We have just come back from Florida, everyday we was in the parks we looked out for you! I personally loved Genie+, if you knew how to play the game you could roll ride to ride and not be running around the park all day. Especially when you combine it with other ride strategies (early entry, modify, stand-by, etc…).
I’ll be interested to put this new system to the test on our next trip.
It looks like it will be advantageous to arrive early in order to have more options available once you use your first lightening lane. It will also be interesting to see how planning 3 days in advance works out.

Hi Nate! I really wish the genie+ system stayed the same.. I had a feeling what happened to you would happen. I love being able to be spontaneous with our choices and stacking them for later in the day, especially if we know it's going to be a scorcher and we go in the evening. Agree Nate, Tortuga would have been cool as a lounge with tables,snacks and drinks( and ceiling fans too) ot was a favorite spot, to get a snack ,cause it was usually quieter then most other quick services.

My thoughts on not being able to book much after... I would take into consideration all the Disney blogger/vloggers are testing the new system out on the same day. It may be heavy today due to this. Maybe in a few weeks it would be better? Just my thoughts.
Charging my phone at Magic Kingdom feels like a side quest in a video game. Next mission: find an outlet! They're going to need to do something beyond selling fuelrods in the parks if they want to keep relying on phone apps.Your excitement for the day is contagious! Even with the challenges, it’s clear you had a blast at Magic Kingdom. Every new system has growing pains, it seems like they kept the number of LL low on the first day.

I’m sorry to see that you only got to ride three rides for that extra money you paid. Hmmmm I like the old days of picking the fast passes at no extra charge. I don’t know why Disney charges people extra. I wish they wouldn’t as it is expensive enough. I hope as things go on it will be easier to ride more of the popular rides. Thanks for sharing Nate.
