I think age is nothing, but a number and life begins at forty, so it makes sense to come in the name of positioning our kids in a good environment. All we pray for is strength from God

Great bideo. Thanks. I'm in this category. 50. Great job, well settled. Only reason I'm considering relocating is to settle my children in a sane society. Once they're well settled in a sane coutry, I don't mind returning home if wifey will agree to return with me.

Yes I would relocate at that age because my reasons are insecurity we face in Nigeria. Is not about money. I will not bother about boredom and the weather. I want a place I will have peace of mind. Yes I would in my 40s or 50s relocate to Canada.

My dear life is not all about living in luxury but peace. Not everyone wants to live in affluence with no peace. Anyone leaving his country at almost retirement is doing so for a comfortable environment. For me it's not a wasted venture. Age is only a number. Make up your mind. Its possible!

In my opinion I think if you are leaving your home country at 50 years old exactly and not 40 you should not sell out your life. Let your investments be there back home as something you can back to at old age. The issue now is what if that’s the only means of you getting finance to immigrate to 🇨🇦 ? What then does one do?

I think if you have opportunity, please move to Canada, most people in their forties and fifties are still collecting minimum wage as salary. Cleaning job in Canada is even better than any bank job in Nigeria.

Do you have to be certain age to move anywhere you feel like? You can move and make change in your well being; nurturing yr family, financially; education; safety, medical care!!!

That's true there are jobless and unemployed people over 40 and 50 in Nigeria, they also have erosion in some parts of Nigeria, talkless of insecurity. Everyone has their destiny, its not just age, infact some people had their husbands or wives divorce them at 40 and have to start a new family all over, even some ladies in Nigeria are over 45 and not yet married, what stops them going overseas to make a new life if rhats where God leads them at the age of 40. I find this video quite negative overall, if it's so bad why are you still there

But to ask a few questions. If God has blessed you in your home country and you have built wealth, and your family is stable, and you are in your 40s and 50s, you sincerely throw all that away to come start your life all over in a foreign country?
The children we all talk about, you have them in good schools, and can fund their university education abroad whrn the time for that comes.
Your business is flourishing, and you live in a good neighbourhood. Why cant yoh just visit or come on vacation abroad and come home to continue your life. Africans have been wired to have a very low self esteem regarding this abroad thing. Thats why any video about travelling abroad sells very well.
In this same Nigeria, people built empires that their children will inherit. We alway talk of insecurity, children's future etc as a reason to thrash all we have laboured for, and come to start struggling all over in a foreign land ,just bc we feel whatever we had back home is inferior. It must be abroad. Whereas the foreigners you are running to their countries are also moving to yours to tap into opportunities you are condemning bc of the inferior mindset and self hate.
The system of the west is already peogrammed to keep you living like a clock and you finally come home old without the same children bc they have grown in a foreign system and have no desire for their homelands. You end up alone at old age. But for now, its a japa craze and if you dont key in, you are not doing well among your peers. Let the black man think, we are also part of the government we always condemn.

at the age 45 and 50 is tough to get a pension at 65. that means you need to own your business' or win a lottery to be able to raise your family at that age. and if your wife or husband leaves you then life becomes a nightmare at that age.

@@diamondsinnations trust me whoever makes more money among them will pay child support for the kids and the other partner and lose half of their pension . I have seen lots of people lose their mind and commit suicide .

Please as a diploma student, can the 20hrs weekly job pay my bills including school fees?
That will be very tough . Try to pay all your school fees before coming
The school fee is about $15k. Which is about #9m.

I am aware of the financial resources needed. My confusion is the filling of the application forms. In the IMM129 form, name of the employer is required but my understanding is that open work permit does not require any job offer, however one cannot proceed without filing this section of the application form. Please how do I handle this part? Thank you
