I don’t think so. He's definitely in "Shibuya" but not the Shibuya from The World End With You. He's in the Shibuya of Verum Rex since Yozora is there too. This also falls in line with Game Central Station world being a hub for game-based worlds, which is connected to Kingdom Hearts Union Cross, and potentially Wreck-It Ralph.
TTsuyuki my headcanon has been that since nomura was taken off versus 13/XV project, he’s been slowly injecting the pieces he couldn’t realize into Kingdom Hearts. Heck bits of ff7 remake has some xv slowmode battle system thrown in.
@@MurderofBirds true. But if he is in The World Ends With You it would make sense now why Joshua told Sora "See you in Shibuya" in Dream Drop. Being an angel of death, he probably knew Sora was gonna die. Plus all the characters in TWEWY are dead and playing a game to get a second chance at life. So it would make sense in context. Verum Rex being there makes sense too since he's in Shibuya also
MurderofBirds I’m not so sure about that. I’d say the parallels of Sora waking up in the _exact same_ manner and location as Neku in TWEWY, along with the ‘104’ you can see in the background make it a definite possibility.

I think Micky's line highlights Sora's abuse of the Power of Awakening the best. "It's not for chasing hearts around." The Power of Awakening is for diving into the heart and arriving in new worlds; worlds like the Stations of Awakening, The Dreaming Worlds, and whatever form Scala Ad Caelum was (Xehanort's heart maybe? Sora had Destiny Island in his back in DDD). Using your heart and the heart of another in order to travel to new worlds is most likely the main intent. Sora though chased his friend's hearts through worlds instead... through the WORLD'S heart.
Head canon time, but I think the main difference is the scope of the heart being used for the act. Good = using a mortal heart to reach the vast heart of a world. Bad = diving into a heart larger than your own in order to find a mortal heart. I think a scaling issue makes the most sense, as it probably has something to do with the amount of darkness (maybe even light) that you are willingly allowing your heart to be assaulted with.

@@MurderofBirds No, Sora is definitely in the World Ends With You Shibuya because of the 104. That is unique to TWEWY simply because the real life one says 109. HOWEVER Riku is in a different place. THAT'S where Yozora was and THAT'S Verum Rex. The problem is you're assuming Riku and Sora are in the same Tokyo, but their not.
I completely forgot about Game Central Station. Still, it'd be nice to see Neku and co again, DDD gave me hope to see TWEwY crew again. Either way a Wreck-It Ralph world in Kingdom Hearts IV would be hype, I can just smell the meta humor, especially after Axel had so much fun with it lol.

@@keyblade9712 Beat me to it! Nomura interviews already confirmed it isn't The World Ends With You. It wasn't ambiguous or gray when he said it, too. He said it outright. No double speak or loophole there.
Now, it could be a smiliar world to TWEWY (alternate universe to it?) but it won't have TWEWY ties.
I'm so glad that this worked for you. When I beat the game, it froze during the cut scene shortly after I beat the final form of the final boss. So I had to uninstall, reinstall, redo the whole final battle before I got to see the ending. Still congratulations man looking forward to your next game.

I just made so much sense to me and I was right.
Still my opinion on KH3 is pretty split, I had fun and love most things they did, but also have a ton to critize
Impressive deduction skills with called Luxu from that far back. I also feel the same way about my critiques on KH3 compared to my starry-eyed first playthrough. It's been a long time coming, but there are still so many things I wish that were done differently, or better in some cases.

Like my first playthrough was full of hype nad wait after finishing it I relaxed and then said... they could have done a lot better, giving us more answers, not more lose plotpoints, finally redeem Kairi... But well I do hope we get our answers one day. We will see what comes.^^ And also thank you, It was lots of fun watching this journey along with you as well.^^
Same here! By the end of DDD I was side eyeing the hell out of Xigbar. Every other line I felt like Xiggy was letting on that he knew more than every other character did. It felt like watching a movie for the first time with someone who had seen it. "I dunno .. maybe there IS someone behind that door. Guess we'll find out, huh?"

Before Final Fantasy XV was FFXV, it was FF Versus 13 directed by Tetsuya Nomura.
FF XV is NOT the same as FF Versus 13. XV only reuses Versus 13's characters and locations.
Sora is Japanese for "Sky", Yozora is Japanese for "Night Sky", Noctis Caelem is Latin for "Night Sky"
Verum Rex is also Latin for "True King"

Because the scenery of the city looks just like Shibuya. And the city landscape has undergone the same changes as the game.

I'll likely never understand how people go into sudden outbursts or suddenly be in tears during moments of excitement. I'm too passive or self-contained and always feel like people doing that are either faking it or overly exaggerating for whatever reason. Just my thoughts mainly at myself, anyway, keep it up.

Some people emote more/are empaths. I straight up cried hysterically the whole ending scene. And when Sora disappeared I started screaming at my tv. It's entirely possible.
Some people just connect more with stories than other people.

The main setting of The World Ends with You is Shibuya Crossing and that whole general area. They change some stuff like 109 becomes 104 so it’s not an exact 1 to 1 representation.
I love both of the themes for the game
Also Matpat made a video about Kh3 and theorized that Nomura had awesome plans for Frozen but Disney had to their boot on Noumra's neck and evidence suggests that Elsa was supposed the Villain of that world and that she was the wolf boss the theme was supposed be about her morality and potential of being a dark princess. Her catlse is where Larxene sends you and you can even tell that her castle was supposed to be explorable.

It was because the voice credits for the Foretellers was shown. (Ira, Ava, Aced, Gula, Luxu)
Since they weren't present during the entire game, it would have spoiled that they were in the game, as shown with the Epilogue at the end.

I’m pretty sure that guy at the end of the secret movie is actually the Master of Masters because of what he was doing with his hands when he was looking at the moon. You know there’s a theory that the Master of Masters is actually Sora’s future self I find it kind of interesting. You should read the KH3 secret reports to know what Luxu’s role was there’s also some other interesting information in them like information on the girl Ansem found years ago.
There are still two more videos on this playthrough. Reading through the Secret Reports will be the last upload for my KH3 series.
I feel like MoM being future Sora is too obvious and cliche. I'd be surprised if Nomura went that route.

I already have my Persona 5 series prepped for the end of the month. Unfortunately, the series will be going through a "one-week" upload schedule while RWBY Volume 7 is ongoing, but come January/February, the series will have multiple uploads per week until it's finished.
No that city is from FFXIII verses which was the inspiration for XV and never came out.

Verum Rex is supposedly a video game. A trailer was shown for it at the beginning of the toy story world. The main character of the game is Yozora. However the secret ending seems to show that it's more than just a made-up game for one disney world.
