Another unbuildable lego set that confused me is very similar to the harry potter set. In the 2019 20th anniversary slave 1 set on step 190, the instructions call for a Technic, Pin Double with Axle Hole. The actual piece in the set looks very similar yet slightly different because it is an updated version of the previous piece. The previous piece/ the first version of the piece has wider technic pins, which allows a stick to be inserted into the technic pins. However, on the new version that is provided, the stick can't fit inside the technic pins and it will damage the piece if you try.

I think the tire mistake was actually on purpose, considering there are designs for inside the tire and the outside the wheel inside, which wouldn't exist if it was an accident
not to mention that there is absolutely no way that someone could look at that artwork and wouldn't notice the fact that 2 massive pieces are completely askew.
i noticed 2 headlights coming apart (or together) in a similar fashion as the tires on the front too

9:30 that was absolutely intentional. the art clearly depicts the Minifig using an hourglass and magic to assemble the vehicle. look at the headlights that aren't in place yet either.
For the Dreamzzz tyre one you said that all the other parts are attached, but the headlights aren't either. This is completely intentional.
Lucky me, I don’t look at how many pieces I need but just build it based on the picture
Funny, when my son's get a set with miscoloured pieces or missing optional parts (like 'ammo') and ask "Is this second hand?" I can now say - no, some Lego sets are just like that... just ignore the pre-applied stickers, the pieces being in clingfilm bags and the sellotaped box!
No shame in second hand. Lego is very expensive

It’s not an error. There are some headlight 1x1 round tiles floating as well, about to be attached.
I have the hagrids hut and I don't recall having that problem 😮

Hey Spitbrix! I found an error in the 60439 Lego space science lab in manual 2 step 11 you add a piece but in the next 6 pages it disappears.
1:27 - same thing in 7659 cocpit, also one more mistake noticed. I built it MiSB just 2 days ago.
On step 20 in the NASCAR Cheverlot Camera NEXT GEN set, when you build the engine pistons, one of the pins are just floating in the air. This can only be seen in the Lego app where you build your legos. This mistake cannot be found in the instructions book.
Thanks for the heads up on the Nya X mech. I hadn't built mine yet. I remember having an issue with Chang'e Moon factory (80032) where when building the robot rabbit I was missing 2 or 3 pieces. After a bit I decided to check the other bags to see if anything else was missing and they ended up being in the next bag.
Hey spitbrix, I noticed a different mistake in the tantive boarding set 75387. On page 108 the instructions tell you that you need a 2x4 black plate but it only tells you to put it to the side. It comes in the set but you’re never told where to attach it to anything. Idk what to do with it and I’d be happy to send pictures.
My Concorde instructions didn't had that flipped page error and I pre ordered it. Which page was up side down, is that page 182? Number is a bit blurry

On page 51 in the First Order Snowspeeder (75100), the numbers for steps 8 and 9 are reversed.

I think I might have noticed the sam x mech mistake when I’m I got it at the end of summer two years ago

8:17 for the tram its actually 9 because of the cockpit piece as well
I have a mistake in my Ninjago Zanes rhino from master of the mountain when they tell you to attach the front feet on the legs then a step or two later one front foot is just floating with the ball joint behind it and it's on a couple of pages actually.
I noticed that while I was building set 75387 and it's the same as some other sets, the extra piece it's to be placed. it's either to be eaten or shoved up owns rear end lmao
Me: “… so do I put the 2x2 plate on the bottom or the top?”

In set number 60439 space science lab, book 2, step 11, a single wight 1×4 plate is added, only to disappear again until step 17, where it's covered up the very next step
For the Samurai X Mech issue, it might just be him because my instructions show it in dark purple
I recently came across another mistake. In the new source dragon of motion (71822), steps 514 and 515 are out of order.
3:14 step 4 would be enough
the first lambo (saying first because I think there could be a second one) actually has two errors. step four also has the same build, but its a proper step. so not even 5 is needed
I wonder with these how many are seen in multiple copies or just a few?
I recently got an R2-D2 set that had two misprinted instruction steps and a lot of extra lego pieces, some that weren't even in the right bag.
It also had an...interesting lego piece in one fo the instructions that didn't seem to do anything. I took pictures of the steps. I should upload them somewhere
Sadly I don't have pictures but I found a tie interceptor versus mandolorian fang fighter in Walmart that had printed on little red dots and bo katan and the fleet commanders blue was an off shade of purple but it was only the first box on the shelf that had it
I just built the “Privet Drive” set and every other step except the last one tells you what bag to grab next for that step. I mean I guess it’s silly that if you are on the last bag there’s no need to call it out, but it was a first time I’ve seen it not be included in the instructions
Luckily, all my LEGO food sets don't have any errors. But it's amazing how people notice those errors!

One thing that is annoying about the sets that come with 2 cars they put all the pieces in the back of tje one book so if your trying to rebuild it it is very hard to know what pieces go with what set......why can't they juat keeo the pieces rhay came woth that build im that builds book instead if combing them?
2:19 the connector cannot be placed when the instruction shohws it, because the axle has a stud at the end. It has to be placed before the L parts. So there are two mistakes in this instanve
In the instructions for 75153 - AT-ST Walker, there is a 1x1 round tile with a Thermal Detonator print, but a couple pages later, you can see the tile is completely blacked out. I'm not sure if this has been yet included in one of your videos, but I am just mentioning it.

Noticed a potential illegal building technique on 60407 Red Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus.
Step 116 has you put a 1x1 brick with studs on all sides into a 1x2 technic brick with pin.
Which I believe is still an illegal build since the pin would be in compression.
Unless Lego changed how the 1x1 brick was molded so that doesn't happen anymore. As there was a more legal way to do that spinning sign build using lightsaber bars and technic pins with studs.
While I was doing the Star Wars one that he mentioned I had the Sam problem
I had that Harry Potter set and I don’t remember having this problem, maybe it was only a few sets
that tram thing is one scary math mistake, lego.
There is also a mistake on kais rising dragon strike the minifigure has gold on its mask but the box art it is completely red.
I have another 2: first the new ucs tie interceptor. When building the cockpit the instructions mix up 2 stickered panels. The other is in the big Mini Cooper. Lego wants you to install another size of windscreen s than included in the set. I mentioned it to customer service and they sent me new ones...also the wrong size. Seems back then all these sets had the wrong windscreen.
I'm not sure printing errors and mistakes can be construed as 'breaking the rules', the title was a bit misleading, I was expecting official Lego sets that managed to slip illegal building techniques into the build.
However having said all that, in terma of printed instructions, I often find it a little frustrating that you have to get used to the way they represent a particular shade of colour especially tiny pieces, because I'll see a dark grey smooth stud when they want me to use a black one (or maybe it's the other way round). The transparent pieces too when I sometimes wonder if that's orange or if that's a red one.
Set 3059 has many many instruction errors, like on page 12

In my 60372 lego city police training academy in book five step 194 it says to add a large blue plate but on the picture it also shows four 1x4 plates in the same color which are asked to be placed on step 195

on the disney film reel,that is just to show the film. its not telling you that the film goes outside the camera

I found an error in my lego speed champions (set 76909 Mercedes w12 f1 and project one)
On booklet 2 ,step 88, page 92 on 3d mode of lego builder, i found a misprint of the 2x4 slope piece that has the grill print on the slope and not the side. I got the piece that's in the correct printing, but not on the app because the grill is shown on the side but on the app, it's printed on the slope, and I was like, "wait WHAT?", so all that confusion was for nothing.
