My dermatologist naturally tells me to use sunscreen. But he doesn’t show the correct amount to use or explain the application on himself or tell me the difference of the many products. You do and it’s well done. I use Pipette for my body everyday because it’s larger and affordable. I have dry skin and it’s like applying moisturizer. The other sunscreens you’ve reviewed look very interesting. Thanks for doing this.
This is the subject I'm most interested in. I tried several mineral sunscreens and I'm still looking for the ideal one. The ones you mention I didn't try yet, so I'm definitely going to order and try them! Thank you for reviewing them for us!
I'm glad you mentioned the fruit extracts b/c I've had about 3 mishaps with French makeup and skincare where I spent quite a bit of money and broke out in hives. I think the French always add grape stuff to their creams and make up, which in my case, is just not a good thing. I love this video! For someone who's going back to school for a second career, I am going to be on a budget soon, so this is great. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this . I’ve accepted the fact that I won’t find a mineral sunscreen for me at the drugs store that I will have to ulta or order them offline
I use mineral sunscreen when I know it may transfer into my eyes with sweat. The Pipette sounds nice. I’ve been keen to pick up another Cotz sensitive skin when I use up some samples. The Pipette will be the next mineral one I try. Thanks for the review and demonstration!
Thanks for the review! Chemical sunscreens tend to irritate my skin unfortunately. Currently using Paula's choice wrinkle defense one, but its only spf 30. Will definitely have to try the Cetaphil.
I think the Coppertone Pure and Simple is a decent drugstore mineral sunscreen, I use it over my Japanese sunscreen when I'm going to be spending a lot of time outside. The cast doesn't show much on me but I'm fair, anyone with a medium to deep skin tone would probably look a bit ashy. The Pipette felt like rubbing straight olive oil on my skin and the Cetaphil one burns for some reason. 😖
Great video, showing the application is really helpful. Mineral sunscreens are so tricky! I always feel like I under-apply. With chemical ones, when in doubt, I can easily just slather another layer on, but it's really not that simple with pure mineral sunscreens. And as you mentioned, they often end up greasy or drying. I've been eyeing the Cetaphil one for some time, maybe I'll finally give it a try. My current favorite is Biore UV kids pure milk, have you ever tried this one?
thank you so much for creating sunscreen reviews!! ☺️ could you plz do a video on affordable combinations sunscreen? been looking for a ride or die everyday sunscreen for years now, used some mineral sunscreen for a while, but the cast are just unbearable, especially while apply the recommended amount i have very sensitive and watery eyes, chemical sunscreen would burn and sting like no others 🥲 combination sunscreen might be an option 😶🌫️
Hmmm not off the top of my head but I don’t tend to look to sunscreens for my skincare needs. Instead, find a product that has niacinamide and works for you, and then find a spf. They don’t have to be one-and-the-same
Dana, if you see this, I've been commenting on your community tab, but it doesn't show any comments unless you click on each specific post and sort them from newest first. Idk why.
I’ve been using Shiseido sunscreen and I was actually happy about it. But then I learned a lot about chemical sunscreens and now I’m avoiding at all cost and I stick to a mineral sunscreen. I just bought Dr. Dennis Gross, it looks amazing for a mineral sunscreen, no shine almost no white cast. But I’m looking from the price point, would be very nice to find sth more affordable. Because paying over 40$ for a product which is only 50 ml is quite expensive.. Thanks for your recommendation and if you find better credible mineral sunscreens please share them with us ❤️
Please in the future. Every time you want to say ' this one's. Say the NSME of the product. Please. I cannot be the only caregiver parent who doesn't have free minute to spare who needs information. Please be kind to those of us who have to fast forward vids and play slow youtubers on at least 1.25 spe ed d. When you speak for minutes straight on one product without ever mentioning ing names and just wave it randomly where you can just see a corner of the tube. That is e extremely unhelpful and frustrating.
Thanks for the comment. I will make a better effort to say the name of the product, but each product is also listed in the description. Also, word of advice when writing to someone here: no need to make digs and say things like ‘play slow RUclipsrs at 1.25’. I speak at a normal pace, and if I spoke faster people would complain that I speak too fast. A lot of your comment reads as super passive aggressive which strikes me as odd seeing as this content is 100% free to you. I will take your suggestion to heart though, and I hope you do the same.
@@DanaRipperton I can see her point. You do only mention the product names once or twice, and you don't hold the product up long enough to let us have that visual reinforcement. Yes, your listings in the Description section seem complete. But when I bounce over to that from the main screen, sometimes my hearing jumps the track so to speak, and I can't catch up with where your narrative is. I guess it's my fault, I just don't listen very fast.
I’m interested in the Pipette. I love that it has squalane in it. Great review as always 👍
Thanks, Tina ❤️💗😘

Great points! And thanks so much for watching ❤️❤️❤️

Yeaaah me too. It’s just a tricky product to make and make well, hence why a higher price tag is sometimes necessary

Very smart! Thanks so much for watching ❤️

Ohhh yes, I think you may like it
I’m very late to this video but glad to watch it, nonetheless! I just purchased the Pipette one and so far I’m really enjoying it! ❤

Ohhh that’s weird that the Cetaphil one burns 😱sorry to hear that

I agree 100% and really enjoy your thoughtful comments and insight. I have not tried that one, but now it’s on my list 🤗
Just a suggestion if you also find it useful: maybe you can make a playlist with only mineral sunscreens :)
Yes! Great idea!
I find the cocokind has less of a cast compared to the cetaphill and the pipette
They are all pretty similar, right?!
I am so excited for this thank You so much
You are so welcome ❤️
Somebody use the C'est Moi sunscreen I want to buy but I want to know if it is good for the face and when one do sport?
Not sure if its the angle or lighting, but the Pipette seems like less of a cast then the Cetaphil
They are pretty comparable!
Curious. Why did you say you would not use the Cetaphil in the summer ? Is it not strong enough? You mentioned this right around 6:40. Thanks !
Mainly just bc in the summer I wear less makeup bc of the heat and the cast is noticeable. I think for many it would be a great summer spf!
thank you so much for creating sunscreen reviews!! ☺️

I will look into it!!! Great suggestion💗
Great :) Do you happen to know of any body sunscreens that cointain niacinamide?

Gaaaaah totally my fault! Thanks for sticking around and now it’s fixed! 😘😊
ok i’m sold on the pipette, i’ve heard the white cast dies down after some minutes
Is your c’est moi sunscreen gritty while applying it? Mine is and I’m idk if it’s how it’s supposed to be or if it’s bc mine is bad.
No, it isn’t but I haven a different sunscreen like that. Usually the place you bought it will let you return/exchange it
Why not the cetaphil on summer tho?

Chemical sunscreens aren’t terrible, but to each their own ❤️
How come I can never see any comments from other people or my own comments?
I had the setting all wrong 😩😩😩it’s fixed now! ❤️
