In middleschool I read the book "Holes" and became obsessed with the idea of digging a shovel deep x shovel wide hole in my yard. My parents were understandably not supportive!
But now that I have my own yard, someday I will dig that shovel x shovel hole.

What a wholesome video. Sometimes it's nice to trade shoes with someone to really appreciate different aspects of what we call work. Every job has something interesting about it that you would never experience if you don't just hop in and try it out.
I clicked on this video because the concept struck me as zany and fun. I wasn't expecting it to also be touching and sweet. I might have cried a tiny bit at Jason’s wish to make his dad proud, and in case he reads this comment I hope he has come to believe that his dad is indeed proud. 💗

I don't know why but this was so nice to watch. I guess memories of myself digging holes all over our huge garden back in my childhood years (and getting yelled at for it before having to fill them up again) came up...
I'm aware it isn't for your channel - I'd still watch a series of you and your children digging a hole together though, maybe with the help of their uncle giving instructions, building... I don't know, maybe a little pool or a tiny pond in the backyard. That certainly would be something I'd be watching!

But it certainly has something very satisfying, creating something with your own hands, just using simple tools like shovels - no heavy machinery, together with children to create shared memories and everyone involviert achieving a sense of accomplishment. Especially when it's something you have in front of your eyes for years to come. Hey, if it's something you're interested in, just do it... no need to film it. Just do it for yourself and (with) your family! 👍

I think it is interesting how Jason doesnt see himself as an artist. First he did a great job at his first flip book. Second his medium for art is the earth and the machinery he runs and the over all work he does. All of it is pretty danged awesome.
The end scene is just your average "boys will be boys" moment
This needs to be a series on the history channel or travel channel or something. I would definitely watch it. It’s so interesting watching you both switch jobs for a day. Very heartfelt stories as well

Hello, today's video shows the life of a person who lives a very dynamic life and introduces a flip book.
It was great to see them raising their lives and hobbies in a balanced way. The conversation between the two of you was also interesting.
Watching the video makes me want to make flipbooks over and over again. If I ever finish a flip book, I'll upload a video too.

Machinery is no joke when you're running it for the first time! My husband was a timber faller up in minnesota/Wisconsin for years. One weekend we went out- he was suppose to use the forwarder to pick up the wood that had been cut down the day before and move it to the landing. There were so many buttons on the joysticks!! It was very nerve wracking to try and operate that thing, being worth a lot of money, and I was so afraid I was going to break it! Lol but it was an experience I'll never forget!!

It's funny you talked about digging holes. My friend and I always love digging holes in our backyards in fact on Tuesday we started making an underground room, we dug most of it out and are almost ready to put a roof on top. We always want to be the best at hide 'n' seek! Love the channel!

Also, love your updated channel photo, it looks nice! will you be posting more videos or clips on your second channel (Andymation extras)? I would be exited to see some more. Maybe you could do some behind the scenes of some of your vids on andymation extras? Updates of when videos will be late/ early/ what time they will come would be nice too!

As a CNC router and Panel saw operator in a factory dirt under the nails is common for me. Sitting and getting words on a screen or in this case turning something in your mind into an animation isn't something I usually don't do. Mostly because I'm playing in the dirt of my garden or cutting wood for RVs.
Ingrasall rand also sponserd some NASCAR championships the main impact wrench they use is the ingrasall rand thunder gun it would be cool if you made a flipbook of thunder gun impact wrench taking off lug nuts and removing the tire of a stock car.
Very epic video! I would love to see more content that isn't just about flipbooks, but also having a meaning to it as well!

Oh man I absolutely loved using a mini excavator a few times, It's so satisfying to be able to get in a rhythm and go from having a flat lawn to having a huge network of trenches in only a few hours!
Side note... hire someone who knows what they are doing when your replacing a leach field... don't give your daughter a mini excavator and say here dig some trenches LOL! But I sure had fun doing it.

Wow Jason has pretty cool ingrasall rand steam roller I didn't even now that they made steam rollers I thaut they only made impact drills and air compressors ingrasall rand is known for making very good tools too.
