Recently got a TT02 type S (well, two - one for me and one for my son). I'm the type that would strip the car after every race weekend and after only 3 tear downs I noticed 2 screw threads had given up. There's some advise out there on using shavings of plastic heated up, glue, locktite etc but I swapped out the screws for hex head machine threaded ones and this improved things. I sure wish I heard of your tip on back turning until the click however, as I also own a Tamiya F201 which has quite a few threads gone in the same manner. I always used to run Team Associated cars - having threads go was never an issue on their models (aside from the lower suspension screw on the B4). I guess the Tamiya plastic or threads of their screws isn't as forgiving. Anyway, great video Mark as always. I tend to have your vids playing as background noise when I work as it satisfies the RC itch until I can break off and tinker with my own cars. For anyone considering it, the TT02 is a fantastic car by the way. I built mine and my sons type-S and ran them at our local track on the stock silver can with a ton of 13.5t brushless cars. I wouldn't say the TT02 slaughtered them, but it held its own against cars with much greater power and racing pedigree (got 3rd in the A-final!!). I do have a 13.5t brushless to go in, but the satisfaction of beating a Schumacher or X-Ray with a bog standard Tamiya is too good :)
Hello, Mike and thanks for the very interesting comment. Oh yes, I have learned the hard way about back-threading screws, many a hole has been ruined in the past. But turning back until the click, you should be able to re-use the holes many times with no issues. Great to hear you play my vids as background noise, keep it going, it all help my little channel!!! I totally age about the TT02, I also have the Type-S and live it to bits! Cool to hear how well you have done on the track with them - well done on the 3rd place! Happy RCing, all the best my friend! :)
Nice work, Mark! And good job filming and explaining. Looks fantastic. As good as new or even better. Ha ha, yeah, not quite yet a Triggers Broom 😅 But maybe some day. Great idea shining the buggy that was with you on the RC Hobby Mark II beginning. Don’t Alf got one too from back then? Or maybe that was a Viper. Anyways. I enjoyed watching the project! Best to you my friend.
Hi mate! 👋 Thanks so much for your kind comments 😊 But yes I got so much pride and pleasure from doing this rebuild, it feels good to make something right again! Hehe, yeah Pete was telling me about sharing the Triggers Broom story with you. 😀👍I don't think this buggy qualifies yet! Yes, Alf has a Neo Scorcher, too, we got them together ❤ So I will refurbish his too, soon. Glad you enjoyed it my good friend, best wishes to you too. 😎🙌👍
watching this while building a new TT02BR, the last time I drove an RC car was 30 years ago, a two wheel drive tamiya buggy with IC engine! can't wait to see what this little thing can do, I'm impressed with the components and think it will be a lovely little flyer.
Hi there! So cool you are returning to the hobby after a long break, I did the same! And you are starting with a fantastic buggy, too. I just know you will love it! Thanks for sharing and all the best with your new TT02!
Absolutely, mate, I'm happy with the Kamtec bodies and have a few of them, the Escort Cosworth Turbo body set is my favourite. TBH this refurb took a lot longer than building a new kit! Well worth the effort, though! Many thanks for popping over, all the best from Mark... :O)
Hi Mark, it's really surprising how many issues an RC can get after several years of heavy use, but I think you must have covered everything with all these upgrades. I must say the Kamtec shell is excellent and who would know the difference ? What a strange quirk with the blue paint. I totally love the end product shell, that is really cool especially those GoPro stickers. They really do make the buggy look unique and extra special. A brilliant touch. Never throw anything out. Nice one mate, this process must have been really satisfying. I bet it feels like you have a brand new car. Here's to the first run 2.0...😀👋😀👋. Have a great weekend.......if you can avoid melting alive...🤯.
Hiya mate! Hope you ain't melting, too - TBH it's not too bad in my front room, it's the nights I find most uncomfortable. Yeah, I think I checked everything, as you know, this buggy has had severe use over the years and I was amazed how good most of the components were - the corrosion on those pins is my fault for running in salt water. Yeah, the metallic blue was worrying me at first, other colours of this brand have been fine. Glad you approve of the livery, just spare bits and bobs I've collected over the years. I think we are both hoarders! Yes, it was a pleasure to see this car back to it's former glory, can't wait to run it. Oh yes, it shall be recorded! A super weekend to you too, dude! :))
Brother Mark, What a Job Man!!!!!!! Wow that came out sweet and the drivetrain is super clean with all those years under it's belt. Don't be surprised if GoPro sponsors you now, wouldn't that be something? Awesome job my friend!!!!
Hiya, Bobster! Yeah, I am really please with how this turned out, for a cheap body and paint. Haha, if only I could get some sponsorship, the money would go to good use on the channel!!! Take care my American brother! :O)
Hi there my good friend Mark, and there is a lesson to all of us. How to make a really decent TT-02B better and looking like new again, using the minimum of £’s and being very thrifty. The Absima metallic blue looks terrific too. I’ve used the Absima grey on my latest build project and the paint is very good. That buggy really looks amazing and you’ve performed a miraculous transformation. Great work my friend, really enjoyed and learnt a couple of things too. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😁😉😊
Hello my dear friend, John! Thanks mate, you know me, I'm a real stingy git!!! It was so satisfying to return this buggy to it's former glory, as these are the buggies that got Alf and I back into the hobby. Sadly, Alf's Neo Scorcher is in a sorry state, hope to do that one in the future. Oh yes, that Absima paint is fantastic, just annoyed they don't tell you to back this blue! All the best, take care, John! 😎
That looks absolutely fantastic. I don't own any 'new' Tamiya cars apart from the re-releases, but I remain impressed with the advances in design. The tub is great, and the enclosed battery (something I dearly wish the older cars had; I've damaged a few terminal wires while bashing) plus relatively simple transmission...it's all very impressive. The paint job looks amazing and I'm glad you got the paint result you wanted. Also those yellow wheels look 😍😍 The salt is something I always wonder about on the beach runs (I'm 400 miles from a beach...) and I'm very familiar with the corrosion on my motorbike from the road salt here. When it's mixed with meltwater it gets into everything and the top few mm of fasteners usually look like they've been at the bottom of the Atlantic! This winter I want to bash the hotshot about in the snow and will probably give it a good spray of ACF-50, a non-conductive fluid which is great for protecting exposed metal parts.
Hi there and thanks for the great comment 👍 😀 Yeah the TT02 is a great chassis and it's well thought out. I was pleased with the paint 🎨 results in the end! It's not too bad running on the beach as long as you can give it a good wash afterwards, but I must gave missed a few places!!! I used to ride a motorbike in the winter, I know what you mean about the plated metal parts corroding. I used a similar spray product too! Cheers 🍻 👊👍
Hey Mark, I like this rebuild my friend. It was such a well used RC with great history (got you back into the hobby!) The mix between, used, broken, corroded and like new was surprising during the break down. As I watched I thought- USE SILVER to back up that beautiful blue, but I have to say the white paint was the best choice. On film the first coats looked good. The body turned out bright and lively. Always enjoy your vids. Cool that you can reach into parts boxes that are years old and find most of what you need. Take care👍🏾
Hi Paul! Yes, this buggy has been thrashed to within an inch of it's life! So there were some newer hop-ups on there and some of the original beat-up parts, too. I really should have checked those screw-pins before, but never expected them to corrode like that. I think silver would have worked just as well on the blue paint. If I'd known the blue was translucent, I'd have sprayed less coats and it would have been even brighter with the white backing. Glad you approve of the final effect. Oh man, I have so many boxes of spare, left-over parts from the 30ish kits I've built - never throw anything away! Take care too my friend, I hope your family are well! :O)
Ouyeah, that's great! Now I feel like going working on my TT-02B also, ha ha! Lots of repairs in there, I'm sure it must be handling really nicely after everything can move freely again. I had the exact same issue with a similar blue paint I'm using also, just like you I thought I had bought metallic paint. What I found is that paint become two really different colours, depending if you back it with white or black. It definitely pops on yours! So I take it we see a nice fresh running video sometime soon? Nice Saturday morning entertainment, this, have a great weekend there, mate!
Hi Mads. Oh yes it was a great feeling to bring this neglected buggy back to life, I hadn't realised just how bad it was. It just shows how important it is to perform regular checks and maintenance. But with so many RC cars I find it difficult to get the time to do as much as I should. Just got Alf's Neo to do at some point as well. Yeah, the paint annoyed me because there is no indication on the tin that it needs to be backed, I thought it was going to be similar to Tamiya PS-16!!!! Definitely will do a first run MkII with this beauty! Looking forward to trying it out. Hope your weekend was good, now go and have a great week ahead, mate! :O)
Well done, Mark! It's nice to see that you're prepared to use a Kamtec body and Abisma paint on a Tamiya. Your choice of decals, though dictated by what you had, ended up making for a refreshing new look. I hope you had a good weekend and that you get a chance to give your newly revamped Buggy a good workout very soon! All the best : )
Thanks my good man! Oh yeah, you know I'm not one of those Tamiya purists, mate! If it's fit for the job I don't care what label it has on it! Glad you approve of the new look, I must admit I got a lot of pleasure restoring this buggy as this is what Alf and I got when we restarted the hobby a few years ago. Gonna get this thing on film soon, fingers crossed it runs as good as it looks. Cheers, mate!👍
@@MarkBryanRC The power of Tamiya purism was illustrated when you experimented with featuring a Carisma and a couple of other brands on your channel. I remember you telling me that this had ruffled some feathers. Still, the feedback on your latest act of sacrilege has been overwhelmingly positive, as far as I can see from the comments. I, too, will be keen to see this funky-looking buggy being run. I hope your health continues to improve and that we can look forward to seeing a run vid sometime soon.
@@Del350K4 Oh yes, Del, i lost a few subs due to my non-tamiya purism! I think those still following are used to it by now - good job as I have a couple of foreign little bashers to review. Can't turn down a free car or 3!!! But yes, this TT02 seems to have gone down well, maybe others out there are feeling the pinch too, in these inflationary times!
I really like the job you did rebuilding this Mark. The old tt02 is easy to upgrade and parts are everywhere. Wife has a full alloy upgraded one and it's a great machine. She doesn't use it much because she's scared to scratch it ha,ha, can't blame her though they are a nice looking buggy.
Hi Peter! I totally agree with you about this buggy - so easy to make it your own by adding little upgrades here and there. Haha, scared to scratch it? I know how your wife feels! Take care, mate!
I had the transparent issue too but I like seeing all the wires and guts within the car .looks very nice with the stickers you had and fair play like you said it's yours why would you want the same car as everyone else. Thanks for your help once again mark
Thanks very much - ahh so it's not just me with this paint?!?!? Glad you like the finished buggy, yes I am happy that I went with my own style in the end, it was very rewarding. I definitely don't like to follow the crowd! All the best, have a great one there! 👍
Fantastic rebuild Mark and a great video on restoration on a budget some very good tips there and you’ve done a super job on the body really like how your choice of decals match the colour scheme have a great weekend best wishes and take care
Glad you enjoyed it, Peter! Hehe, it had to be on a budget as I'm a stingy old git! But it was so rewarding to return this buggy to it's former glory, as these are the buggies that got Alf and I back into the hobby. I was lucky to find so many left over decals that went well with the blue and white scheme - never throw anything away! All the best, take care, too. :O)
Very nice! Good to see it is getting a refresh and it is as good or better than new! I certainly looked like you have had a lot of fun with it in the past and I am sure it will see a lot of fun coming up as well! The color turned out really well and I like the GoPro stickers you used, gives it more of the real race car look!!
Hi Addam, thanks for dropping by my friend. Sure did have tons of fun with this one. But it was so rewarding to return this buggy to it's former glory, as these TT02B's got Alf and I back into the hobby. Sadly, Alf's Neo Scorcher is in a sorry state, hope to do that one in the future. When I was choosing the stickers, I wanted to give it a race car look, hence the racing numbers - you seem to read my mind, Addam! All the best, take care! :O)
The tt02 b are really good . Honestly have no idea why I sold mine . Looks fantastic mate . Give me a shout if you need any screws or whatnot . You never know I might have them in my big box of bits 😂 great stuff mate 👍
Thanks my good mate, Dom. Yeah, why on Earth did you sell this awesome buggy?!?!?! :P Never mind, you can have a go with mine! Same here, dude, if you ever need a bit of hardware or a spare part, let me know, it's amazing what you build up after buying so many kits. All the best mate, speak soon! :O)
Thanks Jeremy, yeah, I think it was my fault for running it on the beach in wet sand! But it was so rewarding to return this buggy to it's former glory, as these are the buggies that got Alf and I back into the hobby. Sadly, Alf's Neo Scorcher is still in a sorry state, hope to do that one soon. All the best, take care, my friend! :O) 👍
FANTASTIC Mate!! Very clever as well. I know plenty of Tamiya NUTZ love their Box Art.... But as a long time fan of custom, I have to say that is properly a banging job!! 👌😎🤟😊👏👏👏👏🍺🍺🍺🍺 Tasteful, hints at bog standard, but unique... And ON THE CHEAP! And Sensored Brushless Motors must be cheaper there. I haven't found a single DECENT 11.5 or 13.5, ANYWHERE in the Colonies for under $50-60! 😫 And I STILL want a TT-02B, even if I have to piecemeal that too! That Kamtec Body looks great! 👌 The Wing is a bit questionable, but doable. THANKS Mukka, for that informative look at RC on a lean budget!! 👍👍 That's going to help so many, including me! All our best, dear Friend! ❤️🇬🇧🇺🇲👊🍺🍺🍺🍺
Hi Carm! Thanks for the nod of approval. I do like to add my own flair to a paint job... Yes, as you know I'm keeping thing on the budget side here! It's so rewarding, though! The TT02B is a firm favourite of mine, I know you would enjoy it too. All the best to you and your family, me Mukka! :O)
@@MarkBryanRC We're you able to figure out how that A5 part fits into the Chassis? I'm looking forward to an informative Video from you.... Or at least a detailed email. I just found out that Raymond sold the design Blueprints to a Chinese firm, for a BUTTLOAD of money 💰 😲 Don't know if I'm happy or disappointed, but he is giving Cindi and I a nice chunk of that check! Much needed, as we've SUNK fast, due to our Grandson inadvertently ordering a bunch of PAY Movies on TV, which seriously overdrew our checking account! ☹️😬😭
Thanks a ton, James! Yep it was so rewarding to return this buggy to it's former glory, as these are the buggies that got Alf and I back into the hobby. All the best, take care, mate! 😎
Thanks very mush, Dirk. Exactly, the Absima paint is generally very good, I have used them often. It is cheaper than Tamiya paint and you get 150ml instead of the 100ml Tamiya tins. I haven't needed to back other colours in the past, just this metallic blue. Take care, my friend.👍
@@MarkBryanRC it reminds me very much of an instructional video done in the best way, you remind me very much of neil buchanan from art attack when hes doing his art instructionals
Hey Mark, that is a cracking rework of your TT02B. Dare I even say it looks better my friend than the original! As you know we are huge fans of the TT02B chassis at the OAG RC. I hope mine gets the same tlc in a few years 😎
Hello my dear friend, Craig! Thanks mate, yep it was so rewarding to return this buggy to it's former glory, as these are the buggies that got Alf and I back into the hobby. Sadly, Alf's Neo Scorcher is in a sorry state, hope to do that one in the future. Oh, I don't think you will abuse your TT02B as much as we did to ours! All the best, take care, matey! :O)
Very surprised the pinion and spur are ok ? You must have got the mesh on the money mate, I enjoyed building my neo scorcher even if it took 3 times longer than the average person lol looks really great mate bang on job well done thanks for your upload mate 👍🙏🐱
Hello my good friend Cat! Yeah, I was amazed too at how good those gears were after the amount of thrashing this buggy has had. Doesn't matter how long it takes, it's the journey that is important. Wishing you a cracking weekend, mate! :O)
Turned out great Mark , I just restored mine not to long ago . I need to figure out a way to keep all the dirt and debris from getting in the chassis when I run it though.
Hi Eric! So that makes two of us with refurbished TT02's! I have seen that you can use a hair net (like cooks use) to keep the bigger grit out of the chassis. But still lets cooling air in. Worth a try?!?! Cheers! :)
Nice work!! I'm going with titanium screws about $25aud for a set and stainless pins just to avoid any rust not exactly budget but hey I love my tamiya
6:50 Had exactly the same experience with that Absima paint. I went and got black and white cans just cause you need it so often and I was hoping I could use them for more than one body unlike with the PS paints. Seems they don't cover well and for some reason the paint is very rough, so velcro doesn't stick properly if you wanted to secure the body that way. Will stick to tamiya paint I suppose. Your body ended up looking great though anyway. Cheers, Robert
Hi Robert! Yeah, seems we are not alone with our experience of Absima paint. I also always keep a spare tin of silver, white and black for backing other paint with. I agree that this stuff doesn't cover as well as Tamiya PS paint. Mine doesn't seem to be rough, though. Glad you liked the way the buggy turned out. All the best, Robert.
@@MarkBryanRC Hi Mark! My mistake, what I used was some cheap stuff that's called "RC car colours" by a belgian company called "ghiant". So I might give the Absima paint a shot after all.
@@bamboozledbob3298 Ahh, I see! Yeah, at least the Absima tins are bigger - 150ml, and the solid colours cover pretty well. Cheaper than Tamiya as well. Cheers, dude! :)
Hiya matey. Hey that was really interesting. These types of project are very satisfying especially when you can use a load of bits you had already. I'm always amazed at the spares I've accumulated. With the paint I think that the Tamiya metallic colours always need a backing too but that one was especially see through. Body looks great with those GoPro stickers on. You never know they might send you a free camera for all the advertising 😁 Haha it's funny that Mikael has remembered me telling him about Trigger's broom. I don't think that this project qualifies as there is still plenty of the original car there. I'm sure that it runs as well as it looks. I'd be interested to know how well the paint sticks to the body as I find it flakes off the Kamtec ones a bit easier. Hope you are ok in all this crazy heat. Hey did you see anything of the commonwealth games? That was just up the road wasn't it? Anyway take it easy my friend 😁
Hi Pete! Good to know I'm not the only one with so many spare bits and bobs, I think some folk thought I'd actually bought all this stuff for the project! I never throw anything away! I should have shown that blue up against the light, after half a 150ml can it was still almost transparent! Haha, GoPro sending something for free would be cool! Not in a million years though, mate. Yeah, I also had a chat with Mikael about Trigger's Broom. It's the kind of story that sticks in your head, I think. But definitely this buggy has has less than the equivalent of 7 handles and 14 heads!!! =D Hope the paint don't flake, TBH my blitzer Kamtec shell has been fine. Didn't see any of the Games live but saw it on TV. Up to £100 a ticket for some events - I'd rather buy another Tamiya for that money!!! The closing ceremony was awesome, it's on iPlayer if you missed it. Anyway, thanks for always leaving a thoughtful comment, always a pleasure, mate - have a great week - cheers! :O)
Hi Damian and thanks for dropping by! Mate, I've built so many kits and I keep all the leftover parts. E.g. The 5mm ball joints were from my Konghead as I didn't fit the rear steering. I have so many boxes of bits that I'm not sure what I've got. Seriously, though, if you ever need a spare part, give me a shout, I might just have it. So many other RC enthusiasts have helped me with parts already, like the universal joints and Servo on this build. What a fantastic community!
@@MarkBryanRC That's very kind. I am not one to ask for help though which is probably to my detriment and something to do with pride. I do appreciate it though 👍🏼 Just wish me luck finding a part time job to fit in around my son, that will do 👍🏼
@@DustyFingersRC Definitely wishing you luck finding that job! I know what you mean about pride as I'm old skool too! But I hope you can ask if you need something because it's also a happy feeling to be able to give someone something you don't need and they need! Good for the environment too! Anyway, all the best my friend ✌
Hi mark we did speak some time back over this car. I want to buy a neo scorcher for speed running but I don’t want to over do it. What would be a good brushless motor? Would a 4000kv be ok I want to fit the hardened chassis and as many metal parts to ensure the power doesn’t effect the car what parts would you suggest? Can you buy metal diffs for this model and I’d so what’s the part number? What parts would you recommend? I did a while back spend a lot on a carbon chassis for it but I’m not sure it’s worth using. Also what wheel and tyres would be good for high power and what size would be needed I want the buggy to last as long as possible and it’s my first self build kit so I’d need tools that are appropriate for the build. Any help would be great. I’m doing this because I’m fed up of trying to get parts and they are hard to find. Also do you know a painter? If I had the money I’d buy the BR version but that seems so expensive £200 is my limit for the kit tbh the br is like £350 without a shell
Hi again! Well, I don't think you need to spend much money on a TT02 for speed running. I just did the @poorboysrc TT02 speed challenge with a pretty stock car, see here: ruclips.net/video/bNUHgLcF4-E/видео.html My car had a 10 turn brushed motor and a cheap Tamiya Hobbywing ESC. Stock diffs and plastic driveshafts, just a bigger pinion and it hit well over 40mph with the Tamiya rally block tyres that came with the TT02. Some guys in the brushless class got over 100mph with stock diffs, chassis and driveshafts! I paint all my cars myself, it's pretty east to be fair. It really depends on how fast you want to go? A 4000kv brushless should get you well over 40mph with the right pinion and a standard TT02! 😎👍
Thanks! It's a great buggy and you can do a lot to it. As for the universals, they are GPM Racing, but difficult to find in stock lately. All the best from Mark...
I just installed some ball bearings. The previous owner must have been a total idiot: no grease what so ever. Not on the gears and not inside the diffs. The O-rings on drive trains were missing and on the back axle the inner set of bearings at the wheel were missing. All still in the box though. The 17-T pinion was installed in the 16T position. Luckily easy to fix and nearly no wear on the gears, only a little on the back axle….
Hey there Mark, bout time you threw up a new video, it’s been a while, and how’s bout Rob , you guys been in touch wiv each over lol 😂. Niiiiiiiiiiice to see you again mate and super nice informative video.
Hiya Mikey, great to read ya! That's funny, mate, I've been uploading a video every Friday without fail! Last weeks video has Rob and me presenting it together, you must have no notifications. Haha, hope it's just you it's happening to!!! Thanks for the message, hope all is good with you!
Oh yeah, rusty plastic!!! I did apply grease upon initial assembly, but that was years ago and I should have regreased after running at the beach! All the best from Mark... :)
Yeah, if you mean the body shell it definitely hasn't got as much detail and has a few blemishes. But worth (half) the money as it's had plenty of knocks and the Lexan is good and strong!
I bought a new tamiya shell for a conversion I’ve done on a road car version ,they don’t come with masks and the spoiler is as thin as the kamtec one. so the kamtec shell is better value for money, cheaper and with the masks.that paint is the same as the core Rc paint I used the metallic purple ,it’s taken a full tin to cover the shell and wing, well sort of covered it, then when I put the white backing on after about three hours ,it soaked through the purple on one side so it’s a sort of purple white colour .seems some of these cheaper paints don’t play well with each other even though they’re the same make ……anyway that looks a fop job fella ❤❤❤❤
Hi Craig - good info there dude - yes I agree the Kamtec is great VFM! Interesting to hear your experience with the Core RC paint. I have used it a few times now but haven't had those bleed issues, thank goodness! Strangely though, I backed mine with Tamiya PS!?!?!?! Maybe that's the difference? Anyway, thanks for the kind comment, Craig! Cheers! 😊🙏👍

Fantastic rebuild! It turned out great. Always nice to see a well loved RC getting some proper TLC.👍😊
Thanks so much my friend! Yes it was very rewarding to make this old buggy like new again. Best regards from Mark.. 👍
Nice to see this! Looking forward to more videos on these buggies in the future!
Many thanks for the comment! Don't worry, definitely more TT02B to come on this channel! Have a smashing weekend, there! :)
@@MarkBryanRC you too!
@@MarkBryanRC Tamiya did have a body with GoPro stickers on/with it I think, can't remember the model tho.

Also those yellow wheels look 😍😍
The salt is something I always wonder about on the beach runs (I'm 400 miles from a beach...) and I'm very familiar with the corrosion on my motorbike from the road salt here.
Cheers 🍻 👊👍
Nice restoring, looking good now. I think the yellow wheels look better than the stock white ones.
I think so too! Many thanks Mal, I'm super chuffed how this old baby came out, it's been neglected for far too long. Have a smashing weekend, mate! :)
Can't beat Tamiya paint. Nice work as always.
Hi 👋 Steve and thanks for tuning in again! Yeah you can't beat Tamiya!!! Always good quality 👌

Great job Mark👍. I was especially interested in the Absima colour. They cost only the half of the Tamiyas but have very interesting colours.

Thanks! Definitely worth getting those metal parts, no rust is a must! Love Tamiya too!
Nice video, Mark. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching, bud! :)

Hope the paint don't flake, TBH my blitzer Kamtec shell has been fine.
Nice job, mind if I have a look through your parts draw, stock seems good 😉
Hi Damian and thanks for dropping by!

I just did the @poorboysrc TT02 speed challenge with a pretty stock car, see here:
ruclips.net/video/bNUHgLcF4-E/видео.html
My car had a 10 turn brushed motor and a cheap Tamiya Hobbywing ESC.
awesome model
Thank you! Cheers! :D
Great Work. Just got me a used neo scorcher and it needs some care. What brand are the universal shafts from?
Thanks! It's a great buggy and you can do a lot to it. As for the universals, they are GPM Racing, but difficult to find in stock lately. All the best from Mark...
Thanks. Any other good alternatives? The tamiya option is quite expensive
I think Yeah Racing also make the universals. :)

Rust attaching to plastic.. crazy. But I’ve seen odder things. I always put a dab of grease on the pins before I screw em in
Oh yeah, rusty plastic!!! I did apply grease upon initial assembly, but that was years ago and I should have regreased after running at the beach! All the best from Mark... :)

Half the price of tamiya means half the quality.
Cheers! 😊🙏👍
