First of all, it can happen to any of us. The difference between you and a lot of other detailers is that you admit it. It can happen to anyone. When I'm dealing with deep staining I always explain what wicking is to the client and tell them to let me know if it happens. Good video. I'll sub ya

Shampoo is tough when it’s cold out. I’ve been using the P&S 3 step with a steamer and it’s been working great with no water injection ! Maybe that can help in these colder months. Best of luck out there !
I had a client, it was a friend’s aunt. He had gifted her a detail and we had scheduled for 12. She calls me the night before asking if I can come at 11. A bit annoying but I accommodate. I end up getting there around 10:30 maybe that was my bad but she said she had stuff to do that day and better early than late. I call her saying Ik I’m a bit early but you could just leave the keys w me. She said a bunch of excuses, how I’m a stranger and she doesn’t trust me with the keys, even scolded me for not respecting peoples time. She gaslit me saying she’s confused she thought it was at 12 and said I didn’t confirm the night before. Cancelled on me. I was civil but I blocked her before I even put the keys in the ignition. Her sister felt bad so I ended up detailing at her place. She paid me double my price but that gave me ptsd lol. Worst part there was a detail van a few houses down as I was leaving.

One huge thing I learned is throwing a dehumidifier in the car. Dries it like crazy. It will blow your mind on how much water can get out.

As one detailer to another, shit happens. We have all been there. That’s what we do, we learn and move on. That’s what makes us a master detailer
