Getting ready to revamp my system adding other rad along with direct die to the 9950X. Hoping to see some improvements with cooling off the chips as much as possible as a daily driver.
Game tech reviews has 9700x running 8000mt 96 gig of ram. Running Live MMO for 8 hours straight multiple days, on x670e motherboard and he's upgraded to a x870e motherboard.
With a good sample delided and water-chiller keeping the cpu around 35 to 45 degrees on load u think that can be possible to get 6ghz (or close) eCLK fully tunned Curve/Shaper per core for a daily scenario? that could be crazy to see one day...
I experimented with my 9700X to get 6 GHz stable all-cores and I needed 0C with 1.375V. Maybe the 9950X CCD0 can do it with slightly less voltage or higher temperature ... but I think it would still be ballpark low single digit temperature and 1.35V. skatterbencher.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Slide47-1.png
Doing that but the best I can do all core is 5738 so far. I can get over 6 on several cores with the chiller. But even with the chiller at 7C and pump running at 2.0 l/min and Optimus signature cpu block, the can only keep the actual cpu dies at about 40C. And of course, depending on the humidity, you have to deal with lots of condensation once you get below 20C water temp. So a daily driver might not be feasible
Awesome video. Just curious, what are your CPU core temps during these 6ghz runs? And how much easier do you think it would be to hit 6ghz using sub-ambient cooling?
Temperature should be low 40C. Lowering the temperature will for sure make it a lot easier to hit 6 GHz. I did such an experiment with the 9700X a couple weeks ago ruclips.net/video/3Xzlh-SvGMY/видео.html
I've had an X870 Hero in my office for a while, but haven't had the opportunity to check memory overclocking yet. So I can't give much more advise. Maybe with the 9800X3D when I'm back from holiday :)
I can't find the shamano tool but I'm getting 5975 with my oc under game load (light load at 120) but still a load and only 35 MHz less than this. Isn't 5975 under load better than 6010 nob? Not being disrespectful, I love your videos and have learned most from you I'm just asking?
Why you need to use a No operation software generator if Windows already does that with the System Idle process and high performance power profile to avoid core parking?
Excellent as usual

Want to see 64Gb+ of RAM overclocking on ryzen 9000
4 dimm is still shit
@@SeventhCircle77 2x32 or 2x48Gb is viable options
@@RomanBukin-re8ih 4x anything for Ryzen 9000 is still trash it's the same memory controller as 7000

btw, I have no issue with boot to Windows, it is superquick with every changed in the BIOS (Strix B650E-E Gaming, 2x 24GB DRAM, BIOS 3035 )
My boot takes 32 secs. And I'm way ocd

I use a high power Peltier cooler and it is great. But for this I had to install a custom IHS.

@@SkatterBencher I'll have the 9700x coming soon and I'll test it with my 200W TEC. Hopefully I can hit 6ghz all cores.
What is the point of having 6 Ghz idling? The important goal would be a fully loaded system that can work stable. Can you make a video of that case?
Benchmarks for max or XOC, this isn't for stable, nor daily. It's for the fastest scores. You're on the wrong channel for that friend.
It's just for fun. I already uploaded my 9950X overclocking guide for stable operation: ruclips.net/video/tEJiQcPA4p0/видео.html

Where is the CPU-z bench and results?
😂
:D
xD
But it doesn't help anything, getting to the frequency without the possibility of running software is not contributing.
Run R23 to get a result
Yes. CPU is meant to be used on actual work. Idling is just power wasted. Better to turn it off.
We're here for CPU-Z Benchmarks, not daily, nor gaming. The software is the benchmark score.
EK... lol
overclock 9000 cpu enough,,,,we want see labtop ryzen 370 and your overclocks like PROART PX13 or proart p16 or TUF A16 FA608
can you give a link to the work tool as i cant seem to find it plz?
Latest public version should be in here: rog-forum.asus.com/t5/amd-600-series/x670-resource/td-p/901576
I only got a b650 motherboard and i have not got option for BCLK2 Frequency
Most motherboards don't have this option . Only a few Asus Mobo.
