I apparently need to explain this better. When we are in our home we do take our shoes off. But when visiting other people it’s very rare.

I really love that lately Kayla is building a lot of things out of her comfort zone! Even if she says that she is not good at this, I think that she nails it every time!!! ❤️ This house in particular is very beautiful, i love to see diversity in her content 😁

The poorly decorated moodlet is exceptionally annoying. What if the room is supposed to be the character's style? It is a bit funny that Nancy Landgraab gets the moodlet from her own freaking house, though.

Hey Kayla! Check out simsproved's video on narrow living! She used debug houses to create a jointed house. I thought it was such a clever way to "fill" the entire lot size and gave a more realistic feel to a tiny house. Love your videos and was so proud to see your builds in this new pack :)

I dream of being able to build like youtubers build but all of my houses look the same lol
Find some website with real house floorplans, pick one you like, and try to replicate it! You will need to adjust for the game's limitations, but studying real houses will teach you a whole lot. I know it definitely helped up my building skills 👍
Oh my god same.. I do better with other peoples builds and just unfurnishing them and then remodeling them I’m so bad at building I get inspired by Kayla tho
It takes me a whole week to build a house because I can never make up my mind and I'm always changing things. They build so fast!

Ok now that my daily simsie time comment is posted . I will say I LOVE the use of platforms but oh boy do they make building difficult. The platforms themselves are simple but they kept glitching and effecting the floor level causing stairs to be deleted and rooms to not me functional. Also I keep having that same glitch you are where the doors keep saying “can’t intersect with walls”
Yeah I was trying them and it was annoying how whenever I put one down inside my shell, they kept deleting my walls. It just made things more difficult with my shell already being built, so I just didn't use any
@@gracewheeler3347 i had the same problem. I ended up just taking an existing room, building a wall cutting it in half, taking one half of the room and using the arrows to raise that part of the room up and then deleting the wall

This house is SO PRETTY KAYLA!! I love the vibe, it feels real! I feel like we have modern houses like this in the Netherlands so it feels familiar, and it's surprisingly homey (usually I don't vibe as much with modern houses in the Sims so that's kinda huge!). Amazing job ❤️❤️

You can keep the downstairs floorplan with the black staircase and glass railing by turning the downstairs bedroom into a living space. Actually, you can still keep it a bedroom if you using the Murphy bed from Tiny Living. If you do not have access to Tiny Living, then you can take your living space and turn it into a living room with the same living room set-up you have but the windowed corner. That is a decently sized room as well so you could also add a desk or chess table as a way of skill-building. Put the dining space over in the windowed corner where you put the living space.

This year we've got ladders, we're able to free place doors and windows, we're able to stack windows, there is a new function on the gallery, we have more halfwalls and last but not least, a whole new buildtool(platforms)!!
