Tell them Rat Rod Bob sent ya!
what all you gonna do to this car yet?
It's raw ... it's bad a$$ as is ... it's perfect! Well other than making it run perfect and maybe some carpet and sound deadening on the inside and rear nerf bars and license plate frame and fiber optic lights on the inside and ... and ... well you get the picture.
But ... since Wesley has a lot invested in it, I let him take it home and play with it while I clean my shop and get ready for the next project. www.youtube.com/@KeyesKustoms/videos
in other words its a long was from being done
It's done enough we started tuning it and test driving. For me .. they are never done completely, I'm always tinkering with my stuff.
I have to agree Bob it sounds better screaming, I mean the baffle build was great and not a not a buzz killer but it sounded a little too restricted imo...I think this machine deserves to have full lung capacity, this is one of my favorite builds Bob I sure do appreciate you sharing it.
Thanks for watching guys. I really appreciate it!
Bob __ Always enjoy your builds. You never cut corners on the most important part of Hot Rodding, the power plant, suspension, and drivetrain. If you can't go out on a trip and make it back, all you have is an art piece. You killed it.
Thats one BAD beautiful rod Bob. You are old school awesome. Thanks for sharing that with all of us.
This is one of the finest hotrods on the planet. . U should be very proud of this one.
Muck better Build than all those High End rod shops that farm all the work out to some millionare money no end
Would rather have this
you can tell Bob builds all of his Rat Rods with pride . he is an amazing fabricator.
She sounds and runs good, been awesome watching it come from scrap to a hotrod.
Impressed with the build Bob. ❤
Rat rod bob
100% bad ass car
Differently hear you coming down the road.
MAN O MAN WHAT A MIGHTY FINE BUILD....Thank Bob & Don helping = 👍👍👍
That old school bus still given ya parts ! Looks and sounds good Bob !
This is probably the best of your creations. Thanks for taking us along on your journey .
Bad ass build Bob. You've done it again! From a pile of nothing, you build a masterpiece.
You could wrap some fiberglass around your baffles. Old school. Might help.
In the words of Red..."CUT"!
I prefer the LOUD version!
Great build, looking forward to the next one.
This build is so awesome. Bob this thing looks and sounds amazing. Such a cool ride and can’t wait to see what’s next. 👍😎✌️
top vraiment du très beau travail un grand bravo a ton équipe
Love loud pipes loud pipes save lives I'm running a 61 Chevy with 650 hp with open headers
Hey Bob enjoyed all the video,s on this build you are surely a master craftsman cant wait to see what you come up with next thanks for taking us along
as someone who learned to play guitar in the 80s by ear and has done a bit of builds , raced and has more builds going on .......No baffles sound deeper and ballsey . How are all the other you tubers getting away with it ? best wishes ,Like your style !!!!!!!
All the other tubers NOT running baffles are now deaf. 😂😂😂
I mean with the police not pulling them over . We used to have laws enforced.@@SpaceInTime1885
Awe man that thing sounds awesome Bob...!
I have absolutely loved following this build. It turned out killer!!
I'm Baffled Bob. I seen you build them baffles. They work on motorcycles too.
But That Bad Mamo Jama Yeller Rat Rod does sound better without them ole baffles.
That took awhile to build. Impressive as all get out. Thing of beauty coming down the road.
Backed up and watched it again.
Still grumpy but better for sure , Friend of mine had a 27 Model A, I believe he used a blown out Cherry bomb filled it full of Lathe turnings it was stealth bud but when he talked to the engine it woke up one of those holy shxt look at the pistons pouring out of this thing a VERY COOL looking dramatic effect but it lasted about 3 months then he`d re pack them .Sweet ride BOB .
Bob,
That was awesome to watch this entire build.
You are a true craftsman and I like how you take efforts to do things right!
Mister Bob that ole coup screams just sitting still.. let her scream going down the highway!!!! Even tho it failed your sound test your technic on building That baffle was GENIUS !!!
Sounds better outside.
I have watched you since day one!!!😅. I wait for ever new video, the Quality of your work n production is Second to None!! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I’ve missed a lot of this build. It looks great.
Awesome machine !!!! Hat off to Bob and Don!!!!🔥
This is my favorite car you've built so far. It looks incredible on the road.
You built one nice little hot rod out of that scap metal you started with Bob. I'm very impressed with the outcome.
WELL DONE!!! 👍👍
Keep some ear plugs in the car and if the sound gets to bothering you on a long trip you can use them to make it tolerable.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
Beautiful!! Amazing work of art! Louder is gooder!!😎👍👍
👍🏻Awesome job! You definitely deserve to take the rest of the week off…And can’t wait for the next project!
You have the best of both worlds! I like both sounds!Great job!!👍👍
BOB,,,Bad Ass to the bone..👊🏼👊🏼😎 Love your build
Best one yet Bob,keep on Roding!!!!!!
This is my favorite build of all Mr Bob!
Sounds great to me with the baffles and without the baffles! I like it both ways!
looks like one of your fans brought you a flower Bawb sitting on your bench man o man I would take that as a win over baffles any day lol👍👍
Hey Bob. Another great video. I like the fact that you upload the videos that show the fails.
Do you have a secret admirer? I see a pretty pink flower on your work table. Or is those RED's. Thanks for sharing.
Ha haaa .. Don brought those in. Already in the water.
Don with the flower POWER🌺🌺🌺🌺
I wrapped fiberglass matt around what passed for my baffles. Quieted it right down. My wife got used to the sound as the glass got blown out untill it was gone. Good way to get away with loud pipes. She didn't notice the change right away.
Bob, that turned out awesome, i loved this build from start to finish. Carn't wait to see what you do next.
I LUV those 60s era mag wheels. You don't ever see those any more.
Bob, great little Hotrod! I sure enjoy your channel! Look forward to it every time! Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed this build Bob
Your the best . Love you Bob .
love the wheel n tire combo yes to loud but rockn the rat
your a awesome builder. Bob..and I think the ride sounds great.good job
Loud pipes save lives😁
Old Hotrod was looking pretty mean going down the highway👍🏻
Bob no time wasted. You showed a great way to make Baffles. I did like it loud though.
the more I see this machine the more I like it. I'm sure you will have no problems tooling down the road with a great big country smile.
I know I wouldn't! 👍👍👍
Bob is like a Dentist. But for Rat Rods
Man I've been waiting for that, pure awesome Bob. You did a fantastic job on this ol girl.
I like way the baffles made it sound
I always enjoy your videos
Great Job Again Bob !!!!!
Wow Bob you simply amazing me wit ur never ending knowledge of craftsmanship! Also inspiring for us DIY’ers to get’er done wit simple tools! Much appreciated for you and Ron on sharing all this! Taking a saying from another great RUclips’ers “I NEED TO GET OFF MY AZZ AND START MY PROJECT “. Again thx
Pretty cool. Sounds great both ways! I'm digging it. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Well, this is a piece of art,Bob. Well done! As far as loud or bad, im on the less noise side,as i want to keep my hearing as its still pretty good. As suggested,a couple pairs of earmuffs for them long rides. Keep up the good work, cant wait to see what’s next!
BAWB YOUR IMANGINEERING IS INCREDIBLE THAT'S A WORK OF ART😊
She turned out great Bob out of most of your builds this one's my fav,,
We all want to be bob when we age never to loud. Great as always.
Love this rod, the stain; (after you wipe it off) makes the details shine.
It looks and sounds great, Bob. Enjoy it as it is, you are the boss.
RR Bob, the problem is you created a powerfully loud beast that don't want to be denied his voice! You'll never going to get a whisper out of that one! Install a hook to hang your earmuffs on so they'll be handy when you fire it up! Maybe Red's got some ideas?
Love it Bob absolutely my favorite ❤ 100%
Old Patches sounds fantastic. Love the 'chunk-ka-chunk' cam. Looks great. Maybe there are some baffles that will work. Am sure you can figure something out. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Nice work Bob and it SOUNDS GREAT WITH NO BAFFLES
Hi Bob, try cutting off most of the closed over cone, to allow a some straight through action. The turbulence from all the fins should still quieten it down significantly, and it’ll still have good flow. A lot more like baffles for motorcycle drag pipes. I’ve loved watching this build, it’s turned out great!
Thanks Bob for taking us along for the great ride,it looks and sounds awesome!
Beauty car Bob!!☝
Another find build sir..ur the man, glad u had a might find neibor to help ,both u guys are a good team
Bob it sounds awesome without, but you knew that! Thank you sir for all the great information
Bob just an awesome car all the way around!!
Love this build, Bob !!!
I like the baffles ! Either way it is cool 😎 ! Thanks for sharing
Awesome video - I’ve never seen someone build baffles. This was cool to watch.
I read once a wad of steel wool will take the edge off...dunno,but ya might try it.
love,love,love the build!
Hahahaha yup I agree Bob that sounds like a Pinto with.laryngitis! 😅 I laughed so hard when you got out and shook your head. We were both doing the same thing.
We were on the same wave length building the baffles Bawb. My motorcycle has a fibre wrap around the baffles that keeps them from rattling and gives it a better tone. Anyway you go I'm diggin it.
Looks and sounds sweet to me on the road, Bob. I love what you teach and the way you teach it. High school shop class was never near this good.
Love that coop ...MILNER eat ur heart out
Well done brother .
Bob i watched you build it all the way to one great machine not much to add because you nailed it to really enjoy ridding in it is leg pipes under the door to the rear tire more money but better sound one great toy
This is awesome , great build Bob , too cool .
I shoved some shorty motorcycle mufflers in mine. Made a flange and bolted then in. Made it fairly quite cruising but aggressive when you step on it.
This makes me want to remove the baffles in a project car that I purchased to see if it sounds better! Great videos...keep em coming!
Removed the baffles today and boy does it sound better!
i wasn't too sure about the yellow, but it grew on me over the months. i tellya what, id drive it. beautiful work Bob.
Hey Bob super trap used to make baffles in a disc- stack to adjust the tone of the pipes.
Hey Bob, you baffle your ole Lady not your Rod. great job.
Rat Rod Bob man i can just picture Red & Elvira strolling along with that fine Rat Rod. Great Job !!!!!!!
Leave it LOUD RAT ROD BOB!!!!!!!! GREAT CAR....ALWAYS LOVE YOUR BUILDS!!!!!!!
This is a breath of fresh air!!! Please keep it up! Watching your videos kinda reminds me of listening and hanging out with my Pawpaw!!
always great work
Those pipes you and Don made are top notch ! Once you heard them open you were spoiled 👍
Yep, definitely uncorked is the way to go. Put some foam earplugs in when you go for a cruise.
Turned out Awesome Bob!! Sounds great
I'd say that its yours and ya build for you. I would of done some side pipes coming out of those headers and done the right sneaky quite sound and trolled the old folks home looking for a date. Sure enjoying this twenty degree heat wave... another month and spring is in the air!
I really thought about pipes like that. I even have a set of side pipes to build with but IMHO, I feel it would take away from the look of the car. You probably know by now that I like simple ... no creature comforts. So I sacrificed a lot of comfort in the name of cool looks. So in this case ... ear plugs ... here I come.
Kool RRBB you have built a beauty! ~~~~~Open Headers
Beautiful rad rod bob keep up the great work and videos
From my experience, those terrible outrageous sounding baffles need support internally. They will bounce and break at the welds. So glad you took those out.
Yes they will break. Like you said ... need support for the long haul, but they are a good start to build on.
Congratulations 😊
Just like you said Bob, it's GREAT!
