BLS service is horrible! I have been trying to get an appointment for months. I cannot begin to explain how horrible their website is. PLUS NOT A SINGLE APPOINTMENT FOR MONTHS. NO HELP FROM THEM!! I cannot believe that the Spanish consulate allow these people to represent them in such as way. USELESS SCAMMERS!

Hi i was applying an appointment and my payment was done. But it prompted that payment hasn’t come through they will confirm the appointment once they receive it. Issue was during the application process my page had froze and i did refresh it one point however it still did take me to payment. Do you think its wise to wait or start a new appointment application?

Hi, Skatz, thanks so very much for all you help on your channel, I'm at my wits end trying to get an appointment at London office BLS for NLV, trying for over a week, email, phone number from Chris @ Upsticks and the BLS website which now doesn't recognise my login details? Also a strange keyboard when inputting password. I can't speak to Chris by phone for weeks it seems. Please help me if you have updated info. My best peas and fluff ! Emma B

Hi Skatz thanks for all the information. I am starting the process for a NLV for my mum. She qualifies for all the financial, ACRO and S1 perspectives as well as being medically clear from infectious issues. My main question is that she has a diagnosis of dementia. Is this going to be any issue when submitting the application? (I will of course attend with her…). Many thanks
In terms of healthcare she’s covered with the S1. I would imagine they will want to know about what care is in place for her as her condition progresses.
Thank you. That’s good to know. She will be able to employ a private care worker through her pension to help support her, plus I will be with her too. If she needs to eventually live in a nursing home she can afford this privately too through pension and savings. Thank you for your help. Heya Skatz, My wife is currently in the UK on Tier 2 Skilled worker visa and I'm in the Spain with PR. She wants to visit spain and we want to go to places. Since she's from asia she needs a visa, we already applied for a 90 days visa and it has just ended. We are planning to get longer visa and not only 90 days, what visa is the one we should apply, there is so little information about what each subtype visa mean.
I’m a little confused by your situation. I would consult an immigration lawyer because it sounds like a Schengen Visa will be necessary to be in the EU and also some kind of Spanish visa if your wife wants to live with you in Spain. I don’t know how having just finished a 90 day visa will affect what she can do.
Basically what we want is a tourist visa but not of 3 months, since Tourist visa is a short term(90 days) visa. She isn't planning to reside in Spain but visit it frequently without having to apply visa every 3 months.
@@btrn_1995 if she’s only visiting then the tourist visa is the only choice, and as far as I know she’d have to apply wherever she wants to visit.

Hi Skatz, don't know if you can help me? I'm a UK citizen, but haven't lived in the UK for some 20 years. Travelling in the USA, Mexico, then lived in Guatemala for 12 years. Now been travelling in South America for 2 years. So where do I apply?
For Spain Non Lucrative Visas, you apply at the nearest consulate to where you’re officially resident and have proof of address. So that might be a bit tricky for you, are you registered anywhere?

Are you going on holiday, or moving to Spain? If it’s a holiday you don’t need a visa appointment.
