Yup, The Forest shown is the Redwood Forest of California which is where they filmed for EP VI on endor. At the 37 second mark of the KH4 trailer, you can see the heel and foot of a Mortor class Imperial AT-ST.
With KH IV coming I do hope to see some Final Fantasy characters coming back. They might just give us TWEWY characters if anything because while Sora is in the Quadratum, the setting is in Shibuya/Shinjuku where the setting of TWEWY and Neo TWEWY take place and the premise is based on the afterlife. I really want to see the gang meet Sora again, and also to possibly see a Minamimoto boss fight.
I hope you get to play melody of memory soon. Even though the important story stuff is very small and all the way at the end, it was a genuinely fun rhythm game

Which we know for sure. Starlitzia is dead or whatever form sora is, she is in the same boat. Donald and Goofy are in the underworld and were surprised by Hades, probably yo ask him if he knows of any way to other afterlifes. On Rikus search he probably ends up in Shibuya to check, cuz 104 was in that trailer and if they don't deliver The Underground Shibuya imma be mad.
nomura confirmed it was not pre-rendered, every point in the trailer ran real time. trailer is UE4, but the game will run on UE5 at the end, the graphics will be even much more better, wich is crazy to think about

I believe that he might possibly be able to return somehow someway, it's just that the odds are not exactly in his favor. All im saying (and I might be crazy on this) but since NEO: The World Ends With You takes place in a really recent time in Shibuya, (my guess is 2021 Shibuya) there might be a chance to not only see Neku and friends, but also Rindo and friends! And i dont know what scares me more. Sora having Heartless and Noise encounters or Sora being a player in the Reaper's game. The reason why i think he's in the Reaper's game is that in MoM, they say that sora went "missing" and the world he was in is in a diferent reality that does not exist in that universe. In TWEWY, the Underworld is a separate plane than the Overworld (AKA) the land of the living. So if Sora is dead and is now in Shibuya, he might be a player like how Neku was. Now for the reason in why he got there. I think it could have been a Reaper. It couldnt be a heartless since KH3 Sora can defeat them with ease and Organization XIII Dissapeared when you defeated them in KH3. So Sora had to encounter an enemy he couldnt defeat by the Keyblade which could be the Reapers and the Noise (since they can only be defeated by the Pins you collect). Also notice how the specials you use with the keyblade behaves similar like how a pin would behave. So it makes me believe that you will use both the Keyblade and Pins.
If Quadratum is an "afterworld" or "afterlife" of some sort, then Donald and Goofy searching for more leads in the Underworld makes sense. It's possible they were searching for Auron, considering they were saying "I wonder where he is" and "I hope he can help" but were surprised and frightened when Hades showed up. Remember, in KH2, Auron was actually in the Underworld as a spirit that was being controlled by Hades. So talking to a dead person like Auron could help, if Quadratum is linked to the afterlife.

To be fair, you don't miss much by not playing MoM. All you learn is that Riku is going after Sora, he and Kairi decide she needs to "train more" so she stays behind, and some little details about Kairi herself. Not surprising, considering Nomura didn't even want to do MoM.
I think in this game, we will play in 2 different worlds.. in disney world we just play goofy and donald to find sora, on the other hand we play as sora and his "new friend" in quadratum..

I think in this game, we will play in 2 different worlds.. in disney world we just play goofy and donald to find sora, on the other hand we play as sora and his "new friend" in quadratum..

people talking about Sora's feet being smaller like he hasn't had smaller feet in every game lmao. in KH3 his feet were just a little bigger than normal feet compared to KH1 man is just growing up and growing into his feet.
I know some people are not as excited for this game but I guess it's mainly because this is the start of a new arc. It's almost like we're starting an entirely new game, maybe the next ones will gain more interest
