- hiii guys!!! one more original song for you :)
i wrote this song last year when i was going through a moment where i felt very insecure about myself and my life. even though i have friends that understood what i was going through and supported me, i still felt very isolated because i couldn’t even understand me (i still can’t lol). the thing is: it’s very difficult to meet other people’s expectations and i didn’t want to feel like i was behind, i just wanted to live my life without stressing over things that don’t really matter at the end of the day. it’s ok not to be the best at something and not have answers to every single question, we’re not born knowing everything. sometimes we are our worst enemies and our judgments hold us back from doing things that we love.

I went through similar thing last few weeks. I am feeling way better now. But I felt extremely empty and pointless inside after I stopped doing my favorite things for about a month( I used to write code or programming daily for more than 5 hours). Even though my hobby is different to what most people do (and hard for people to relate with), but I realized last week that everyone should chase after what the inner-self/subconscious wants, and 11/10 they are not money/appearance/fame. Luckily I have friends that support and understand me who dragged me out of the pit I was walking into and I started coding again, immediately (probably in half a day) I felt my true self coming back. Except the fact that every one should never stop doing what they love, this dark path I walked into also taught me how absolutely important and paramount friends are. They completes my personality as much as my hobbies do. This epiphany reminded me of the idea that every person is born incomplete/deformed mentally but only gradually fulfilled by communicating with other people and the inner-self.
