    Jeannie and Adrienne about made me cry. Loni trying to dismiss the race element was wack. Like she was always the one to make it know race was a clear element in certain problems. I like the perspective that Amanda gave about the tensions between black and Asian communities. I also like what she said about the root cause of the behavior. But I still feel like she kinda brushed over the topic with lack of passion. If that were a black man it would have been different. And I understand the connection and empathy with the black man. But as allies of the Asian community they deserve that same spice and passion she usually has.

      I think they are all emotional when things hit close to home as Adrienne and Jeannie were today in these clips and life experiences for them. It's just the same as Amanda, Loni, and Tamera on any other given day. Let's just call it even. They're showing compassion for one another in their own way.

    • @lelelew2735
      @lelelew2735 4 года назад +44

      True she had accurate information but it was kind of irrelevant lol the point is there's always been tension but they are acting on it because of the virus...everyone is just now picking on them because of the virus and that they are Asian it's not that deep.
      Plus discrimination Asian vs black has always affected black women more because they own hair stores and nail salons

      haneulk7789 there is plenty ways Asians have participated in racism against black folks down to when we walk in the carry out(Chinese food restaurant) it’s like every other minority is a minority just not the “black kind” and it shows when they don’t show up for us in spaces that they should but then we’re supposed to just all ban together under the minority flag once it happens to someone other then black? This gos for certain Hispanics as well, its a weird thing explain especially they the comment section on RUclips... AND LIKE IVE STATED BEFORE THERE IS NO JUSTIFYING THAT VIDEO AND ID COULD NEVER CONDONE THAT IN ANYWAY! I have the most amazing friend from Spain and she and her family have put up with so much bs because they don’t want to get deported for speaking up. They’re legal and citizens. Emanual Carr My example however, both individuals were legal and still didn’t feel like they had a right to talk about politics in this country which they are citizens in also. Which I think is messed up. No matter how you came here, once you’re a citizen you should be allowed to express your opinion and participate in conversations with your perspective and experiences. Also I disagree with the phrase “respect is earned not given.” I think everyone deserves base level respect of not being called names or harassed simply for existing in a space until proven that they may not. But even then I will always interact with everyone with the most basic amount of respect because that’s how I want to be treated. That’s not bend over backwards and treat you like the queen but everyone deserves the right to feel safe.

I'm curious how many Asian were apart of the March on Washington, holding signs that says Black lives matter, how many asians benefits from the minority perspective when it comes buying and renting homes that Black Civil rights leaders fought for? How many Asian were bused into schools that did want them there how many cases had to go to the Supreme courts to get some type of justice. White American would hire an Asian before a Black person. Jeanne even spoke with more passion about the LGBTQ before she did for black people yet she can lay down with one. I don't want anyone to be mistreated but I need some more passion in that voice when she speak on the disproportionate treatment of black people I'm just saying.

      @@bryansim9191 I'll say that might have happened at most twice. That's besides the point I'm making in my original post, though. People claim there is too much race talk on the show about black people because of Loni and Amanda. Which Amanda does from an educational point of view. Jeannie has really recently brought up more issues within the asian community and Adrienne feels like she can speak up on her community. These are positive things. I am truly curious as to what you are saying, and am genuinely only trying to understand.
