Mediatek always have heating probs
I play a lot of intense games on my Realme 1 6gb variant. Only noticed slight heating above camera when playing for more than a half hour, which you should expect from any phone

If realme 1 have fingerprint sensor in same price point then this phone definitely beat redmi note 5 pro. Because redmi note 5 pro not that much good for price 15k. As compared to note 5 pro many other companies gives very good specifications in even low price , like asus.

Mali g72 mp3 is a bit weaker than adreno 509. But helio P60 is better than SD 636. So Redmi note 5 pro is a better gaming device. Still realme 1 is a killer :)

Q) How do you set the snooze interval for the alarm?
I mean even my oldest nokia phone had this feature! And this is a 'smart'phone. Don't get me wrong. The phone is awesome and I'm loving it. It's just that I can't snooze for 10 minutes anymore, which is very important to me. Coz I enjoy sleeping with repeat snoozing. Yes, you can use third party app but that's not the best option and all those annoying ads!
By the way, this was not a trick question and I definitely recommend realme to anyone in this budget range. I am using 4/64gb version.
PS: oppo can fix this anytime with a software update. Hope I'll get it soon.

Nitin Kataria yes.. exchange this one for a 'time piece' or may be a different phone which has a proper alarm system? Or just wait till oppo notices the bug and decide to fix it. Im guessing that the guy in the video gets phone from manufacturers for review, so I thought may he can bring the matter to oppo's attention. Thus my comment. But looks like there are way too many comments or he just don't read comments at all.

Dear Ranjit, We are proud of your unbiased, honest and quickest review of each phone when it get launched in the market in India, I would request you add "video calling" feature as well in your future smart phone review along with Photo & video testing, since it is critical how it takes down the battery life and how the phone substantiate the front facing camera in low light condition while having a video calling (Since most of the complain is that the recipient is not able to see the face clearly in long run call and request the caller to move to a bright spot for clear face look)

Apart from too many applications (especially background and uncleaned one) the chipset doesn't slow down by much and it happens with all (Snapdragon as well) and at same rate for same technology eg. 12nm , 14nm etc.
What really happens is that your battery weakens and to compensate the fall in current the chipset reduces the performance. Cheaper phones buy cheaper regulators,sensors etc. for onbaord chipset so their relibilty for 1-2 years is ok but it falls down drastically after that.

phone is realy nice in this price,only the issue is with finger scanner ,u will miss it in night time or in dark,because u have type code for that and during daylight the screen does not light up even if u increase brightness the display will be dull,but only in daylight when sunlight falls

Brother, Does this phone has neural processing unit (AI processor) as mentioned on Amazon? does 4GB/64GB version has 2Core NPU? for 3Gb and 6GB version it's mentioned on Amazon that it has 2 Core NPU.
The GPU performance of of Helio P60 is at least 2x down on Snapdragon 63* and 20% down on Snapdragon 625.
So in terms of gaming/3D graphics apps the REALME 1 will be worse off than last years 625 phones.

Only CON is back of phone is not scratch resistance, so i had to use cover. I don't like to use covers with my phones.
