Looking better every video, Bob. Yellow would not be my first choice, but I guarantee when you're done, it will be a cool ride!
That's one awesome rat Bob you need to put red to work he's always watching n talking love the channel Bob my favorite
Learned something today from you Bob about straightening wire. Thanks! Great work on the grill!
Bob it's coming along nicely so far.
Really good video this week.
Can't wait to see more videos soon Bob. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
I could watch you paint grass as long as you narrated it. Best channel ever
RRB, love the no-tools tire mounting segment along with the #9 wire tutorial including straight(ening) tips from the master! I'm a wait and see on the mellow yellow but I've always dug you patina paint jobs so there's that! Great video and build! Thanks!
Man that grill, those wheels, "fire" as the kids say Bob!
That’s awesome…. Almost like a American Graffiti vibe if they had rat rods back then. Do the fire wall as a checkered flag 😎
Wheels and tires are perfect. Definitely like the look of the yellow on the roof. Gonna be cool when you're done! 👍
Bob, I really like what you’ve done with this. The yellow with black highlights is excellent thank you Bob.
My good sir, your talent runs deep. Thanks for sharing.
All them pieces are going to be a masterpiece someday!! Preciate ya Bob!!
Yes the yellow will be awesome once you apply your magic and keep on doing what you do best and that’s making great looking RAT RODS
I really like the wheel and tire combination. You and Don killed it with the tire mounting. Nice to see old school tire mounting being performed, and without using tire irons. Very impressive. This is your project Bob, paint it the way you like it. The rest of us will just be jealous
U got that right.
You guys made that tire mounting look too easy 😂😂 great tips as usual Bob 👍
Dangit, Bob, those mags look GREAT! Especially on that car!
Ingenuity, grit, and creativity at work in the 100 degree summer heat... makes me wish we were neighbors!
You are a very clever man. Bob I'm learning a lot in these videos, even as a 7 decades 'ancient man'!
Competition orange with a flame pattern in the black antiquing would be my favorite
love the wheel and tire combo!!! keep up the good work! thanks for the videos!!!!
I agree the wheels are spot-on! So many vintage hot rods and customs are ruined by modern pimpy wheels.
Man is that cool or what? I was thinkin American Graffiti when you started this build. Then out comes the yellow! Awesome job as always!!! Keep em comin Bob,watchin and learnin!!!!
You're knocking it out of the park! I can't find words to describe what a great video! The music just rocked! Your Rat Rod building skills are top notch! Keep it up, and what a great car this is gonna be.
Resto Hot Rod Mod, whatever u want to call it, is looking sweet..! the stitches are my favorite.
Red & Black little Yellow thrown in . Looking good
That Rod is looking sharp,Bob keeper'goin. That car signifies your character no matter what color you choose.❤️❤️👍R.C.
I highly admire and respect what you do with a pile of rusted Old shell's, your living legend, living the Dream...🤔👍🏁🇺🇲
WOW! REALLY OLD SCHOOL TIRE MOUNTING AT IT'S BEST. NEVER EVEN THOUGHT OF THE YELLOW. "LET'S PLAY WITH SOME PAINT."
Love the yellow and black ! You have some of the best fabrication and paint techniques on RUclips !!!!!!
Yes l do love the yellow Bob , keep up the great work
Never heard of that wire trick before. Thanks!
Off the chart Ole' Son.! It's a gorgeous Rat, that yellow with the shadowing is on point.
That yellow on the roof is cool and original. I vote for it.
It looks like Don has mounted a few tires on rims before. He made it look way to easy! Lol
Looking forward to the next one for sure!
Loving every episode on this build Bob. I am learning and being entertained simultaneously. Yellow with black antiquing ? Absolutely ! Just be sure to hydrate so we can keep learning from you.
This Model A is looking mighty cool Bob! Enjoying the tunes too!
Bob, you and Don are a great team workin' together! As for the paint, not a fan of lemon yellow. Too bright, and it's been done so many other times on deuce coupes. However, a little darker yellow, kinda like a #2 pencil, would be different and cool, I think. Anyway, it's your rat rod, paint it any dang color you want! The wheels are so badd azz looking, wow! Always have loved the Torq Thrust-D and those center caps, man! What brand tire are those fronts, that have AMERICA lettering on them?
Those front tires with AMERICA on them are not made in America ... I can tell ya that!
@@RatRodBobBuilds 😯😳😲
watching them mount the tires to the rims was the most amazing thing I have ever seen....legit ol' skool....🎉❤
Bob I don't think anybody out here can say anything bad about you and your work! It's simply bad ass!
A lot of people don't like that kind of wheels.but I like them
Wheels and tires… knocked it outta the park!!!! That yellow is growing on me too!
Yellow with the black antiquing will be awesome on this coupe. You are the master of rat rodding Bob!
You got the John Milner look going on. NICE!!!!
That’s a HotRod Brother !! That ain’t no rat rod !! Thanks for another Brother !!
Not really, that car is 1000% rat. It will never be pretty enough to be classified as hot, and many builders have taken stuff like this to become street rods.
Bob, I like the yellow with the black antiquing!
Yellow/red/ orange and black always looks timeless to me classic hotrod combination.
Who needs a tire machine? Looking good Bob! Really coming along
antique yellow all day long Bob! Build is looking AWESOME!
Those wheels are spot on.
Looking awesome as always thanks brother
Hi Bob, I love everything about the Rat. Those wheels are awesome. Think the yellow paint is a bit bright, but I trust all will work out just fine in the end. 👍💪
I think you are the man Bob, yeah the yellow an antiquing with black is going to be SWEET.
Don looks like he’s hand mounted tires on fancy wheels before. Like the grille and new wheels. Good job, Bob, Don and your supervisor, Red. Love the color. Looks like Marty Milners car been sitting in the barn for 65 years. 😮👍🇺🇸🦅
Bob is Always Rockin Some Cool Stuff !! Tanks Bob 👍
Snazzy!! Cool stuff. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
You're the King of RAT!... KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK... Bob
Nice technique for straightening wire. I imagine you can double triple the wire as well.
When the wire twisted back on itself and created that loop you got what we call 'an a$$hol3' in the wire.
Bob, you and Don are gonna look good cruising in that bad boy. You always seem to make good decisions. Carry on. 👍
Love it Bob, keep up the stealer work.
Old school ,cool music and bad ass hot rod .nice work mr bob .👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
Yes in 64 this was a dream car. But all I could afford was 47 Chevy Coupe. But the Olds engine broke the bank and the oil pan. Daylight seeking pistons uh oh! Keep it up Bob. Your doing great. Stay cool. D
Couldn’t have picked better looking wheel. Congrats on the amazing progress on this ride.
Keep going Bob your doing it right and yes keep the yellow with black. It will all come together as long as you build it the way you see it.
I got to give it to you man that looks cool you are a true artist nice job Bob
Love the grill work Bob, thanks for showing me how to straighten out the wire, I like the yellow with the black on it looks good ! Tire and wheel combination looks Great on it !
I love the yellow antique idea Bob looks good.
Bob I'm digging it yeah yellow looks good
It looks really cool Bob! That yellow and black, not to sure about. Maybe add a little green to it. One thing for sure Ive seen your past builds, And what ever color they are they look Awesome !
That wire straightening was the slickest thing I saw today!
Them wheels is super nice! I’m diggin that yellow, Bob! Your an artist!
You're the man Rob. I love the tires and rims. Yellow, IDK. I used to like yellow. Not sure it'll work here. But you always amaze with your artistic ways. I wish I knew your history. You are very knowledgeable. You rebuild engines, trannies, rear ends and all. Something I always wished I could do. My little brains doesn't allow it though. Great job.
I am really liking the yellow, old school color. Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for the info on the wire. Looking good, Bob. It doesn't hurt to join the two, sometimes. Ronnie.
Hell yes Bob. Love the yellow. Looking old school cool!!!
I'm glad to see you have a helper with you. it's too HOT to try and work your magic by yourself. Keep on truckin freind.
Yellow antique looks cool on your rat hot rod , real cool 😎 I’d look cool driving it around when it’s finished, it’ll be a head turner For sure👍
Make sure you come and get me bob for the first ride 😁👍❤ love the stitches it's perfect bob hey have a great night and a better tomorrow
Hey Bob I like that music that started playing at 7 :15. And I have been watching your vids for a few years now. My old man passed away when I was 32 and I felt I was jipped from his school of Rat rod allogie. But I'm mid 50' and now and I can't wait until I can share what I've learned. My old man used to Work for George Barris and I have picks of my dad ,Bob Ormiston working on some of these cars. He was a very good fiberglass guy and custom painter. We always owned the fastest boats and cars in our neighborhood. I grew up on Wooten Lake in Belfair Washington and people would build special built I was wat1 off boats to try and smoke us. . I rember my dad and me racing this one guy with an inline 6 Merc and his boat was made from a wood frame and 1/4 Doorskin wood. Super thin and kinda strong for the times. We were side by side and I was sitting in the passenger seat of my dad's boat and I was watching his boat quiver like it was getting the speedshakes. But he held tight and pressed on but my dad was just messing vwirh him and. Then showed him who was King of the Lake. It was so much fun back then. I still have fun as long as I don't watch the news like you all should. Love your Vids, and especially the metal work, shrinking and stretching are some things my old man never got to in depth. He'll if I didn't ask he never even thought about it. Paying bills .....Rip old man, love ya.
Love the yellow paint!
Looking cool with Antique Yellow. Great work on the grill Bob👍👍
Hmmmmm? I’m not sure I’m feeling it. I like the way the stitches look, gotta agree with ya there. That particular yellow seems like it has a bit of green hue. Love the tires and wheels! I was thinking Destroyer gray (like the wheel centers) with the black antiquing would look sick. But hey, you do you! 😎
Even those patches in the back look cool because there's one on each side they Match.
A true artist at work, you are a legend in your own time bob, we salute you and your work, Live long and prosper, a rat bob rod 😂,
Nice work as always Bob
Milner's Coupe after a rough Saturday night. Looking cool Bob!
Thanks for the video Bob!
I loved this video. the grill build was amazing thanks for sharing how you did it. I have good news My van is now tagged and in my name. Your videos are so informative and help full. Keep up the great work the mags and new tires are so awesome. I love yellow I painted my old sportster yellow with purple flames.
Hey Bob think the car is coming along nicely, yellow is not my favorite but with your touches it will look cool, car has a nice rake and love the wheels love to have it sitting in my driveway, everything is making it little nicer everytime you do something, keep on keeping on Bob looking forward to seeing the next video, you rock brother!!! FN love it!!!!
Hell ya that black and yellow looks outstanding looking like a bermiz tiger ready to claw thank u and done for being master rod builders cant wait god bless yall stay cool
So awesome love the wheels 👍🏽 it will be great yellow has American Graffiti vibe back from the grave ☠️ great seeing Red back to thanks Bob 🤙
Awesome as always. Great tip on wire straightening. Stoked to see Red back again! Only trouble spot I see is matching the bottom of the door line and cowl with the bottom of the rear quarters. Be nice to see that bead roll from the back continue across the door bottom or something. Whatever u decide it's gonna b freaking awesome
Love the finish on the roof in yellow, the grill surround could do with a bit more antiquing maybe so it doesn’t get too bright and shiny, takes the eye away from the centrepiece…The grill itself is amazing! The wire tip will come in handy when I’m making scrap ornaments👍
I love what you do with the paint it awesome looking, yellow is not my color though, it looks good
Love the TORQ THRUSTS WITH Cheater slicks, have no complaints at all!!
Its really starting to wake up now Bob! Looking sharp! I do like the yellow too!
Yellow looks great,,,all the way from arizona!
You nailed that paint, Bob! That distressed yellow looks good.
Lookin good Bob !!!
Hey Bob i really like the barbed wire effect you put on the car and the yellow and Black antique it very COOL
Bob my friend, I am really digging the color with the black, love the wheel choice 👍
Better every video. Yellow is a classic Hot Rod color and stitched it's the perfect Rat Rod. Bob, you do exceptional work. Only cover them tires and rims up when you spray paint please. 😂❤ Never know I might want to buy this rig. If I could.
It’s definitely going to stand out, Cuz!
They yellow really looking good, antiquing is looking great!!!!
Good idea of straining that wire, never seen that done before!
