They turn themselves off automatically if the GPU temp is under 60°C!

It's been about 10 years since my last build. This plus a Ryzen 7 and I think I'll be good. Funny thing is I'm a very mild gamer. Using more for business, but this overall performance will by far exceed anything I'll ever need.

el ruido de los ventiladores es normal a partir de esta tecnología, por su nuevo sistema de ventilación que se activa a partir de ciertos grados ( las RTX también lo tienen), pero tranquilo es normal y es depende de ciertas actividades o juegos,
solo preocúpate si tienes un bajón de rendimiento repentino o llegas a los casi 90 grados en la gráfica, porque también es un signo de que debes limpiar y hacer cambio de la pasta térmica (así como los procesadores)

Just the difference in the factory overclock, but you can do that on your own with manual overclock.

Definitely Gtx 1660 super in some games but for the price of gtx 1660 super. You can already get the rx 5600 xt which far beyond the performance of gtx 1660 super.

I applied your overclocking settings to my gpu in afterburner and all i got was a loss of signal from the gpu to the screen. Its a 1080p (1920x1024) running at 60hz so did i just overclock it too much for the screen to handle or something?
Lower down the GPU and/or video memory clocks, and test it (with like 3DMark Time Spy loop or Unigine Heaven) until it gets stable!

The cooling the ventus has a smaller cooler so it could run hotter
I would go for the gaming x or if want to use something like gigabyte go for the gaming oc with 3 fans by gigabyte

I got this card and it is loud when i play games and when i turn the games off....my old gpu the radeon rtx 580 4gb was a loud but at least quieted down when i turned the game off

Yes it is. I jumped from RX480 (similar to 1060) to this very card. Around 20%-ish more performance. On 1080p playing eSports games - I'm having fun. As bonus, it's a very good looking gpu, rgb + slick design + metal black plate.

The GTX 1660 is weaker GPU because GTX 1660 Super series is generally faster because of the faster memory

I got an MSI Ventus brand new that does so I'm taking it back to Microcenter to get the GamingX because it's sooo annoying. This was the very last Ventus they had in the store too

@Eli Skinner 2600 is irrelevant. Get either a 1600af off or Newegg for 101 dollars. It's literally a 2600 minus 1-2fps. Get that or a 2600x for better performance without a lot of extra money spent.

It depends on where you live and do you have AC, so it's hard to tell since the variables can differ. For example, where I live, the ambient temperature is now about 2-3°C more than, although outside today way well over 30°C, but I do cool off my flat with AC.
