Bought the note 8 pro in early 2020 and this G90T processor is still a gem. Phone works really well till date, probably wouldn't shift to another one in the next 2-3 years.

I m still using REDMI NOTE 4 series 4/64 gb model , I was purchased on 30 May 2017 almost 5 yrs n I don't face any problem in my device n it is right now in superb condition, the most I love about my phone is that my phone is full metalic and I don't face any lag , battery n hang issues after 5 yrs of using this phone which runs on SNAPDRAGON 625 . I m fully satisfy with my device .

When I think about Redmi note 5 series, I some how get emotional☺ for my class 10 memories because a series of interesting events always comes to my mind of that time, and one of those interesting event was the launch of Redmi note 5 series, and that time my English teacher and my Science teacher bought Redmi note 5 pro and one of my friend also bought Redmi note 5.

used redmi note 5 pro, poco m2 pro (note 9 pro), and now using note 10 pro. I used to upgrade because of the specs and all, but decided to stay with note 10 pro as it is the most suitable redmi note ( according to me) till now. I'll not upgrade till it dies completely.

My First Phone was Redmi Note 4 and i still have it. it's been almost 5 years but still it works like a charm and the only issue i faced is with the battery. 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM with 4000mah battery along with SD625 in just under 13k price was the greatest deal at that time.For me Mi Note 4 will always have the special place in my heart ❤️

I used Redmi Note 4 from Diwali 2017 till 2019. My dad continued to use it till last week. He has dropped it so many times till its last drop last week. Its battery has swelled a bit, a sim tray issue, and a broken screen. It still turns on. Anyway, it has been retired. Before that, I had a Redmi 1S from 2015 to 2017.
i have purchased redmi NOTE 3 in june 2016 and still using it.. ya i know it's 6 and half years but believe me it is still working nicely. i changed battery once recently and now it is perfectly running like a new one.

I had a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (non pro) and it has been 3 years since I bought it. Just working fine and there have been compromises on the animations of the UI after the major Android 11 update which it received in Q1/Q2 of 2022.

Like i became a fanboy of my note 7 pro.. years after, i don't see 2019's samsung or vivo phone in those people's hand who purchased !! And here i am; still using this legendary phone without any problem ! 2019 was like a golden era for redmi + my life too ( coz i found my love in oct 2019 😄🤣💝 )

Redmi note 4 was launched in early 2017, at that time this was my Dream Phone. I bought it on August 2017 and 6 years later, still using this phone. I didn't even thought about changing phone from that date. Even after such long time and hardcore usage, it's working so perfect . This phone is my companion.

Nice video! It's been more than 4 years since I've been using Redmi Note 5 pro and it's still functioning nicely! Even the 12MP camera is able to take some nice snaps in the daylight which can be compared with a 48MP sensor. It's build quality is also awesome. The only drawback is that it's software support was eneded after Android 9.0. Other than that, it's a nice daily driver.
I am too a redmi note 5 pro user using it since 2019 and i bought it SECOND HAND it was my first Android phone and ya i have to say it's camera quality is awesome it clicks fantastic photos and overall it's still working nice! The only problem I am facing is the battery discharges too fast and it gets heated a lot and it's acceptable for such a old varient

I still have Redmi Note 4. After so many years it still works great and runs like fluid with Pixel Experience custom rom. Battery has become weak but I am planning to buy a new battery for it. I love my old guy and I would love to use it as my secondary phone.

Bro I am very used to rooting my devices. Luckily I never faced any major issues at least there were no such issues which could not be fixed. If you install custom roms from well known popular and trusted developers you are very safe to go. I never had any issues using pixel experience roms specifically moded to be used in my redmi note 4. In case of banking apps you just have to hide the root manager app like Magisk from those apps. As simple as that and tons of instructions are also available on youtube. Benifits are like your old device feels smooth, you can get latest security updates. If you want anytime you will be able to lock your bootloader again and also be able to go back to your official stock rom.
Just to be on the safe side you have to do some research and use trusted device specific softwares only. With time you will be teaching others👍
My first phone was Redmi note 5(not pro) for 2 years I was fully satisfied with the phone be it performance or Battery life then came infamous MIUI 11 update which absolutely degraded both performance and Battery life of phone and worse part is Redmi never even fixed it nor gave option to downgrade the software.
