good morning. I'm your new subscriber, I'm from Switzerland, your videos are wonderful, your voice is so serene that it sounds like a lullaby. you are wonderful thank you so much for passing on your knowledge if I could I would do them all. but I'm already taking notes❤❤❤❤
I love this idea, thank you for showing it. I have made these kinds with candle wax and it breaks. Does this kind made of plaster of Paris break if it falls ?
Yes you can Patricia :). Mica colours them nicely but if you use too much you can get a pearlised look, Acrylic paints or water based cosmetic colours work too
This is pretty. Can you tell me how long approximately the fragrance will last? I would like to sell some for Christmas, but was wondering about how long the customers could expect fragrance. Thanks.
Would the trick of using polysorbate-80 work with similar room fresheners made with beeswax instead of plaster of Paris? Many thanks. Lovely video as usual. It looks super. I think my women's group would love making these!
Hi Sarah. I'd love to make these to sell alongside my current craft business. Can you tell me if there are any restrictions or licences I need to look into beforehand? Thanks a lot Angela x
According to Britannica.com: plaster of paris, quick-setting gypsum plaster consisting of a fine white powder (calcium sulfate hemihydrate), which hardens when moistened and allowed to dry. Known since ancient times, plaster of Paris is so called because of its preparation from the abundant gypsum found near Paris.

We use around 3% fragrance in ours :)

The scent lasts for several months but can be refreshed with a few drops of oil
@@SoapSchoolUK Thank You for your response.
Do we just have to put a few drops of oil on the bars?
Will appreciate your help!

Dear share I appreciate you ❤️
Hi Sarah. I'd love to make these to sell alongside my current craft business. Can you tell me if there are any restrictions or licences I need to look into beforehand? Thanks a lot Angela x
Hi Angela, In the UK and EU they would still need labelling with CLP information and general use instructions but thats about it :)
Hi! Do you know if the plaster powder is toxic after it has dried out and before use?
Plaster of paris is widely used for scented blocks and air fresheners
How long does the scent last?
A couple months but its easy to add a few drops of oil and refresh them anytime so they last years
Plaster paris is made of?
According to Britannica.com: plaster of paris, quick-setting gypsum plaster consisting of a fine white powder (calcium sulfate hemihydrate), which hardens when moistened and allowed to dry. Please kindly tell why my mixture breaks or brittle? thanks
Normally if there is too much lye if its brittle
