- A good week to mine some opal!
This week it’s been a lot of man hours and a lot of diesel to claw my way though to an area of the mine I’ve had high hopes for.
We have been spreading out our operation with Noah looking for pineapple opal and myself chasing seam, I hope you guys enjoy.
I really wanted to take you though more of the mining, cleaning and cutting process.

I sure wish we got your discovery shows here in the USA, but unfortunately the TV industry here is run by a bunch of incompetent woke liberal activists who only put things on TV that promote their sick political agenda. Thank goodness for youtube, its the only way I get to see this kind of content. Keep up the good work guys.

Appreciate when you show the bad things as well as the good. When I only see the good stuff it makes me think, “I could get behind doing that. Maybe I should move…” So I appreciate when you bring us back to earth and remind us just how much effort and love goes into this process.

RUclips needs more videos of miners on their claims just digging doing their thing! It’s so cool watching people mine opals in Australia or aquamarine in Colorado, it’s just that there’s not many videos that come out very often due to the fact that they are miners and have to go work! This is so awesome seeing the process of how this stuff is mined and cut, polished; your living a dream! I’m here in Texas using a hammer drill 8 hours a day digging dirt to replace pipes and y’all are doing the same finding opal haha. Good luck to you and everyone of your co workers I wish y’all the best and I hope you do find your million dollar find!
I love your show. My dad spent a lot of time in the 40s and 50s looking for opal. After he died I found an old biscuit tin with bits he had treasured from his youth.. I think that is why ur show fascinates me .. thanks for the show!

I have nothing but respect for you all and the work you do. I could only dream of being able to sweat my ass off down in a hole 30+ meters under ground to find some gorgeous Opal! Best damn gemstone on the planet in my opinion, hands down. Once you’ve cut a few Opals you’ll never enjoy cutting anything but them!!!

I loved collecting stones as a child. I still collect them. Actually mining them has always been something I’ve wanted to try. I love seeing people get just as excited about finding gems as I would. Glad to see the channel!

Awesome video guys! I'm a hobbyist miner and Australia is top of my bucket list! I've dug up opal in Canada and Mexico. Opal is by far the most beautiful gem on earth!
