@@NachoAverageFinds No way. He wasn't good enough to make it to the majors, but just being a semi-decent minor leaguer was an amazing achievement for someone who hadn't played competitively for 15 years.
Jordan 10 is the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn of all the sneakers I have ever worn for my wide feet. The lacing system is absolutely top notch. The design is streamlined and is underrated in a fashion context. The list of accomplishments on the sole is pretty neat. I bought my very first pair of Jordan retro in 2016. It was the Jordan 10 NYC. I love the dark dominant colorway because I knew I would wear them in everyday context and not on the court anymore (since I sucked anyways lol). But I will always love MJ and his sneakers (personal favorites are the 6 black infrared and 10s dark colors).
Not the Seattle but I had the NYC I purchased in 2016. I agree with the level of comfort of the Jordan 10. The ankle padding is great. The lacing system is very streamlined and smooth (rounded laces). and the cushioning was more than adequate.
10"s were the first pair of Jordan's I ever owned. I saved up money to buy them for $125 in 1995! I had the dark grey ones. I think they are a criminally underrated shoe in the Jordan line.
You should definitely do the Jordan 9 it’s interesting releasing the Jordan 9 when Jordan was playing Baseball. Also seeing those Jordan 9’s in space Jam was interesting.
the 10s in my opinion are the shoes that made me fall in love with Jordans, my first love was baseball and when Jordan went back I followed him to basketball thats when I became a basketball fan and wanting Jordans
Yeah they're an underrated silhouette in the line of Js'. One of the nicest looking in my opinion. That's awesome that you lived through that era. Thanks for watching Bryan!
The AJ10s are truly one of Favorite Silhouettes and also gets over looked because some of the earlier popular retros before it, the 10s will always have ties to the Number 45.
I have been an NBA/Jordan/Sneaker fan since 1991 and I haven't purchased a real Jordan retro in 2016. It was the Jordan 10 NYC (6:12). I loved it while it lasted. I wore it enough that before it got too worn out, I gave them away at the local Goodwill store. In 2024 I am hoping for another dark dominant colored version of the Jordan 10. I think the "94 Beyond" is everything Michael Jordan will accomplish in the future, whether it's baseball or golf or in this case coming back to the league.
Jordan 10’s are so simple, they’re almost too simple except the soles with the colored lines on the bottom which is honestly the main thing I like about this model.
Watching the Last Dance last year made me appreciate how prolific Michael Jordan was as an ambassador to the game of basketball and to the sneaker industry all it took was two words "I'm Back" and the rest is history.
Your videos as always have good direction, they are informative and, filled with different lil facts that most people don’t know. Keep up the good work and, keep em coming 👍
I was living in the north Chicago burbs at the time these dropped, I believe 5th grade. These WERE the sneakers everybody had on the playground. Still one of my favs to this day, classic Chicago color way
MJ's first time in 'tens' was on Pip's charity All Star Game in Chicago. It was their last game in Chicago Stadium. He wears 'steels' then. Thanks for video!
This is the first Jordan sneaker I remember from when I was growing up. Steel 10's... some kids on an opposing basketball team had them. But I was rocking the Air Penny 1 at the time. Good memories! The SoleFly 10's are super clean as well.
My 12th time watching this single video!! Keep it up my guys, I haves watched every single video. I have also learned a lot and have increased my sneaker knowledge a few levels since I have been subscribed. Appreciate you!
My favorite colorways = the Double Nickel (Chicago) and the Dark Shadow. He wore the Dark Shadow in only 4 games (first round vs the Hornets). Underrated colorway. Black with dark gray and a hint of red.
It’s crazy how Nike managed to mess up so many of Tinker’s designs. The sketch looks so much better than an actual shoe. Jordan 10 could have been a much bigger silhouette for the AJ lineup if they would’ve made this sneaker the way Tinker actually intended it to be.
It's because Phil Knight exploited slaves to make his shoes. You can't rationalize Knight's or Jordan's reasons to commit human right's violations, so they could make an "epic" sneaker. Additionally, Nike brand and the people who buy their shoes, are supporting the CCP's ability to commit genocide in China. The leadership in China/CCP are as bad as Adolf Hitler.
This makes me want to wear my Chicago 10s that I've never worn... they just don't do it for me but you bringing attention to this silhouette makes me think about breaking them out

I am quite indifferent to the Jordan brand but the 4 and the 10 somehow the way they look and the silhouette I really like.

A lot of seeing friends on the funner side of the drive thru window in the summertime lmao (to keep from crying). Anyway, the white/steel 10s I wore longer than any other pair I've ever owned. Why? I think the “94 Beyond” was acknowledging what potential things Jordan would accomplish in his baseball career.
That’s probably it! He probably would’ve made it to the league
The 94 and Beyond is an acknowledgement of the retirement! It was designed while he was retired and 94 and Beyond was the rest of his life
