I went and bought the Murad sunscreen after watching this and then doing some further research. WOW!!!! I have tried many many sunscreens and this one is the most amazing product ever. I will never go back to another sunscreen. This is is for me. Thank you for introducing me to this product!
I agree with the sheer claims! As a POC who is not dark, I still have issues with white casts so I can only imagine how much worse it is for darker skin. I was so excited about the Dr.Gross one but cast if you use the right amount :/
I really appreciate your videos on sunscreen, got the bliss because of you and I love it, and just order the native one… thanks a lot for the reviews. Xoxo from Houston Texas
@@DanaRipperton I tried Avene for non chemical sunscreen. It was good at first but got sort of drier with time. Still, a pretty good sunscreen though. For chemical I liked Vichy the best. I want to try Clinique since it is the only brand, to which I NEVER have reactions. And it works! The Moisture Surge line is amazing!
Thank you for this! I have dry skin prone to redness and occasional cystic acne (acne massively improved with using chemical exfoliants). I love a really rich moisturizer and prefer a matte finish. I’d love to find a moisturizer with mineral SPF appropriate for my redhead-with-freckles complexion - I know if it were a single miracle product, I’d apply daily. I also fear that I’ll be happier with my moisturization if I use a moisturizer and then layer a mineral sunscreen on top (I just worry I’ll skip that step when I’m, say, just working for the day and not outside). Any hints? So far I’ve most liked the suntegrity 5-in-one tinted moisturizer but it’s a bit more makeup feeling than I’d like. I’m open to tinted or non, but in my heart of hearts I’d prefer non (though that’s harder with mineral). I’m willing to pay for a premium product that feels wonderfully moisturizing. Any thoughts?
I’ll have to think on it but you’re going to have a hard time finding something that is both very moisturizing and matter, as they are at odds typically. Which is more important to you?
@@DanaRipperton I think the moisturizing is more important than the matte. I’m trying to wrap my mind around layering - I used supergoop sheerscreen on top of moisturizer this morning, and yesterday tried Paula’s Choice daily wrinkle defense super-light spf on top of my moisturizer. I’ve realized The non-tinted is definitely easier for me because I need to wear a KN95 at work right now. Fundamentally, though, the most moisturizing mineral SPF would be my holy grail!
So you’re totally doing it right. Moisturizer then SPF. Keep doing that! The first that comes to mind that could check your main boxes would be the Olay Regenerist mineral SPF. I have a video comparing it to the Native one, so go check that out, but it’s very rich and really feels the most like a moisturizer. I would definitely want a non-tinted if I were wearing a mask all day 🙂
@@DanaRipperton I found that video last night and I thought that maybe the Olay would be a good one to try! Thank you! I usually like smaller, more boutique brands - but if that’s the most moisturizing one you’d tried, imma give it a go :). I’m also about to purchase a set from your company!
This is great! I've been looking at the PTR. Have you tried the Clinique pep start spf 50? I like it and wondering your thoughts on it. Do you still use the Drunk Elephant spfs?
Thank you!! I’ve had in my basket on the Sephora app for a while now…may need to get it! 🤗 I fell out of love with the DE spfs, honestly. The umbra tinte was a fave and I went through a whole bottle, but when I repurchased the new one didn’t agree with my face. Started pilling all the time and caused almost a weird reaction with my skin, where my whole face would start sweating…very weird.
It’s baffling to me that they chose to add fragrance to a mineral sunscreen, I am literally watching this video to find a sensitive skin friendly nice looking mineral sunscreen since everything typically burns me even moisturisers. Willing to pay for comfortable expensive sunscreen, not to getting my face melt off 😒
"It smells like Kinship...the sunscreen. Not kinship; I don't know what kinship actually smells like". Lol!!! I knew what you meant when you first said it, but that is hilarious. That would be weird if you knew what related/shared origin people smelled like. 😀 That was enough for me to subscribe.
Sorry. watching this again b/c I'm really trying to find a mineral sunscreen I love which will not break the bank. So far Avene is winning but I don't absolutely love it. I'm sharing this video only b/c Angie loves the Peter Thomas Roth sunscreen. I'm tempted to try it b/c I LOVE his primer, but I don't want to buy something again only to return it to Sephora. ruclips.net/video/HiRL46QiG40/видео.html

Whooo!!!! It also made it onto my favorites list, which is a big feat! 💗💗💗

Yes! I just wish they would be more honest and quit it with the marketing claims because in the end it just makes me mad when those claims are false!
@@DanaRipperton right! Especially when they’re not affordable products

Awww yay!!! The bliss one is really wonderful! And so is the native!
Thank you for this video! So seasonally appropriate and needed! I’ve been interested in so many of these and many others.
Yay! Glad it helped! I’ve really been enjoying all of these lately

Thanks so much😘
I can imagine that first REAL shower after 3 months...
Chefs Kiss indeed!!!!!!!!!
It was out of this world 🤩
Such a great and detailed review! So happy you put each one on! I’m subscribing 😊
Thank you for this information💕 My dermatologist likes colorscience the best, do you like it?
Not really 😬 The tinted ones I’ve tried are nice for makeup but way too heavy as a normal sunscreen
Okay. I've heard good things about Murad from a couple of people, so I'm taking a chance. Let's hope it works out.
Did they reformulate the Murad SPF? Their website (and older versions) list 10% zinc oxide.
Not sure 🤷🏻♀️mine is 10% zinc oxide
