Side note: I recommend low cuts on your mics. Whenever you move them they make a pretty loud deep frequeny sound that is pretty annoying on headphones or speakers with decent bass. You can use the little switch on the back of the SM7B, the one on the left is a low cut.

I would also recommend a long table with maybe 2 guests on each side so everyone is facing each other rather than the cameras. Seems it would allow for a more comfortable conversation where they are talking to each other rather than the camera.

I legitimately would love to see Jordan back as a guest on the podcast to debate the merits of modern Pokemon.
This was going to be the first episode I watched/listened to (showed up recommended), but I'm listing with earbuds, and I can hear every time someone's hand or hair touches their mic. I hate to be that person, but just wanted to note it in case you guys hadn't noticed on your end 😊 It makes it very difficult to listen to, as it's very loud and jarring. Gonna go give another episode a go!

That's not really how tax brackets work. Tax brackets only apply to the money you make in that specific tax bracket. So for example everyone pays 10% on the first $10k they make, then 12% on the next $30k after that, and 22% on the next $46k after that, etc. So you can never lose more money than you make by going up into a higher tax brackets (and conversely you can't make more money by going down a tax bracket)

Nah Wood got it right pretty much. You’re talking about progressive taxes while they were primarily talking about write-offs. Wood is correct in saying that writing off qualified expenses allows you to lower your taxable income and therefore your overall taxes.
With their example, let’s say you made $100k gross and spent $20k of qualified write offs. If you didn’t take advantage of the write off, your entire income would be taxed (progressively, as you mention). But if you take the write off-decreasing your taxable income to $80k-your overall tax bill would indeed decrease.
Nothing you said is incorrect (and you’re right to point out a common misconception) but it’s more of a corollary to their discussion than a refutation.

I have a Panasonic Q. Fun fact I sent Nintendo the design when I was a kid, they sent me an official Nintendo magazine that I already had… I called it the super duper Nintendo. They must have passed it to Panasonic and released it in Japan thinking I wouldn’t find out. It broke my little Nintendo heart.

36:35 I HAD THIS GAME GROWING UP. i loved that yu gi oh game. I tried playing other yugioh games and there is nothing like it. I bought it on ebay recently just to replay it and it is surprisingly difficult once you get to the endgame. also beginning is a little hard without some grinding...thats what she said... but seriously loved this game on my GBA.
That Pokemon Box game is my Holy grail as well. I got lucky and scored a mint copy for around 375 dollars. Great video guys!

Panasonic Q has a GBA player for it. It's tough to get. Especially CIB. It's actually how I got my Q. My friend bought an auction with one just for the player and gave me the Q.

Thank you. It's already amazing to hear you guys talking about cowboy bebop. But you guys talking about my favorite anime trigun is amazing. Nobody ever talks about trigun and I have been teaching the younger people I work with about these masterpieces. They said they never new they were good or that they used to be top animes before. One of them said they only watch the most popular anime but not anything old. I made him watch the ending of trigun and he was amazed.
Got my gameboy player disc for 3$ like 6 years ago, am thankful.

1) talking to a person without the mic regulary
2) talk about great stuff infront of you, that listener cant see, especially opening a box full of things :))
3) answering questions for the guest first
4) have the guest give his first answer 18-th minute in.
Basicly when having guests, let them shine :)

That would be good for gamers but I expect anything N64 and before to be on NSO and GC, Wii and Wii U will get ports. I heard at some point that GC and beyond were developed with HD assets and then downgraded to make them run. If that is true then it is relatively easier to port those vs the N64 and earlier.
My uncle's best mate whose sister once walked a dog for someone who works at Nintendo has the inside scoop, all the GC content is going to launch alongside the switch pro with the new NSO expansion plus plus multiply option ($200 a year) except the only titles available are Mario sunshine and eternal darkness

The only graded game I got is Tekken Tag Tournament for the PS2 which I bought for pretty cheap a couple of years ago. It's the American version.
Yo Wood should check out Carole and Tuesday, it's by the same creator of Cowboy Bebop and set in the same world, but following a completely different part of the world.
100 years from now all these collectors will be dead and their collections will be being enjoyed by someone else or will be in a landfill somewhere. No matter how much you own, it's only yours for a little while, then when your dead, it's like you never owned anything at all. Funny World we all live in.

I don’t have much. I have a juggernog mini fridge that still works and I use the juggernog coaster daily not the fridge cause they are so bad it would break. I also have a 32x with a box but it’s missing the plates you would put in it not sure how well it works cause when I tried it the colors were messed up. Could have been the cable I used maybe.

1) invest 1.25 million dollars in taxable brokerage account
2) take out $40k/yr + $12k/yr (standard deduction), and make no additional income
You pay 0 in long term capital gains and income tax.
