs), cougars, snakes, among other animals hunting them.
A lot of this also has to do with the assumption that prey animals aren't as intelligent as carnivorous hunting animals. The hunters usually back off if they think the kill and meal is not worth the energy spent actively hunting and the fight that ensues.
Dryo is fun to play as, but now almost every dryo player and now playing Galli , since it's faster, but I still like dryo better. Great vid , love the vids you do on dryos(◕ヮ◕)*.✧

You can kill the ghost dilos before they attack, just attack as they spawn

Herrera can take down dryo in one leap from a tree and they still tried to facetank, it was funny to see dryo take town the two new mad cats of The Isle, even if only juveniles!
it was tough to ambush me on the wall without a tree nearby they underestimated (like myself) the new power of dryo. they were no juvies for sure. I don't think they were fully grown, but, about as big as me dryo. dryo weighs 130 kg, adult herra 170 kg. so, I guess they were late sub or early adult. they could have been low on health (starving) tho.
I was also referring to the dilos! I thought they might have been juveniles since they are quite large when fully grown :) @@da.mombie

Dryo has been oppressed for far too long. He now shows his true power.
They can nerf the tail but the kick should stay somewhat strong.
don't get me wrong, I love it but, I have a feeling they will nerf at least the tail soon. the kick is something you have to stand still and also face tank the other, so, fair enough. but, the tail does seem to do the same or almost the same amount damage. which is brutal vs everyone chasing you and trying to bite you from behind. I might be wrong tho. just my first impression

Pro tip, You can use the dodge forward as a speed boost when walking a long way, can really make up time on long travels

Oh I wasn't aware of that! it's good but not incredible I would have preferred that they worked on that mechanics to make burrows, they had promised it at the beginning of Evrima 2 years later we have new attacks but not the special ability which made it so fun to play on legacy too bad
yeah, I would have preferred the burrow, too. even tho, a burrow with the many little predators who can enter (other than in Legacy), would be a tough place to fight for dryo with the bite only. so, I hope it was step one of the burrow mechanics. dryo's preparation if you like

the actual dryo is for sure something to think twice for any predator of it's size

A dryo kept killing my friends and me as herreras. 😆I was wondering why on your teno video you would say that's just a hallucination and didn't try to kill the fake dilos. I guess you didn't know they did damage. That's how the venom works. If you don't get bit by any of them then you won't take damage from the venom. It was good to see your dryo get some love and be the killing machine it was destined to be lol.
they didn't in the teno video. or barely at least. I checked my health a couple of times and never saw an impact. even after about 3-4 bites of them. BUT, the fake dilos mostly bit the tip of me tail, so, maybe that's why I didn't notice any damage. at the dryo tho, I noticed anyway, karate dryo is a beast and I will stay away from them for now as a herra
Dryos having fun, until an Herrera comes along. Hanging around the fence, until a body slam fall into their place. Away from Dilos they think to be, not knowing Herrera lurks a few feet.
herra needs the right time and place, which will not often be the case

I couldn't tell if those Herrera's were fully grown. They didn't look it. It hard to tell sometimes. But regardless. They went down like a sack of spuds. And the look on the faces of the crocs.

but, this kick is no kung fu, it's Miyagi Do karate. more specific it's called the crane kick

what are the controls for the kick? the tail swipe is alt left click but i cant seem to find the kick
the kick is alt and left mouse. or was it even only left mouse? can't say. one of those. BUT, you have to stand still and look infront of you. as soon as you look 45° to one side you bite and if you look more than 90° to either side you tail swipe.

Wow, I was shocked you could kill the dilo with the kick I also didn't see the dark dilo during the chase till you ran right into it Holy wow 2 tail slaps killing a herra is ... crazy. I wonder if it had been starving? Our god dryo might need a little balancing haha

I would not think Dryo deserves a nerf it got buffed for reason and if they find the stuff too strong then they made a poor job. They possible playtested it before released so got some info what they can do now. Still a burrowing mechanic would be good for them and then they basically a complete creatures. Now it's time to buff my Hypsi!
a playtest and the reality of PVP are two VERY different things I would have preferred the burrow, but, I also like the new moves. but, I think they are too strong. at least that's my first impression. we will see tho

it will return, but, nobody knows when. in the december dev blog they said they are working on it or did some work on it, so, I have hopes it will arrive 2024, but, again, nobody knows when by now :/
Is it just me or do Dryo and Troodon have better nightvision than Dilo?
didn't play troodon recently, but yeah, it feels like dryo has a better NV than dilo ^^

@@Birandoo Kissen (dev) also said the burrow system will become an upgrade to the Legacy version. this info was more than a year ago tho. she didn't write what exactly will be changed, but, I am hoping for a kind of tunnel system or at least 2-3 different entrances to the main cave.

brutal damage. oneshot a ptera means at least 50, twoshot a herra probably means even 70-80 biteforce for tail and kick. that's crazy if it's true and I don't miss anything here
How to do the tail hit? And the kick hit with dryo ?
it depends on your main settings. if you go to the settings and to the gameplay tab, then you will find "Manual ALT attack". personally I have activated this setting.
if you have activated it, then you can kick as teno by pressing RMB and tail slam if you hold the ALT key and press RMB.
dryo' kick is holding ALT and clicking LMB. you have to look straight forward tho. if you look back, then you do a tail swipe. if you look to the side, then you do a bite.

Hei man, How did you lock your FPS to 60?? I can see it stays still all time at 60 FPS
you can limit them in the settings. I limit them to 60 because I also record with 60 FPS. the footage has the best quality if the game and recording have the same FPS.
I hope they dont nerf dryo its not actually that strong its just a matter of not face tanking it if your not bigger then it, herra can still one shot it with a drop, it’s basically just smaller galli now
I wouldn't mind if it keeps like that. but, we are talking of being able to fight almost an adult omni. the tail does too many damage. if you hunt me than you will facetank me tail and I get only tail bites. the kick is different. you have to stand still, are pretty open/weak to a pounce or anything. but, the tail, dunno. might be wrong. just my first impression. we will see
@@da.mombie definitely should not be able to face tank an omni or even get close lol maybe just a minor nerf, i just dont want it to be nerfed into the ground and go back to the way it was

I think they should switch the kick and alt dodge so you can at least kick while running like the Gali or just remove the dodge altogether 😂
I don't know, to me dryo will always be a runaway. it offers the most fun in chase in my opinion. it's nice to be able to fight back vs tiny omnis or so, but, in general I prefer to get chased by a carno or an adult omni

I wanted to play it a few month ago. because I like the idea of the game, but, I don't think the game has a future. everything I saw looked worse with every update :/

I may have another look at animalia tho. I watched Laacer's videos until about 6 month ago and it did look like it develops backwards instead of becoming better. people complained more and more with every new patch back then.

in my opinion dryo isn't supposed to fight anyway. to me it's a runaway. but, I had a lot of fun with this dryo and will for sure enjoy dryosan as long as it lasts
