Plaster of Paris Scent Sachet

This is a great quick craft to freshen up your drawers and closets!
Use Plaster of Paris and fragrance or essential oils to create a scent sachet. The ratio that always works for us is 2:1 of plaster to water.

thanks for this tutorial - just a quick question, do you have to add the oil into the mixture prior to casting it, or can you add droplets of the oils once it has fully cured? reason i ask is that I looking to create similar items as what you have cast, however dont want to add any fragrance to the mixture as want to allow the customer to spray, drop any fragrance of their own choice - thanks Liz.

You can do either/or/both! I made them here with the oil in the mixture, but I successfully "recharged" them with a different scent a few months later, so you can give them out without any scent and just share instructions for adding drops.

@@twpofwashingtonpubliclibra715 thank you so much..one last question (sorry forgot to initially ask) so aside from essential oils, people can use room sprays if they wish or perhaps their favourite perfumes / aftershave as well?

Yes, it's silicone so it's very easy to remove the plaster and clean it it!
