    ello everyone ♥
    sorry for the bad quality and sound fluctuations. I had troubles to make it, because my PC often ran hot and I had to turn it off to recover. so, I hadn't as much time for the quality control and also not enough time for the perfect wording. I hope you got my points tho and it may even help some people to better understand their decisions and the direction of the game in general.
    the good news is, my PC got fixed meanwhile and runs without problems again

    I've been playing the isle for 8 years. I will probably be playing 8+ years from now. I will stand by this game and its development until either I die or it dies. It's been rough for sure, but it's also been a great experience. I think what would really be amazing if the devs opened up limited modding abilities to the community. Not to the extent that legacy allowed, but things like maps and skins would be neat. Just a thought.

      till the bitter end! I like that
      mods will come at some point anyway. I also understand why they didn't implement them by now. you could see it best in PoT. mod quetzl felt like thala while flying, because the modder only had this fly mechanics to use at this point. many tools are still missing for the isle dinos. like, if a modder who would've made a trike one month ago, then he/she wouldn't had the chance to add sparring back then. any climbing dino wouldn't have had the chance to climb before herra and the mechanics arrived. honestly, I think mod dinos would feel unfinished at the moment. once every mechanic is in the game, modder will have a way better platform to design dinos imo.
      but yeah, skins and maps would probably be already possible

Right now I'm slightly disappointed in its performance and the decision the Devs made of working on Rex and Trike instead of much needed smaller to medium tiers more. But maybe they'll open their eyes soon and work on what actually matters and wont ruin the already fragile balancing this game has.

      yes it is and also don't say that there aren't frustrating times. some updates are terrible in between. but, I didn't play a single alpha which hadn't terrible updates in between. I had to stop playing the ark alpha, because it was unplayable. it had rubber banding with a 10 minutes!!! loop. you played, chopped a lot of trees and suddenly you were 10 minutes back in time without having chopped one of those trees. over and over again for more than 2 weeks in a row. you couldn't make any progress at all anymore.
      to be fair to ark, they reacted a little quicker with bug fix patches than the isle devs. but, they also were a slightly bigger studio as far as I remember. anyway tho, it's alpha business as usual. there are for sure things you can criticize about the isle, but, many things people complain about are down to alpha and the wrong expectation of what type of game the isle is aiming to be.

    for all those struggling to learn how to grow to 100% without being afk or using meta to survive, I am building highly detailed tutorial for you all, with sped up continuous gameplay throughout the life of the dino, from baby to full grown solo, explaining all the techniques I use to grow, how to troubleshoot bugs, how to read UI, how to find food, either ai or players, and tactics to ensure greater chances of survival. The tools aren't hacks or cheap play styles, this will help you think for yourself, even with ever changing mechanics because mechanics don't effect the methods of play you should use to survive, you will only need to adjust to the mechanics.
    first tutorial will be with ptera, as its the best for beginners needing to learn the map and basics of the game. next will be steggo.
    hopefully this will help confirm that unless its a bug, its player error. and player error happens 8/10 times. you just dont want to admit it. but ill extend my olive branch to you beginners so you don't have to suffer thousands of deaths to understand the game. ill post first vid next week.

    Even when the devs give very valid reasons as to why some things are the way they are.. people still don't listen. For example, the devs said that before then can just start making dinosaurs, they need to get all the major mechanics that will effect every dino in game working. They spent time working on bone break, pounce, gore, grapple and sparring and a lot other major mechanics so that they didn't have to worry about it making new dinos. The devs even said that after this.. they could start getting a lot more dinosaurs out, and people still don't listen and complain about not enough dinos. We got 6 dinos in 2023 alone(i think) and that's before all the major mechanics are done.. I'm sure they will be getting a lot more dinos out in the future if people are just patient.

    It takes critical thinking and a tough skin to like/play games in development. I actually have several games I'm playing that are in Alpha stages. You just have to learn to set a game down if something is going sideways with it (lag, fatal errors, long update schedules). I'll leave a game for a month or so sometimes while the Devs iron out the wrinkles, or if I'm frustrated from waiting on a new playable or feature. The Long Dark has the same issues, and I love it just as much as I love the Isle. Respect the process people :)

    • @da.mombie
      @da.mombie 4 месяца назад

      well said. first of all you have to have the mindset for alpha and accept that there are times where it looks rather worse than better. like you said, best to move on in this time. even more, I also enjoy coming back after months, even years and being surprised by the progress. I didn't play star citizen between 2017 and 2023 and was amazed of the progress. while others who played it all the time were probably annoyed about the slow progress
      the long dark? jeez, I played that 5-6 years ago? even longer? was the time where I also played the forest. is tld still alpha? didn't check it out for a while, as I have uninstalled games disabled in my steam list

    The most fun I've had in the isle was honestly with the terrain a lot of the time. If they give us the tools (enough stam for certain small dinos with a high enough jump) then we can use them to climb around and use the terrain in interesting ways in combat, fleeing, just having fun or nesting.
    It's so fun to be an agile little thing that can jump around for me. When ptera was just released I would be a sub Utah and climb up to where they were nesting or jump down into some rock crevaces to sneak attack them and that was just amazing! Worked especially good in places with a waterfall to mask your noise.
    Very sad that hypsie doesn't have good stamina regeneration or stamina in general right now as far as I know. It doesn't have a lot, but these fun little aspects of it were good enough :(
    I hope they just add more terrain things. Like some interactable terrain, other than eating and drinking, like pushing things around or floods (which they will add, yay)

    • @da.mombie
      @da.mombie 3 месяца назад +1

      honestly, I am a little afraid of that. as you said, they want to add floods, spoke about forest fires or even volcanos once and also said that the likes of rex will be able to crush trees and fences. which sounds great at first, but, this will need so many server resources. they are passionate and have good ideas. but still they ain't and probably never will be the perfect code writers. as more such things will be implemented as better should be the server code to avoid thousands of issues with the performance. I can't say how much I hope that I am wrong on this one. but, my only worry about this game is that they want more than they can handle

    performance is night and day, are there stutters, yes, does performance dip when there are tons of bodies, meat chunks and players in a cell, yes. Other than that, fatal errors and crashes have gone down since upgrading, plus there's DLSS, not a fix, but it atleast alleviates some of the performance problems. i think my main issue with the game is how long its been in development and how slow updates are, considering they have made an estimated 28-30 million in revenue and over 10 years in development, other than that i don't really have a problem with the direction they choose to go, if i don't like it ill move onto another game. iv got 600 hours of value from the game already so thats worth the price i paid.

      that's the best you can do with every alpha. just stop playing in between and come back as soon as there is more content. all together 9 years is a quite a lot, but, evrima is alpha since 2020. so, 4 years. if you think back how BAD evrima was in update 1, then they have come a long way within those 4 years. I don't know how much money they earned and if they could hire 20 more devs to speed things up, but, 30% of the revenue goes to steam, taxes have to be paid as well and each employee earns quite some money a year, too. anyway tho, for that tiny team they did quite well imo. even if we all would love things to be done quicker

    I also have POT and for me is just horrible in every single way (having all the dinos sliding/floating with 0 mechanics doesn't give credits lol, like i am playing a game from 2010 or less).. if i could i would sell pot and support dondi again because they didn't quit and have actually been improving the game overall. Also, i feel we are getting to a zone where the updates may start to be more regular then before which may lead to a lot of new players and servers with more people (above 200+ per server).

      srsly, everyone who ACTUALLY followed the development HAS to cheer these devs. yes, if you didn't follow closely and just look at the numbers, then it looks terrible. 9 years alpha, still no end in sight. but come on, before you (not you) bash and call them stupid, inform yourself, otherwise you look like a fool ^^
      so many people have no idea of the reason for evrima or the original game idea. the many clickbait title videos don't help either. I have the feeling, the more you bash the devs, the more clicks you get. even worse, if you watch videos which don't even know what they are talking about. it's unbelievable how many nonsense I saw and how it got repeated in comments over all kind of the isle videos. sometimes it feels like a russian bot army
      I am pretty sure this game will flourish and I also hope the update interval will shorten as soon as they have all the still needed mechanics (like crush and so on). but, we have to be realistic. this game will be alpha for many more years. almost 50 dinos are yet to come. we are speaking of 4-5 years at least. which is totally fine to me tho, as long as it makes progress. which it does. we just have to look how far we have come from update 3 about 3 years ago

I get its bad, but when people think of how to “fix” it when, those ideas are literally how the devs INTEND for it to be in release is just ironic. Like, its buggy dude. Chill out people, they literally want grapple to be exactly how most people want it to be. They’re on our side lol. I feel like everyone as a whole, not just from a Christian perspective like myself but as a human being perspective, we need to just forgive eachother ofthe bad things we do or have done. Because people get angry and talk about how the devs are bad or arrogant or whatever and then they do pretty much the same thing with the “constructive criticism” videos. They’ll say it’s constructive criticism, which, it is, but I personally at least, feel like they always most of the time turn it around and say something, whether intentional or not, super offensive. Pretty much the same thing is happening with grapple. 90% of the titles and thumbnails say “grapple is broken, how to fix grapple, grapple is aweful” etc. Im gonna stop ranting as Im just yapping at this point lol but you get my point. No one’s perfect, lets just stop being idiots and just try to be positive for once. Grapple is still HEAVY WIP as they stated in the patch-notes, and WILL be improved. I don't expect a bunch of game dinosaurs, rex, instant fix of any problems and the rest from this game. I just want to play this game and nothing more. And every time it turns into a struggle with flaws. It has been in development for too long, legacy is too broken, and euryma is unstable. I don't want to go to games like The isle. I only like The isle. I was ready to play it with bad fps with a handful of dinosaurs. And when I say that I don't like that the developers spent 6 months developing 1 dinosaur, which eventually turned out to be incomplete at the time of release (Diablo), I don't like getting fatal errors every session of mine for two months, Are these overestimated expectations? No -this is the absolute chaos of the development of this project, which began back in the days of Legacy . The problem is not with the people, but with the style of development and the speed of content release. There are always high expectations, in any project, there are always uncles who want everything and always. But The isle has a high entry threshold for players, it's not for everyone. Those who want everything have long gone to PT or other games. Now Evrima players know exactly what they want - to play the game at a decent level

    one thing to keep in mind mombie, this is a dino game and most boys had a dino phase at some point so there is that allure, and the current choices are the isle evrima, Path of Titans, and that bermuda one, POT is very different, the bermuda also not this feeling so Evrima has a monopolium on this genre and the devs do abuse this power... Because of these things, there will be players who want more, and their number will be significant, and they will voice their frustrations which the devs fuel with their gaslighting and overall unprofessional attitude, banning for nothing, like no problem with grapple when they know it broke the balance... If the problem were only present on the hordetest, this wouldnt be an issue but the public game is full of bugs and imperfection, frustrating things which even wastes hours of someone life, growing a dino AFK IS NOT GAMEPLAY...
    This is my experience as a complete beginner playing as a croc, my first dino: I was spawned in somewhere close to the reservoir, at night, nightvision was worthless, OUTSIDE OF THE WATER as a croc, I didnt understand nothing except I need water ASAP... I couldnt see anything, too dark, even at daylight I got lost. I lost 4 crocks until I was finally spawned next to the water, and no I couldnt read the compass at the time because there was no explanation... So I finally was in water, I saw a school of fish I swam close wanting to eat realizing the fish is just cosmetic, they have no physical bodies underwater... I may have caught one because there was sg sticking out of my mouth but I couldnt eat it... this is a common bug, deino can have a piece of meat stuck in their mouth if the appropriate animation doesnt play... How difficult it is to fix this? This happened a few months back, the problem was a few years old, I confirmed that... With a random guy who helped me fish, we "hunted" bit a mentally handicapped fish then tried to eat it, I didnt know you need to swim ashore to eat, which is kinda weird for a game priding itself on realism... After some frustration the problem was solved we headed to hunt more, but as we swam down the river we fell into a hole, both of us into a separate hole... So its in the river right after the mini waterfall, underwater but there is no water, I need to jump about 10 cm to get out but I cant jump, so Im stuck and so was my buddy we both ended such a pathetic way as beginners... What kind of experience is that for newbies? Pitchblack at daytime in shadows, pitchblack on moonlit nights under a 2 trees but nothing else, a platora of random bugs making the experience even more jarring... I like what works but the devs do sell this game AS A GAME not as what really is, beta tester experience... Also the roster... Most people want to play as a big iconic dino or at least a medium awesomeness, not many want to play as a dogsized dino, there is the game Stray for such experience...
    Sorry for the wall of text, I really like your vids and that you are clearly passionate about the game, but even as a newcomer I believe I can see serious problems WHICH are not the fault of the PAYING CUSTOMERS... Also lot of customers of this game are children, you really expect understanding and research from a 10 yo? Thats not how people work... Btw I played about 4 times, couple of hours each session until I final realized the water droplet and the curvy symbol on the compass indicates water... I thought it meant rotten food... No tutorial is not good.

      Afk gameplay is a choice.
      You need more experience with the game. I couldn't count the amount of times i have died due to getting lost in the jungle. Not understanding how the ui works.
      Everything has a learning curve, and especially in this hard core world in evrima your gonna die. You have to let go of the fact that your choosing to spend your time growing a Dino. How about instead of choosing a Dino that takes hours and hours of game time to grow, choose something that will familiarise yourself to the game, ie pteradon, galli, troodon, raptor, or pachy. Going straight into playing a deino and expecting a 100% survival rate is not the way to go about it. And is actually on you for your own frustrations.
      Use ptera, fly around look at landmarks learn the map and what it's all about, and then once you have a good feel or idea of it then dive into creatures that are difficult to grow.
      It's not that difficult.

    • @da.mombie
      @da.mombie 4 месяца назад +2

      sry for the late answer, but it was already later yesterday and your comment needs a proper answer. first of all, this is no offense. but, you show very well what's wrong with the expectations of the community. you are new to the game, have no idea about the development of it (which isn't your fault as you are new to the party) and probably watched many youtube videos to get into the game. like many do, as the game doesn't support you much at the start. then you find all those clickbait youtubers which tell you what's wrong and how bad the devs are.
      you haven't much experience, but, already some frustrating moments. because these are the first experiences in this type of games. so your brain connects these frustrating moments with what you hear in those bash videos and it sounds very reasonable. like... oh yeah, I had this experience too and yeah, I would also like this to be like that and oh yeah, this seems really unbalanced because I already died that way too. you form a strong opinion pretty early without having much knowledge about the whole situation.
      first of all, the isle was never meant to be a children's game. the isle also never meant to be a dino game for everyone. it's a dino game in tarkov style. like you mentioned yourself, it's pretty different to PoT and BoB. the first sentence on their steam page says "The Isle is intended to be a gritty, open-world survival horror game." the keyword is gritty. to write about so many hours wasted and AFK grow just shows perfectly well that you and everyone who does think like that, actually don't like this type of games. you expect something different. but, that's not what the isle is about or ever meant to be. I and many others expect exactly that type of game which it is and just because there is no other proper dino game out there, you and those who want another game expect the devs to change it to your ideas. but no. they don't listen to you. they stick to their plan to do the game they wanted to do from start on. which I and many others very much appreciate. that said, they even changed things to favor those who want a different experience. but, these people don't even see that, because they have no idea of that game was even meant to be. so, from their point of view it looks like they aren't listening. which is the biggest nonsense around.
      your whole first deino experience and your complains about the tutorial show even more that you aren't the type of player for this game. you are fascinated by the immersion, but don't even know where it comes from. I love that there are no hints and that you have to get that knowledge by your own. that's part of the immersion. to speak about balance is the next typical beginner mistake. you have no idea about balancing at this stage. you don't even know what balance means in this game. the balance is survive, not fight. each dino shall be able to survive, not to match other dinos in fights. some are supposed to be balanced in a fight and others aren't supposed to do so. in general this is and never will be a balanced game at all. even if you balance a teno vs a carno perfectly well, then you still have 99 out of 100 times an unbalanced fight. because it is a 3vs1, and adult vs a juvie, a 2000 hour main vs a new player. there is no balance in this game. people who complain about balance have no idea of how this game actually works. these are the typical PVP mains who complain because the latest change destroys their tactics which they have mastered. balance. what a nonsense catchphrase in within the community.
      last but not least. it is an alpha. so, to complain about any bug is ridiculous and something I won't even go into it anymore. if you don't like alpha and can't handle bugs, then don't buy an alpha game. period. even more, your first experience wasn't great, so what? this is no game which rewards you and activates your dopamine by giving you XP for doing almost nothing at the start and still getting a level up. like most other games are designed to do. it's a dayz style experience. you shall suffer. if you don't like it, then this isn't your type of game. that simple.
      like I said, this is no offense. you aren't the bad mate here. but, you are the typical example of how all this hate gets transported and hyped up more and more for no reason but having no idea of the game and it's original design. people are coming into the isle and don't even know what kind of game it is and mostly not even know what an alpha experience means. then they realize that it isn't what they expected and want the devs to change it. that's the problem of the isle. not the devs

Or the pedo controversy, or that the devs actively ban people on their discord on false pretenses, like spreading misinformation... On reddit though there are lot of positive posts, but like 40-60% of it is negative, depends on the current events, and I read lots of them and they are valid criticisms mostly not always...
      You are saying essentially that my and lots of other people's expectations are the problem and not the game... So Ive been around long enough to know omni was weak and pathetic for months now they became OP with the pinning as of the current hordetest... Because of the darkness and stamina Ptera was almost unplayable NOT MY OPINION but most people claimed this... Night being too dark FOR A LONG TIME so much so that it was unplayable, too often bad weather, so amost complete dark at daytime... My problem with these quality of life BUGS / INCONVINIENCES isnt that its alpha BUT HOW DARE THE DEVS LEAVE IN BUGS in an alpha, my problem that WHY they dont hire more people, so 1-2 guys could actively scout sites like reddit with lost of free bug reports AND literally play the game and find such an easily fixable wide array of bugs LIKE the weather darkness problem or the food stuck in deino because animation bug so croc cant eat and need to reconnect to server for a fix... The devs chose to not hire more workforce so they can churn out more dino in a timely fashion as well as fix bugs more efficiently than in half a year patches... Also getting stuck was just fixed after such a long time... With that unstuck command... This isnt fun gameplay discovery thing, this is jarring easy to fix bugs but ignored for so long for no reason...
      Regarding alpha, the game on steam can be read as it was RELEASED IN 2015, this is how I first saw it there... I needed to ask around to know what legacy, evrima and hordetest is because it wasnt obvious... In the EU at least, although maybe games are different BUT you have to put out a certain quality AND it doesnt matter if you say its an alpha if you accept money for it, since then ITS A PRODUCT thus the devs DO OWE the CUSTOMERS a certain level of quality... They essentially sell the game as a completed finished product, that is the buggy chinese infested Legacy, with that the Evrima which is in alpha which I didnt know since they dont warn about that because you are sold legacy which is finished AND abandoned... No one warns you about this...
      Look mombie, I have a strong opinion on this that the isle is here, and not further A LOT ahead in development, is their fault not ours, I do recognize there are lots of trolls and aholes among the gamers users as well, so we both the devs and the gamers are to be blamed... But at the end of the day people like dinos, will come here and get jaded by the unprof attitude of these devs... Most want to experience a fun dino game, nothing more nothing less.
      Btw on how to play stego: I looked up advice, solo that is, you need to grow AFK up until 30% to have a fighting chance, thats the most accepted way to play stego solo so no nested in... thats about 1.5 hour of doing almost nothing and that can end in a few minutes or seconds, no other game Ive ever played has such 'feature'...
      Btw one final thing, I only watch you so mombie, owltime, metta and the saphireceratos that semi official channel where that youtuber only posts dev replys, and one more occasionally but I dont remember the name, I dont watch BASH CHANNELS as you stated... There is a healthy criticism which the devs though grudgingly understood and changed the game accordingly for which I praise them...

      Azuria, that's the point of the game. If you are walking in the open, making noises, being in clear view, Then you will be preyed upon.
      Is that what you would do in a real survival situation?.
      If you had people hunting you, would you call out to them?
      No, you sneak around bushes, always blocking line of sight between you and anyone else.
      It's your play style that is letting you down, not the game.
      You need to learn what survival is.
      How to survive. Put your mind Into the world of the character you are playing.
      Vigilant of your surroundings,
      Be cautious of the sounds you make,
      If you cant see what's in front of you, then don't run,
      Would you run blind in real life?
      If you dying to cliffs it's because you weren't aware of where you are going. If you're not aware of your surroundings then take it slow.
      Take accountability for your own mistakes and learn from them.
      This isn't going to hold your hand like mum and dad.
      Does your adrenaline heart start pumping when you are hunting or being hunted?
      Your eyes widen and becoming more zoned in?
      Fear causing through your mind?
      That is the survival state of mind. The reptilian brain. It's the oldest part of the human brain. This game represents that state of mind. You harness that idea and put it into the game play style. You will survive.
      If you play with the idea of safety, then your gonna die. That world is not safe.

      what? they made legacy and had to stop for serious reasons. the lead programmer left the company and nobody could read and further develop the old code that dude wrote. so, they had to start all over again and restarted the project with evrima.
      anyway, evrima is also alpha. it's sold in steam as alpha

    Its not about testing a feature on a HT branch , its that the isle devs cannot implement a feature as even approximately balanced ; its either completely broken or trash or illogical. There is never a middle ground. Its like if you want to test spicy ice cream in a market and put the worlds hottest chilly in it ,and then when the customers say this goes beyond common sense , you take a month to fix it. It just reflects poorly on their decision making , that's why people have grounds to be unhappy.

    • @da.mombie
      @da.mombie 4 месяца назад +4

      yes, these devs love to test to the extreme. but, first of all it is an alpha, so I don't care. everyone who is looking for the perfect gaming experience should question himself buying an alpha. even more, personally I love the different phases. sometimes omni is super strong, then super weak again. I enjoy this during an alpha game.
      but, even more important. balance is totally overrated. it's the biggest nonsense in this game. even if you balance a carno vs a teno perfectly well, in 99 out of 100 situations you will have a 2vs1, a 4vs1, a 6vs2 or a juvie vs a an adult, a 2000 hour main vs a new player. balance doesn't exist. in fact, we can choose if we want a balanced fight. every fight we start, we have the chance to find an opponent that is quite fairly balanced. but, guess what, most people prefer to fight with an advantage. so, there will never be balance in this game anyway.

    The team making the game no matter alpha or beta or testing or released is producing less than optimised experiences that is ruining and wasting the time of the people who play. The game needs some serious fixes. Overall the average median experience with playing Evrima is frustration. I can only spout my suggestion of removing this version untill it is ready to be released while allowing selected testers to use and to give feed back and get resolved in a timely manner. In my opinion since its release its been a embarrassment.

      how selfish can someone be? you don't enjoy it and that's why they should remove it? how about you just stop playing it and let the ones who enjoy it have fun? why should the people who love playing the game suffer, just because you don't enjoy it? just stop playing. isn't that complicated. but to keep playing and complain is ridiculous. even more to demand to remove it. sry mate, I am shocked by that level of selfishness.

      I just don't understand how people are so hurt by a 30 dollar game?
      I have over 1000 hours in a 30 dollar game. Yes it can be frustrating at times, but what game these days isn't?
      Have you played gta online? Horrible with hackers. You can't even leave your own house without being blown up by some hacker. And rockstar is a billion dollar company and still can't manage to keep hackers out?.
      I could give lists, reasons and examples all day of the gaming industry as is. Atleast with the isle you have constant communication with the developers, whether the ideas are good or bad in your or my opinion. And that's the real truth of the matter everyone has a different opinion. And do you not think it's an abuse of power by the 'community' to create a whole eco system around hating a game because you were hurt by what was said, or didn't agree with something?
      This type of behaviour should be directed towards your politicians, not some EA 30 dollar game. It just sounds so crazy. By all means give feedback, it's needed.
      Please tell me how you were physically mentally abused by this game and its developers?
      How this 30 dollar game and its developers are so horrible to you that makes you so angry at the game. But yet come back because no one else quite does it like the isle does?

    • @da.mombie
      @da.mombie 4 месяца назад

      I played more than 30 alpha games and the experience was everywhere the same. some devs were even worse, some better, some did communicate more, some less, some failed, some flourished, but one thing had all in common. bugs, bad performance, decisions which didn't please everyone and updates which felt like a step back in between. business as usual. just because you seem to have less experience with alpha, doesn't mean they are bad or you have any right to complain about it. it's alpha. if you don't like that concept, then don't buy it. but to buy an alpha and complain about constant bugs and decisions which don't suit your interests is ridiculous. even more to think that decisions were bad just because you dislike them. I also don't like each of their decisions, but I am not that entitled to think it's bad just because I don't like it. because other people might like these decisions.
      well, I would also turn my back on the isle if there would be another dino game that suits my style better. I am no fanboy. I am a gamer. but I am also a realist. dino games are a niche and that type of dino game I am looking for (dayz like) is even a bigger niche. so, I highly doubt any big studio will ever touch such a game and I also doubt another little studio will pop up and do a better game in less time.
      but, I would love to be wrong on that

      @@soulfullcreations7308 so well said. it's ridiculous how people hate these devs. especial if you compare them to the reality of gaming. nobody cares that rockstar is sucking our money for years now, with the online version of a 10 year old game which is still full of bugs and hacker. but, the isle devs are the bad ones and nothing but devils themselves ^^

    • @thelazyoz2061

      @soulfullcreations7308 so we excuse other devs because another dev is worse? No, we hold them all accountable. Everyone shits on gta online. And people have a right to be annoyed that a game they paid for barely functions. I say barely to be nice. The number of hackers is abysmal for a game where growing a dino takes hours only yo have your fun stopped short by bugs or hackers. Funny enough path of titans is run by a previous dev of the aisle, and that game functions really well, especially combat hit boxes. The only issue is that it's more mmo and not survival, which is the only appeal the isle has atm

      Peak game design right here but its justified because game is in alpha and these things take so much time to fix of course
