Can anyone else see that the footplates on those new locos are bowed upwards? I know that traditionally when a locomotive is manufactured that the whole subframe on which everything sits...engine, alternator etc...is deliberately bent in that direction so that when all the components are mounted onto it, their weight straightens out the subframe and ultimately the footplate that we see is level.
WRA003 was involved in that collision out at Drillham a few weeks back.

Well, the fuel tanks would be empty, for a start. Don't know about engine coolant, oil and other fluids.
Nice catches ! Finally I get to see these in person after much hype and mis information.
Thanks for the chases!
Cheers Gregg.
They seem like very long locos compared to 1754, considering they use basically the same engine.
Not that I've heard about.
I haven't seen any of the watco locos on the main northern coast line yet.
watco hauled a revenue train out if the south west yet?
