Tell them Rat Rod Bob sent ya!
Most people wouldn't have attempted to build that car! Bob jumped on it and ran with it!! Preciate ya Bob ,Don and Red!!!
Dang Bob you just about built that thing from scratch that's so cool
Thanks for inviting us into your garage, Mr Bob. 😮
Thanks for coming
Hey Bob, As Diff would say in Africa. "Buy a Donkey" it means Thanks. Have a lekka one. Lekka means Great. This redneck from kentucky says Buy a donkey for sharing RRB. Have a Lekka week off with pay. 😊
Had to laugh------ When Bob started rolling those beads I said out loud: "Roll That Beautiful BEAD Footage!"
Nice shoutout to Div, @ratrodsafrica, watching both you guys is inspiring. Get out there and cut something up. Welcome Don
" Officially" and Glad to see Red tossing in his suggestions. It is gonna be cool, ツ.
I love the Ole skool approach and keeping the master cylinder under the floor, I'd rather have a clean firewall than all that busy business hanging out, nice work Bawb
That’s a beautiful thing! It’s looking better
Don is living in the right area for sure. If I lived around Bob. I'd be there soaking up every lesson I could. Don is a hands on guy and Im glad he's your friend. Seems like regular folk to me.
BOB. We need some more beads in that there Firewall. Have a fine day Sir.
I lived in Winston Salem North Carolina for five years, and only came back to New York State because my step daughter had a baby girl and my own father began having heart problems!! Every day since I miss living in the south and miss the times and friends I had down there!! I never really met a lot of people mind you, but those I did meet were just wonderful folks!!! Of course what a lot of people don't understand too, is the town in New York I live in is a farming community just south of Ithaca New York and Cornell University known as Danby!! It is basically a "hick town" and I grew up on 15 acres with my baby brother and our parents!! I had a dirt bike and always dreamed of building cars like these!! BUT my folks always stood in my way, because (in their words) they "Didn't want a pile of junk sitting in their door yard!"!! The crazy thing was, I was not allowed to buy cars, park cars (on their land) or store cars at their house!! BUT my baby brother was allowed to do all that and more!!! I am of course the black sheep of the family.....so there is that!!
Couldn't help but notice that the only painted part on the Coupe is the Canary yellow radiator shell AND you're wearing a color coordinated cap during the intro. Can we anticipate more of this fashion consciousness in the future?
I wish I lived near you like Don does. I'm glad you listened to Red and put more beads in the firewall. It looks like it belongs. The small things like beads not only give it strength but adds to the look.
Top hat bob...that's yer altered ego...😜
I see the wisdom of making the firewall in two pieces, but getting them to come out exactly the same had to have been a giant PITA!! Nice job.
Don had enough sense to get out of New York. Good for him! Living with a dictatorship kind of rubs us all the wrong way.
Real nice job Bob and Don and Great recycling the Bus
Lookin good Bob! Those FORDs can help out on clearance problems eh. Ha ha ha.. you go Bob. your ARE gettin it. It looks like it'll get too.
Good on Donn for being there to give you a hand
Okay now I understand why you chose the color yellow, the metal originally was in a school bus.😊 looking good Bob, thank you for sharing.
Red keep Bob inline!
that's come a long way from a wall hanger!!!
Don, we appreciate you much, that old man does a lot of raseling with those girls he builds!!!
And Red... He s no help he got Elvira Brain.
That firewall looks great , good job
You Don and Red make a good tag team .there is a little more room.than my t bucket that's good to use the metal off the bus .
Giving that school bus a new life...looking good Bob.
Wish I could take the rest of the week off with pay lol that yellow is gonna be good 🙂
That small block looks just tickyboo in there. And more room to work to. This project is coming along just fine. I really like it.
We need more Don, not less Bob but more Don. Us old guys need some help now and then 😎
Thanks for the mention brother! Ja, I've done trice as well a number of times 🙂
@DonCatherman that's quite a compliment coming from The School of Ratrodology!🙂 Appreciate

Great work Bawb all the way from wexford Ireland
So I was watching some other video's when I decided to click on my subscriptions to watch another video of a model A being built. I saw that Rat Rod Bob had a new video up and I said Rat Rod Bob well he comes first
Look'n good Bob...Oh and tell Ole Red if he keeps complaining that you'll tighten up his bolts real good for him; and for good measure you'll put metal shavings in his shoes😅
Looking good Bob. Glad you got some help in this summer time heat. Stay cool and keep on keeping on.
Awsome great job love the names on the panels
Nice. :)
I like the old-school metal working, everything today is stamped and boring, and I like watching something actually being formed and be created
I see red is back on the job nice work as always Bob
nice work as always
Little by little Bob 👍
it's lookin' real good Bob. We appreciate Don comin' down to give you a hand !
The three orobg straight cut metal shear was invented by a guy named Al Swink after WW2. His first invention after the war was the car wash. It was featured in Look Magazine. He used surplus B-17 superchargers as the air blowers. The shear changed metal shaping forever. Both he and his wife became mayors of Santa Monica, Ca. He had a long and very interesting life.
Bob you got it going on few more videos you will be burning rubber thanks for your videos
Looks like you put a few beads in your time there Bob. Excellent job , you and your buddy have done a nice firewall you can be proud of . Looking good .!!!🇺🇸👍
You need a tilt wheel setup ,another joint and your headers of choice to keep your angles good and clear . Good help is always appreciated Don . You guys got this.👍
man that looks nice you do some great work Bob. I love watching your videos thanks for posting. That is a killer Model A for darn sure. Its tight and sweet. Its gonna be a ripper for sure.
I thought a ripper was a fart!
You are a freaking genius! The stuff you do is ingenious!
Ole Red wants as many beads as in a Mardi Gras parade
MAN, AN'T THAT THE TRUTH. "GOT TO DO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL WE GET IT RIGHT!'
Good to see keep it going ✌️
Love your builds Bob. Every one of them. You are an amazing individual.
A few months ago Bob literally carried pieces of a car into the shop, we now have an actual rigid body, frame and drive train. What most people in the hotrod community call a basketcase and walk away from, Bob weaved it into one bad bread basket.
MAN, that is a good looking firewall Bob, now I have to find the video on that bead roller wheel set up! ;) I have the same one minus the cool wheel.
Little bit of real live rat in the build 👍 Hope a great summer for you all there Bob !
👍😎 lookin mighty fine😊
Bob... you re a great person...seeing your cooking pan, its was fun. Seeing your talent, so is my friend... I really hat a lot on fun!!!
A master and apprentice, Well done Bob and Don
I think that firewall will need some stitches by the time it's done.
That’s a good looking Rat Rod😀😀
You know it's a real rat rod when the metal has been distressed by real rats. Looking more gooder each day Bob.
You got it by the tail on a down hill drag. Enjoyed. 👍 👍
Love what you do. I'm learning a lot. Please cover the intake.
Why, the engine isn't a runner.
Lookin good Bawb! Coming along nicely 👌
Here's something to try on your Model A coupe paint. Use the yellow for a base and try a reddish brown to give a distressed look. I think it would be cooler than the black...just my 2 cents. You may or may not like it. Love watching.
I'm digging it! Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
car looks bad a$$ Bob. love watching you build them
i want u to know i been practicing your weld stitches, I've used plenty of sheet metal off of old school buses. just got me a 33 Ford truck, no drivetrain and the bottom 6" is pretty much gone., even the frame is weakened by rust. love your channel Bob and i appreciate your time showing us tips and tricks of the trade. thank you..
Really nice work on the firewall. Great use of old metal!! Look forward to see how the floor pan comes together. Be safe and stay well.
New subscriber here. I like what I see.
Rat Rods is not that common here in Norwaay, but we have a few. Very strict rules when it comes to building rods here.
I like this hotrod more than Milners hotrod in the American Graffiti movie cause it's a Ford powered rod and it's starting to look meaner than Frankenstein with all that stitching. Ratrod Bob does it again.
Look”n”Good Red was right it needed more beads. Thanks for the lesson.
RRB, I appreciate the quality of work that you are able to do with pretty basic tools.......none of those fancy $10K machines. Car looks great, love the stance. Keep the videos coming.
It's looking good. You do amazing work.
I'll second that motion,
Look'n good Bob.
Man everything you guys do you just kick it straight in the ass y'all are great fabricators
Another awesome piece to the puzzle. It’s looking so good.👍😎✌️
Its cool that you co mingled with Newbern and crew! I think its too cool that your using parts of the bus too!
Went to Cruising The Coast Block Party yesterday and got pics ... Me, Don, Newbern, Wesley, Dan from DD Speed Shop and a couple more folks. I''ll post it up on a video real soon.
Sounds like a really cool time with a really cool crew!@@RatRodBobBuilds
Henry Ford was 5' -10". Short to me but I would think tall for his time ? LOL Rat Rod looks great BOB !!
Good job
For once I agree with Red.
Needs more beads.
thank you for the vidios BOB
Thanks, Bob. 😃
As always great work 👍👍
looking cool.
Beautiful well thought out car, please think about suspended pedals. You'll have more foot room in the cab, if I didn't have the stock gas tank in my Model A it would have suspended
pedals, that way you wouldn't have to cut a hole in the floor to check on fluid level or add a remote reservoir.Whatever you decide is good by me. Your car is a work of art.
Thanks for that comment! There's a few things to think about with suspended pedals. Where are you gonna put the master cylinder? Hanging off the fire wall for all to see is not acceptable. Under the dash will work but it's a PITA to do and you would have to have an access hole in the cowl to fill it. No to mention, all the bracing you would have to do in a little tight space to make it strong. But I do agree it would make for more room to rest your feet.
Best always.
👍🇺🇸
thank you
Sir Bob. Are things Ok ? Miss your Build this week. Peace Be With You
The shop is like an oven ... other than that all is well!
I used old oil barrel for my floor in my volksrod
You should do a 54' Ford Econoline pick up. Put a big block in the bed!
Hmmm??... U mean 64 Econoline, as in 1964? Econoline was introduced in 1961 as a replacement for Ford F Series panel trucks.
@@RaysLaughsAndLyrics
54' , 64' ehhh what's the difference!😟 Sorry, fat fingered it.
Still though a 1961 - 1967 Econoline pick up would look cool. like a Matchbox car.
@@RaysLaughsAndLyrics
Remember, if it wasn't for idiots like me your intelligence wouldn't shine. Your welcome...
@@stevezelazny6987 No foul Steve.. Just thought to clarify for the young folks not familiar with the Econoline. I frequently have to use the Edit feature in the three dots to the right of the comments to fix my finger fouls.😁😁😁 Best of health, long life and prosperity to you and yours👍
@@RaysLaughsAndLyrics Back to ya 👍
Are you going to make your own headers bob?
Put motor oil on your cutter and wipe a little on the metal it will cut easier
Do you need me to stop by so you can make sure the seat vs the steering wheel is in the correct spot? I hate to have to re-adjust it when I pick it up..
😎
How much chop dose it have? Was that a flange that you used for the outside or bead to stiffen the sheet material? 18 gauge?
Hey Bob , lol Henry Ford was 6 foot tall
Now I see why you want to paint it yellow, lol.
