A respectful correction Plumbing in Canada is a government regulated mandatory trade . To do plumbing work in Canada legally, you have to complete a 4 year apprenticeship, attend technical college 2 months per year for 4 years pass all government regulated exams each year then write a provincial and federal exams at the end of you're 4 year apprenticeship becoming a qualified Journey person plumber. There are many of mandatory trades in Canada as Electrician, HVAC etc. Unqualified people attempting this work can lead to serious legal consequences, extremely high monetary fines and even jail time. I don't want to see anyone suffer because they don't understand the rules and regulations in home repairs. If you want me to guide you to local provincial and federal websites feel to contact me.
