R.Y.N.O. 8 looks like a creation from someone who has never player a Ratchet game in their life... They basically made it a regular weapon of mass destruction, except it can't even mass destruct 😢
I always forget that the RYNO 3 base weapon is a combo of the 1st 2. It levels up sooo quickly you don't even get to enjoy it before it changes to the insta screen nuke, which i personally don't care for. Call me old school but I'm a sucker for the first 3, 3rd one being base form more than final
The RYNOcinerator is probably the only weapon in *every* game me and my younger brother felt "we shouldn't have this powerin our hands" and "wouldn't wish that on our worst enemy".

i think it's worth mentioning that the "other dimensions" the RYNO 8 can bring things from are OTHER PLAYSTATION GAMES! i swear, i once saw it drop SLY COOPER'S VAN on an enemy! (you need to upgrade it with "Raritanium" at a vendor, in addition to leveling it up, to pull that off)
Ryno: 7/10 Not bad at all but its drawback is it’s got a non consecutive rate of fire. Ryno 2: 8/10 Faster projectiles makes it better and the consecutive fire is great. However, the tracking doesn’t allow for selective firing. In future rynos, aoe is king with full auto. Zodiac: 6/10 Great for crowd control….. buuuuut lack luster in consistency. Ry3no: 6/10 It’s a rocket launcher shotgun. Meh. It’s consistent but lacks the a considerable amount of versatility. Rynocirator: 6.5/10 It’s like the zodiac but has more range. Cool. Harbinger: 8/10 Great damage plus lots of aoe, it’s only held back by fire rate. Ryno SM/SAC: 2/10 It’s just a multi barrel rocket launcher. If I want something better, I’ll go with the judicator thanks. Rynocerator: 7/10 Muuuuch better, a one hit cluster slugger is much more effective. Still uninspired and it’s semi auto. Ryno 4: 9/10 This thing is a death dealer, you point, it dies. It also does massive damage to bosses. It’s only drawback is it’s ammo, it’s not much. Ryno 5: 10/10 Death, mayhem, chaos, destruction, all wrapped up neatly into a god gun of immeasurable power. It’s literally a rocket launcher minigun that never stops firing until you are out. All the while is plays classical music! Utterly magnificent! Ryno protosuit: 8/10 It’s a rocket slinging mech suit, what’s not to love? Ryno 6: 9/10 It’s a weaker version of the ryno 5 with slower projectiles, does that detract from its ability to destroy? Nah! Ryno Remake: 4/10 It’s a ryno 6 with the model of a ryno 4. What?! And it kinda sucks! Ryno 8: 8/10 So here’s the deal with this one. It’s actually not too powerful of a ryno but it scores major points for two important reasons. Number one, it’s effectively a weaponized dimensionator. Number two, it effectively utilizes the whole premise of the game for the express purpose of killing. Yes!
Ryno 3 is basically Zodiac, but with 50 ammo, much better range and bonus damage (if you shoot straight in the face if the Enemy). Easily one of the most overpowered rynos ever, cause you Don't even need to shoot in the Enemies direction.
Except it’s also in a game where the very first weapon in the game effectively does the zodiac’s function but even wider range then the ryno 3. The range of the charge shots is at least twice as wide. So yeah easily one of the worst rynos as it’s the only one outclassed by the starting gun
Theres probably a reason almost all of the RYNOs before 8 are multip projectile weapons... because unless it knocks off a stupid ammount of HP with each trigger pull it feels weak. Welp, R8 is probably the weakest one anyhow despite its premise.
I know Ratchet and Clank rift apart introduced us Rivet and Kit and their dimension. But it does feel like they didn't put much effort into with Ratchet and Clank, and it is their game franchise
yeah it feels more like a cameo weapon than a missle laucher like the previous ones. i love the camoe from other games and so but, don't do it with a ryno
I missed Neferious with it. My friend sat next to me and we were utter dumbstruck, thank God the Megaton Collider and Toapiary Sprinkler exists in the game or I woulda refunded in a heart beat
I really wanted to see what ryno 1 would’ve looked like in the remake…. But instead I was left disappointed when I found out that instead of modifying this ryno to match with the modern day ratchet and clank games. They instead just reuse ryno 4 from tools of destruction with ryno fives fire power.
the up your arsenal and into the nexus rynos kind of suck in my eyes. mainly because their good for wiping out crowds of enemies but fall kind of flat when fighting bosses. for super weapons you expect to see a health bar get ripped to shreds. but that's not the case for up your arsenal or into the nexus.
I haven't played ItN in 5 years, but I remember the R.Y.N.O. VII did melt through Mr. Eye's healthbar. It wasn't as fast as other R.Y.N.O.s in the series but, compared to all the other weapons in ItN, it was hella fast (Mr. Eye is a bullet sponge)
Y'know I think looking back at it the Size Matters RYNO probably was my favorite despite costing an arm and a leg even for size matters standards. The sound is satisfying as hell, and the screen nuke upgrade feels way better than the RYNO 3's screen nuke somehow. Like with the RYNO 3 it made me sad to see it's focus taken off of the rockets and just turned into a zodiac without the stationary windup but the Size Matters RYNO (which would technically be the RYNO IV I think) just hits all the marks for me. Underrated weapon and game. (I still like the RYNO V and onwards system of "shred everything with hollow lead" more but the RYNO IV is definitely the best Rocket based RYNO)
I feel constantly making a new version of the RYNO with a new number kinda killed the gun for me, I think would have been cool if the OG RYNO was the most powerful gun in the Solana Galaxy, that way you could free up other weapons to be their Galaxies pinical weapon as well Solana has the RYNO Bogon has the Zodiac Polaris can have whatever that stupid future series wants because R&C pretty much ends after Deadlocked and feels more like fanfiction then really part of the series

RY3NO feels more powerful as missile launcher. In its V5, although good of crowd control, it does feel like a glorified zodiac.

RY3NO is the worst IMO, at least the upgrade. Made the weapon so boring
