I recently bought this bag and it's worked out really well. It's super lightweight and inexpensive. I was looking for a sling (day) bag that I could also use as a personal item on flights.

I've been looking for a cross-body bag for use as my personal item on aircraft when I travel (which I do quite a bit for work). It needs to hold a set of Bose noise cancelling headphone, a older 9" iPad, charging cables, a charging cube and a few other odds and ends (in-flight snacks, etc) and I found the Waterfly on Amazon. I immediately went looking for a youtube review and yours was the first one to come up, and I have to tell you that you've done an excellent job! Not only am I going to pull the trigger on the purchase, I'm doing it confidently knowing that all of my 'stuff' will fit in the bag nicely (your snack box is larger than my headphone case, so thank you for that). You do things in your video that I wish every other 'influencer' would do...but they never do, which always leave me wondering if a product is right for me. Keep up the great work!

Just purchased this bag as I search for the "perfect" bag (trust me, it doesn't exist!) It's funny because I actually first purchased it almost a year ago and returned it and I don't exactly know why. Here I am several months later, and I've re-purchased it. I guess bags are kind of like shoes, they all have their purpose. Great review and your right about the cell phone pouch. I never would have thought that my Tank of a phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 9) would fit in there with room to spare. Very deceptive. I do own a smaller sling that has never felt comfortable but after a quick test with this one, It's way more comfortable than my smaller bag. Maybe it's the weight distribution of the larger bag? Who knows. I look forward to taking it out for the day and see how it fairs under real world use.

Great review. I like the uses for the port on the outside pocket. Did you realize that the back buckle can be used to hold a light jacket ? As someone who has gone through menopause, something you can put on and off and yet still carry without fuss is a plus to the bag. Air you could clip your bike helmet so your hands are free. Side mask pockets are where I store my sun glasses.
Is there any burglar-proof mechanism with the zips of the main compartment at all? I'm thinking of getting this bag for my trip to Paris and I'm a bit a worried about the metro.

I will be wearing it with the back to the front. It is safer to travel on the bus with my I s etc. Or I will have to carry it under my large coat with the phone on the front. I like the extra room that it has and all of the zippers!
A review where somebody actually: 1. Puts the bag on her back. 2. Fills it with stuff 3. Says how it feels on her back. 4. Shows some weak points although she is happy with the bag. It is not rocket science. However this is the only review I can find that follows this simple basic rules. Very good.

Headphones thing is awesome for portable charges. You can stick the wire through. I use that feature on the fanny pack and it works.

I am not sure. I have used it in the rain and it's been ok, but not like super heavy rain or anything. So far this bag has held up really well.
With a cellphone, I wouldn't want it next to my chest like that. I like the bag but I wouldn't take s box of snacks.
