    I love this idea, thank you for showing it. I have made these kinds with candle wax and it breaks.
    Does this kind made of plaster of Paris break if it falls ?

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  2 года назад +1

      Yes you can Patricia :). Mica colours them nicely but if you use too much you can get a pearlised look, Acrylic paints or water based cosmetic colours work too

    Hi! Do you know if the plaster powder is toxic after it has dried out and before use?

    • @SoapSchoolUK

      Plaster of paris is widely used for scented blocks and air fresheners

  • @lalenap8407

    How long does the scent last?

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  2 года назад +2

      A couple months but its easy to add a few drops of oil and refresh them anytime so they last years

    Plaster paris is made of?

    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  2 года назад +1

      According to Britannica.com: plaster of paris, quick-setting gypsum plaster consisting of a fine white powder (calcium sulfate hemihydrate), which hardens when moistened and allowed to dry. Known since ancient times, plaster of Paris is so called because of its preparation from the abundant gypsum found near Paris.
